    I was extremely overweight most of my life. Doing a lot better with my weight now. I have lost 300 pounds I still am working on my weight and your video's are one of the reasons I continue plugging along I find your video's so helpful. You are so inspiring in so many ways to me. I rarely ever comment, but I just wanted you to know.

    Im in a wheelchair so you can imagine how a person like me could gain a ton of weight easily. Im on WW and ive lost 40 lbs. so far. I exercise along with a You
    Tube videos which are amazing! I used to be a runner before my accident and I used to cycle to stay fit. Sometimes life is a challenge but I get through it! Being on WW means that I eat healthy and stay fit. Thanks, for the video.and have a fabulous weekend!

    This was great! I love a peek into your real life. As a 58 year old woman who had breast cancer at age 52, I was told I would forever look like a pear. Well, I took control and did all the right things, and I proved the doctors differently. You have been an inspiration to me! Thanks for sharing your life!

      I was just recently diagnosed with breast cancer at 56 and am now starting my radiation treatments. I’ve always ate healthy and exercised but feeling like I need to change it up some with the new diagnosis. Trying to eat lean organic protein, vegetables and healthy fats. Gave up alcohol and all sugar. Dominique has always been an inspiration!

    I’ve turned to a Mediterranean diet for the last six months. Lost three stone and I’m fighting inflammation in my body. We certainly need to do things differently in our 50’s. Thank you for a great video, Dominique! 😊

    Now in my mid-60's I can't consume a large quantity of food in one sitting but I find that eating a little bit every 2-3 hours, as your friend Menopause Taylor does, is what works for me and keeps me energized all day long!

      Me to… I’m going though menopause and sometimes I feel you have to work harder to lose any weight and sometimes the workouts are crazy… some people say just lift no cardio unless walking.. others say you need both… and sometimes your stuck

      Stress from the job? 🤔 I am on my 60's taking care of our quadriplegic cerebral palsy son who is 23 years old who needs care 24 hours a day who is non verbal and in diapers. We also changed our diets we cut grains, non dairy, nightshade vegetables, we eat grass fed and finished meats, pasture raised chicken, pasture raised organic eggs etc.etc and all the vegetables and cruciferous are organic, I started to work out on the rebounder every morning for 30 minutes (while my husband is feeding my son through his Gastrostomy tube) the way that we are eating changed our lives and our health we've never been overweight but he lost 12 pounds I lost 7 pounds and we feel great! We have much more energy (we need it) we go to bed around 11:30 pm sometimes past 12:00 (depends of our son mood) and get up 6:30 am (if we are lucky) we decided to change our diet because we want to live until we are 120 (with good health and with our senses) for our son. My husband says I look like better than when I was in my thirties 😂😂😂. I follow her for years and I am happy for her that she changed her diet too, always looking forward for new tips and advice now I know what kind of butter to buy 😊

      @@aliciaarguelles9340 Thank you so much, I usually don't make comments but sometimes people use the word stress so lightly, I hear women say I have 2 or 3 kids and I am in so much stress! I am tempted to say give me your 3 kids and take my boy for one day and you will know what really stress is 🤣 Anyway we adore him in 23 years of his life never had a babysitter (we don't trust) and he goes with us wherever we go, we will never change him for anything we brought him into this world and we will take of him. And, you get extra credit for linking literally everything in your downbar. I've never head of keeping the avocado pit in the bowl to prevent oxidization. Learn something new everyday!

    It warms my heart to see you eating without always having meat. You eat so well. That is an important part of my life, choosing the right foods for myself, so I enjoy watching yours. I am older, and vegan, and always loving seeing others eat quite close to the vegan diet. You are a delight.

    Retiring tomorrow, officially after 42 years of flying (flight attendant) for American. In June I decided at 66 I really needed to get healthy and since my lifestyle was going to change I began my journey to lose weight. My routine is hiking around a mountain 6 miles 3 days a week and 3 days I cycle for an hour in my garage. Started resistance training with bands as well.
    Have lost 31 pounds and I feel fantastic and motivated to keep up the healthy life change! Highly recommend!! Enjoying your videos always!❤️

    I’ve struggled throughout COVID and working from home (in the kitchen 2’ from the fridge). Gained more weight than I care to admit. Add on top losing both my parents in 2021 five months apart from each other. I’m taking inspiration from you and creating a new healthier lifestyle. Thank you for your videos.

    Thank you for this video. It made a real difference. I'm overwhelmed by the news out of Kabul about the loss of life. Waiting with a friend to hear from a loved one stationed there at the airport. We cried as we watched your video. She looked at me & said "no more"! I walked her to her bedroom, tucked her in & went to warm up a bottle for her child. Today her needs are are all that matters to me. ❤ 🙏

    Love this, at 52, I don’t eat too much red meat, I find that it sits in my gut too long. I also limit dairy and alcohol. I eat lots of fruits- can eat a whole cantaloupe in one day🤗

    I am now in my 45s, I follow you as you inspire me for my future well being. I might not have the expensive house and the luxury pool but my city center appartement is pretty good. What makes my day is a small detail in nature that I try to focus, to exercise and hit a little goal everyday and a warm hug of my children. My skincare is a ritual for me, I try to stick on it everyday.

    I love Avo toast but I skip the egg, squeeze fresh lemon juice over it and cracked black pepper and if I worry about protein I add a layer of Cedars Lemon hummus or put on the side with veggies for dipping.

    Dominique, this video was so important to me and couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve let myself go during Covid and gained 10 pounds when I was already 10 pounds overweight to begin with. I need to lose about 20 pounds to feel healthy again. Menopause is not my friend. Yesterday, I went shopping with a girlfriend to the Nordstrom anniversary sale and nothing looked good. My old size was way too tight and I left the store feeling defeated. I needed this video to motivate me to get back into shape, focus on me and get healthy again. Thank you ❤️

    As I watched I thought to myself, I do not think I would like going to work so late but about a min later I changed my mind. How lucky you are to have energy and sunshine to get things done for yourself everyday. I leave for work at 7:30am, get up at 4:30 to try to eat, exercise and dress. Just too tired after work to do all that you are able to. You have such a nice “morning” routine!

    I have started intermittent fasting, I lost 15 pounds in a short time. I am 55 and just hit menopause. I don’t get as hungry now that I have started my fasting . I am a foodie, cooking became my hobby as I retired early because of the pandemic. I found your channel during this time and soooo love all the info I have learned. You have such grace and beauty.     this morning is the first time I tuned in did not know you did this ,I'm grateful that you are sharing your journey with everyone ,I know now way all these years you look so beautiful and fit ,you have a great spirit about you ,very positive and I thank you ,I'm 71 and worked out in the gym for many years ,the hit and run on my motorcycle and riding took all that away ,it's by the grace of God I'm still here.he allowed me to return from Vietnam as a Marine with a Purple Heart metal I joined at 17 it hasn't been easy for me even today I try to be humble with everyone and that is not easy .just a little bit about me.I rode with the patriot guards and did the flag line for the fallen solders also rode my motorcycle to Washington DC with the rolling thunder for the veteran memorial I have two rods and 11 screws holding my back together and three inch shorter the long head bicep muscle is torn from the shoulders in both arm I waited to long to see an orthopedic surgeon and was told nothing can be done I waited to long ,,God Bless and have a Blessed Day ,Martin

    Yes, food is a HUGE part of feeling great especially during menopause. I’m about to turn 50 and went full vegan 7 years ago and I’ve had barely a symptom (very grateful & not to sound boastful, just know that it works!!). I don’t feel like I’ve sacrificed anything as there are so many amazing plant foods out there & my gut thanks me for it! Great video as usual & always fun to watch 😊👍🏻

    You and your home are so elegant. I started eating the Ezekiel bread because of you, although my husband calls it dirt bread, so I buy the cinnamon raisin. I also take vitamins D and K, but I also take calcium and magnesium with it for bone health, doctor’s orders.

    Hi Dominique, love seeing how you live your life which is so different than mine. Having auto immune disease is a challenge. If you practice meditation would you please do a video on this? I think meditation would help ease the stress of dealing with chronic health issues as well as menopause? Thank you!

      Have u guys ever tried fasting. I was eating a lot of sweets it was killing my body. I went on a 5day fast and I feel amazing all the inflammation in my body was gone, my joints feel amazing. Now I’m doing intermittent fasting,staying away from sugar,feeling like a new person. I’ve learned alot from watching dr.sten ekberg on utube.I had no idea how much harm unhealthy eating can do to us.why are we not taught this in school ,it’s a shame.

      @@peggybinkley7870 I do intermittent fasting but with my issues with my GI and meds I have to have food. I’ve done the gluten free, no dairy,no sugar and made no difference. Lupus,RA,Sclerderma,Hashimotos.Sadly back on prednisone but glad you found something to help you

    Loved this video! So many healthy routines. I'm a caregiver, so when I'm off work, it's important for me to just stop for a moment. I love the Miracle Morning practice of silent time. I sit on my reclining sofa with my feet up, enjoying a cup of coffee. The only thing I hear is a ticking clock.

    Amen Dominique!! Menopause brought on so many changes in my body!! I was miserable! I know now that I can't eat the way I used to nor do I sleep the way I used to. I changed my eating habits and it has really helped. I try to exercise more and eat healthy snacks like almonds as well. Thank you for sharing and helping us to feel that we are not alone with the struggles of menopause and can still feel healthy and vibrant. You are a beautiful person inside and out. Your husband is so sweet as well. He's so funny, he wants his steak!!

    I have been a long time fan of yours.
    Periodically menopause comes to mind and I think I’m either at the infancy or in it.
    Last year I’ve gained 25lbs and its a miserable feeling. But I’ve been taught until I get miserable enough then I will do something about it. I’m almost at that point!

      I do the same exercises on my stairs since I am not going out for walks right now due to balance issues. It works just as well and I am safely in my own home. Purchased a treadmill too, so I can walk but still be at home around my family just in case. Safety first!

    Same I eat from 1 to 9 PM and I love coconut anything but I drink tea with coconut milk has a tea latte no sweetener I don’t care for Stevia and Stevia is not good any sugar is not good when you’re fasting. But I love that someone else has the same routine as me congratulations on your book!! Can’t wait to read it!

    I love this for you. That have you mornings to yourself and time to take care of yourself. I will say, though, I am jealous! My day starts with screaming kids and a million things to do for everyone else before I even think about what I can do for me. 😜 It’s a season, though. And that’s ok. I’ll keep this video as inspiration for my someday/maybe folder. 🤣

      That was my morning for 26 years, my husband and I often passed each other during the day when one of us would leave for work and the other one was returning. Our youngest is 18 and is living on campus locally and moves in to his dorm in two weeks. Those days when they are young are fleeting, I will miss sitting out in the cold for cross country and track meets. We finally are getting time to ourselves again. I continue to worry about my children, even as adults but there is a certain peace that comes with this time in your life.
