Happy you are appreciating the quiet at a young age. My Mother knew how to sit, observe, give thanks and be grateful while observing nature. For years I heard, “ slow down, you just go go go and need to learn how to be quiet “. Sadly took me many years and it was after she passed that I too could enjoy and be in the moment. Proud of you! Thanks for sharing your life with us Dominique! As a fellow sister in Christ, have you guys ever just thought about reading the Bible in the morning? Devotionals are great and they’re great for ancillary reading, but oh, how it feeds and grows our souls as we actually read his wordstraight from the Bible! It doesn’t even have to be that long just a little bit or as long as you could afford each day… His word is amazing!
I love that you share your love of the Lord and relationship with him. As a mother it is a joy to share our faith with our children and watch them grow in their relationship with God as well. As always you are so lovely and an inspiration.

Awe Oscar looks just like my Wheaten Captain and the way he is bonded with you is like how Captain was bonded with me. I lost him in 2022 and absolutely devastated me. He was with me through the loss of my husband and mother. I’m just now considering maybe another fluff in my life. ❤

I loved this, I cried actually. It feels sometimes like you are leading me back to stability, to think clearly, after I have wondered away out of too many disappointments. I used to have so much going on, and now, not at all. I need to find some middle ground. I either burn out or become rather reclusive. If not for Jesus, I would have given up these last five years or so. Family estrangements, feeling like I failed, it's all been too much at times. You are so real in your journey, thank you. I may get more organized again today after all. 😀

What you said about gym memberships is why I WALK DAILY in the park right by my home! It's quiet, and I do not listen to anything except the sounds of nature. I am a pro at quiet! I have a limited fixed income, so I can't afford a gym membership. Sometimes, I'll grab a friend or a neighbor, but oftentimes, I love to walk by myself. And I do self-care on my Sundays - I schedule it in my planner every week. But I loved this video, and I am doing a whole=house declutter, until I have NO MORE ANXIETY about it! I listen to Brother Anthony George from First Baptist Atlanta! You'd love them!

Add a Shower Filter that removes the Chlorine and Floride from the water. Your hair will be healthier and silkier. Shampoos and conditioners that are Sulfate and phosphorius free as well.

We have run parallel circles since we were in Houston - since we were teens. (We’ve known some of the same wonderful unique people who always spoke highly and respectfully of you.)
In the 90’s, I moved to Las Colinas and absolutely loved it! The ambience of DFW made my heart calm as I embraced the new lifestyle. There are many nice nice yoga and pilates locations and excellent trainers. Truly, I am beyond ecstatic that you found a piece of Heaven in DFW to continue on your journey. You’re just adding more pages to your adventures! The best is yet to unfold! Love & Peaceful prayers from Houston 🕊️♥️🙏

My son & your mother passed only a few mos apart , so it’s wonderful to see you so happy! I wish I could get to the point that you are. I feel that after watching this video , that you having a husband is one part of it but you making God such a big part of your life is what’s making you sound & look so content. I haven’t been to church but a few times since my son passed. Yes I’m ashamed of myself. I’m not angry at God, but deep down I must be & I’m only in denial (?)
Everybody has told me to read the Bible more when I’m feeling depressed & ask God to help me as most ppl feel that depression is from the devil. I do pray. Different times of the day but I must start reading more. If I pray every time I’m depressed, I will be reading the Bible all the time as that’s how much I’m depressed.
I know it’s not our business so you don’t have to answer , did you know Vick for along time or before your mother passed?
Ppl have told me that I need someone & have even made suggestions but I don’t want to meet anyone & I have no feelings for anyone in my past.
I’m happy for you but it did surprise me that you got married so fast after divorced .❤ I know there’s no time line on how long a person should wait! 😂 Please don’t take this comment the wrong way as I love you & your channel so very much & have for at least 6-8 yrs!❤ I’ve gotten behind on seeing your videos & podcast! It’s not been rude. It’s just cultural curiosity. I have live in 3 countries and l am always trying to understand the cultural differences, and it’s great. I learn a lot and respect everything that l observe and absorb.
It always amazes me at the cultural differences between Europe ( U.K.) and the US, despite sharing a common language - it’s what makes life interesting !

Dominique, is that a hickey on your neck? It's fun that you are enjoying a passionate relationship at your age. You go girl! Enjoy every minute. I remember going through a mid-life crisis too and rushing into a passionate second marriage and how liberating it was for me. Only thing is, that when my new husband went off for the weekend, I realized that I actually enjoyed his absence more than his presence. I didn't expect that weird awkward feeling when he arrived home. Glad to be free again and me again. It was fun while it lasted though.

The best workout is to work in your garden yourself... Mow the lawn, rake up leavs, plant and care for plants. For me it is useless to drive to the GYM in a car and run and exercise there and drive in a car home again... 😂
