Wow, that is a lot of work getting ready but you have it all figured out and look beautiful. I used to get up at 4am on the week-ends I worked as a nurse. I would go to my parents home about 2 blocks away and get them breakfast and help Mom change clothes (she had dementia) before my 45 minute drive to work. It was always hard but fun, because Mom would always ask me if my scrubs were new (no) and that I looked nice. That made my day start out well! Good luck with back to work!

Sheesh…exciting, gorgeous, empowering, exhausting…makes me think back to your peaceful days of yoga sessions, salon appointments, times on the balcony, coffee chats. I’m not sure I could go full throttle anymore like you’re doing again.
WOW! I need a nap just from watching this video! 😂 I was a morning show cohost in radio in my 30’s and know it’s not easy…I can’t even fathom waking up at 3:30-4:00 AM prepared to be seen on TV day after day! I’m 55 now and often wonder how I did it 20 years ago. As much as I absolutely loved it there’s no way I could keep that schedule today. Do you have days where you regret taking on this rigorous schedule at 57 despite looking and feeling incredible? I’m new to your channel and FB page and love it! Thank you ❤
This kind of work is intense and a lot of hours of dedication. Thank you for showing us some of it! It is amazing that you have to learn about new stories while putting on makeup (and in your case taping the event as well). You and your partner looked great after all that make up!! Take care. Hope you do get to rest and let your hair down on the weekends!!! "Whew!"
Great video Dominique!! You’re fabulous!! Could you share on- air makeup tips? How to look flawless on camera and your makeup go-to’s when filming? Thank you!!! 🩷
Thank you for taking us along on your morning! The alarm sound on your phone is the same one I woke up to (at 0420) when I was a nurse. Brought back memories! So happy for this new chapter of your life. 💜
I have been on the same schedule and my life changed quickly to start getting up early and work all day. The first year was tough. I have always worked and ask myself how did I do this so easily with an even more rigorous schedule. The greatest part, even though I am married to a great man, is I have peace of mind that I can take care of myself and help pull weight. Also, I continue to learn constantly. Oh, and starting a new job is exhausting in itself. I wish you all the best as a sister that semi-retired and went back.
Oh I have the same alarm sound (harp)...I used to have this more jarring one that instantly put me in a bad mood...and my waking up is now so much more gentle and pleasant...
So sweet that you took everyone’s advice and now double cleanse. Your skin will thank you with all the makeup you have to wear. You look wonderful at your job. Seems like a great group. Hope you will enjoy it for a long time.
Hi! I just want to say, I’ve learned A LOT from years of your videos. We are about the same age, so the videos are great! My only 'ask' is for a video for those of us in our 50s who have chosen to forgo cosmetic facial alterations. I love makeup, but I do have the average neck skin and under-eye issues in my age group. Thank you for all you do and blessings.
Totally agree that it would benefit you to do a second cleanse. IMHO, using a gentle oil (my fave is Dermalogica) to initially melt off the war paint works better than two "soap and water" cleanses. Just FWIW.
I love this "take us along" morning with you! It's so impressive. Don't think I could keep up with this pace at my age but I have so much respect for you. ❤ Thanks Dominique.
I just love you Dominique ❤️ You just radiate love & kindness. You’re fun to watch! You are like the energizer bunny! I love these types of videos you do! You are just beautiful!
Your coffee looks so yummy! What is your preferred mix, and what machine is it that you use? I do my vanilla latte up totally by hand and love the looks of your coffee maker.
Dominique thanks so much sharing your morning routine… it’s so interesting to see behind the scenes. I do have a question about the brush you used applying under eye makeup, somewhat flat brush. I don’t think I’ve seen something like that and wondering if you could tell me what/ where can get that? Thanks
Dominique you are just amazing and I'm in awe of you LOL.... How you manage to do everything in your life and to do it so well is astonishing. I just have to ask you, is there any part of you that misses your old life? You know, that you we're able to get up leisurely at 8:30 a.m., do your yoga, workout in the gym in your building, have your best friend in the same building.... Just wondering if any part of you misses your old life?. You are simply an amazing human being and I'm so glad you are relishing your new life!!

You are inspiring to us women when sometimes we are worn down. You give us a pick me up. Thank you for sharing your world with us and I hope you continue to have a blessed life. 🌸🐝
Please can you tell us (sometime /anytime !) what your face feels like after being under the studio lights for 2 or 3 hours, or however long you have to be there ? I think mine would feel dry, drawn and hot if wearing full make-up . Or can you mist your face with something now & again through your session, & if so what is it please ? Great video, thank you.
Actually, the lights aren’t hot at all. The newer ones are LED, so they don’t change the temperature in the studio. I touch up with Fenty’s translucent pressed powder during the show.
Really fascinating, Dominique!!!! I would NEVER have been able to have pulled that off, but (as usual) you did it beautifully!!!! I was a bit surprised that you were wearing a top that you’d have to pull over your head after doing your makeup and hair!!!??!!!
I've been watching you for so many years Dominique back to when you were just starting out in your bathroom. And now look at you moving on with your life and your new routine. Best wishes to you my dear.😊

I absolutely love makeup - everything about it - and not only never leave the house without being made up, I almost always get "ready" with make-up, hair and nice clothes, even if all I'm doing is staying home. I do this because I enjoy the process and the results. And, of course, Dominique, you do it so well and look so beautiful. But I could not help but wonder how late a guy could sleep as all he would have to do it take a shower to be ready for anything. The idea that intellegent, educated, sophistacted, informed and talented women have to spend so much time and money looking beautiful and glamorous to do their jobs is disturbing. And, no matter how much a woman enjoys this process, there is no doubt that it is expected. And this makes me feel uneasy.
A little contradictory given that you said you do it even if not leaving the house. And the men will still wear some make up on TV. I think the make up is a normal part of Dominique's routine, so, like yourself, she's doing it for her, and because (she's mentioned before) the studio lights are brutal, so she will avoid looking washed out
@@samc5877 I'm 76 years old and retired. Some days I put on make-up and cute clothes; dressing nicely and feeling attractive at the grocery store is fun. I don't get up at 4:30 and don't have to do this for my job. I don't have to do this at all. I worked in health care and wore scrubs, had short nails, short hair and no jewelry because that approach helped my efficiency and kept me and my patients safer. Now, some days I play with makeup and some days I don't even get out of my pajamas or wash my face, if I'm not in the mood. Men on TV certainly don't do what women do and probably never give a thought to looking "washed out". But as I watched the video I felt this concern about women pushing themselves to live up to some standard that has nothing to do with anything but their physical appearance. I am not trying to be critical, I just feel concern and certainly an awareness of double standard.
@@samc5877 I do not think she was being contradictory at all. She acknowledged that she enjoys make up and wears it daily, however fact that all of the makeup that female news anchors wear is expected makes her uneasy. So basically makeup is expected in the news industry even for women who don't exactly like wearing makeup the same way she does, whereas men do not have to go through the same rigorous process. Yes, men wear makeup on TV, but I think we all can agree that whatever makeup process men on TV have, it's nowhere near as intense and involved as the makeup process is for women on TV and I also don't think people would say very much if men decided they were no longer wearing makeup on TV. People would probably barely notice, however if women decided they were no longer wearing makeup on TV news, that would probably become a TV news story in and of itself. To me, what she was saying makes perfect sense in that I would be willing to bet if we asked men on TV what their morning routines include it wouldn't compare to women's morning routines timewise and effort-wise by a long shot and whatever extra that is included in the women's process is what is expected of women and that's the part that makes her feel uneasy, as it also does for me. Just a comparison that was made about what is expected of women vs men in TV. You'll see more older men on TV news and rarely do you see anyone on TV news with a little extra pounds but when you do, more often than not it's a man. These are my observations, not the OPs. I can't tell if you're male or female judging by your name, but I'm not declaring a women vs men war. Just a comment about things I've noticed. Have a good one.
@@beautifulsurprise9424 we're all entitled to our own opinions, but describing the difference in male and female TV presenters is the same as comparing males to females in general. I'm sure that I take longer to get ready for work than my male counterparts, through choice. It's a big assumption to say that these women don't enjoy make up as OP does. I appreciate the sentiment, however for this particular TV news anchor, we know she does enjoy make up and getting ready - that's why we watch her content.
Ist time I've seen you at your new career, you make it look so easy & comfortable. One question, where did you get that gorgeous night gown in the dark blue? Namaste, Yoga Kat

Sheesh…exciting, gorgeous, empowering, exhausting…makes me think back to your peaceful days of yoga sessions, salon appointments, times on the balcony, coffee chats. I’m not sure I could go full throttle anymore like you’re doing again.
I still don't get why she quit the previous job if she is working again now?
Boy,she put tons of make up on her face
Yeah I don’t care how much it pays, I’m not getting up at 4am for anything
After working so hard for so many years, seems soooo hard to start over.
I thought the same thing! God Bless her-and from evening to morning! At least she has the rest of the day for her personal time.
Thank you for inviting us into your morning routine. As always you look gorgeous!
WOW! I need a nap just from watching this video! 😂
I was a morning show cohost in radio in my 30’s and know it’s not easy…I can’t even fathom waking up at 3:30-4:00 AM prepared to be seen on TV day after day!
You are an inspiration to all woman. I read your book twice it is worth a read read ❤
Love your videos huge fan and inspiration to me wish the uk fans could watch your tv show somehow cant wait for more love these videos
So sweet that you took everyone’s advice and now double cleanse. Your skin will thank you with all the makeup you have to wear. You look wonderful at your job. Seems like a great group. Hope you will enjoy it for a long time.
What is your new routine with your meals and workout like? Please make a video of that too!
Glad you actually do your own make-up, you do it so well. Love from Australia.
Just FWIW.
That was fun; You’re definitely in your element. So beautiful Dominique ❤
I love this "take us along" morning with you! It's so impressive. Don't think I could keep up with this pace at my age but I have so much respect for you. ❤ Thanks Dominique.
Holy moly... I'm exhausted just watching you! You were meant to be behind a camera!
You look fabulous!!RESPECT!!I could not be up at that time in the morning and end up looking fabulous!! Chrissy❤️❤️
What an amazing video! You're fantastic at multi-tasking. Great to see you thriving Dominique 😊.
Love your morning routine ❤ gosh not sure if i could cope with 4.30am wake up.😮😊. Thank you for sharing sending ❤ to all. From Rosie O from a sunny warmer Devon, England at last. 🏴 x
Hi! As always is wonderful to see you. Those rollers doesn’t strip your hair. Can you please send me a link. Thx
Thank you for sharing your video with us,, you are very inspiring. You always look fabulous and you keep your figure too.🌸
God guide you.🙏
Love from Australia 🇦🇺
LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing am and pm routines! I just starting a second job freelancing for a major news organization (you inspired me to dip my old lady toes into these waters!)
I’m a retired elementary school principal. My alarm also went off at 4:30 but my finished product was not as glamorous as you! Lol. You’re so gracious to share your “before coffee” self with all of us. I loved the part where a producer is giving statistics about sleep deprivation … to ladies who were up before dawn!
I would love to know where you found your woodstock sweatshirt. It is adorable❤
You are truly an amazing woman. I see so much of your mother in you. My daughter’s name is Audrey and she is beautiful and full of life too. You are inspiring to us women when sometimes we are worn down. You give us a pick me up. Thank you for sharing your world with us and I hope you continue to have a blessed life. 🌸🐝
I love your new home and am so happy for you and all the new blessings you have!
Wish I could find the show- we are in DFW area and can’t find it.
Great video. Please do a professional fashion summer looks video.
@@dominiquesachsetv Ahh yes, I forgot that the lights would be LED by now. Thank you for your reply.
I ❤ you for sharing this with us thank you Dominique 🙏 May I ask who let’s Oscar out in the morning? 🥰🐶💙
Thanks for sharing…you do the best makeup for you. Amazing all the things you juggle well! ❤
My goodness! After watching that, I feel like I had a cup of espresso! Good thing you’re in great shape and naturally good looking! That is a serious daily schedule! Enjoy watching you and Merit Street Media!
I love your routine so much ❤️🥰 thank you for sharing it !! It would be great if you could also share soon your updated eating routine since I guess your schedule for intermittent fasting has been quite impacted with your new job 🤗🤗🤗 love from France 🇫🇷 🥰
Namaste,
Yoga Kat
These videos are my favourite ❤
Please, please can we have an updated daily workout routine?
Thank you for all you share. It is so appreciated. ❤
