- This is a full guide for cruise control install, covering all the many questions i get asked on other videos. This install is for the Vauxhall Astra H (Mk5) other vauxhalls may be similar. You will require Opcom to active cruise control.

Thanks to this video it was easy to fit cruise to my 14 plate Zafira b . Note could not get into Ecu to put the green light on the dash but works fine with the other two steps on the opcom . Thanks
great video thank you did mine today my opcom was slightly different so had to mess with menu but done and sorted only problem my cruise control active light not coming on so need to explore a little more

What Astra H do you have? I have a 1.4 Petrol Manual, do I need to buy a pedal clutch switch?
@@uwaisisk8347 i have an easytronic gearbox on the astra h so it doesn't have a clutch pedal, but on my astra bertone (manual) i have a clutch switch.

cool mine works as well ! astra twintop, I fitted stalk first like in your first video, however as per testing 14:12 diagnostic 2 it will not talk to the ecu?
I have downloaded the OPCOM soft ware and have the OBD2 USB interface but I can't get the driver that works? Any ideas?

I fitted mine a few weeks ago thanks to the old video of you doing it on the vxr. turned me into such a lazy driver on the motorway haha, and fuel economy has improved a little !

hi I have a 1.4 astra h 2007 3 door, but It doesn't have the rec, I have fitted in the stalk and programmed it, when I check measuring blocks it says working, but when I drive it doesn't work, any ideas?

The steering wheel controls covers pull off. But there is 1 screw behind. The sport button can only be fitted if you have the sport style clocks.

MhorBikeCo it should work. providing you have everything else. except of the clutch switch.
Is it possible to install cruise control to an automatic, or does it have to be manual?
M LV it can be installed on a manual and automatic. You just don't require a clutch switch for obvious reasons.

Hello man... just a question about the sport switch... what if i change from ''with sport chassis" to "Present"? There is physically on my car but when i push it, doesn't change anything... on my previous astra it did...

Question, and a bit off topic. Is it possible to change the indicator sound or sound level on these? I often leave the turn signal left on as, for some reason the sound seems really quiet at motorway speeds.

Yep. Remap wont change how the cruise control works. So will be fine.
just wanted to ask about chubba's plates. does he run those black and silver ones all the time? has he any trouble with the police? they are only supposed to be run on cars before '75 as far as im aware but my dad really wants to put them on his V60. thoughts? advice? cheers lads

Are you sure it's the right code? Have you used it for other modules?
i got the code frome vauhxall the key imo, and radio , when you go on op come it let you go on instruments the code is right bot when you go to stearing colum module , it wont acept time out or not acepting , the opcome is not original , thanks

Not sure, either half an hours labour, say £50, or diagnostic plug in £80.

I have Meriva 1.7 cdti ,2004 , this way is not working..
Not sure it can be fitted to those older cars with this method.
I Crying Much now , Because my Astra G 2009 with 2.0 Engine Brazilian light on engine fail...And my OpCOM has been failed and i not have money for buy a new :( , COST 300 - 500 Euros in Brazil :( So big cry
