  • It's always important to warm up the body before getting into a strength training workout or other harder cardio workout. In other cardio workouts, I always start off at a slower pace but in the new strength training workouts I've uploaded, I wanted to give you the option to do a cardio workout first, or add this workout before doing any at home workout. This warm up would also be suitable for a cool-down after strength training.

No doubt you've put this up as a link as a suggestion for a warm up before your strength work outs, but it snuck past me. I actually emailed it to myself so I can start tomorrow's Day 18 of weight lifting with it. Thank you so much.

I really like these workouts! I work from home so on my 10 minute breaks I do this 5 minute warm up. An then a 10 minute at lunch. I start the morning before work with a 20 minute workout. I haven't been able to find any other 5 minute warm up to mix up on breaks. Am I just over looking?

Hi! I hadn't really thought of making any more 5 minute videos because I didn't think they would be used very much, other than to warm up for other workouts. Your routine sounds great with how you plan your day with exercise (kudos to you...that takes a lot of motivation!). I have a 15 minute walk coming out soon and will get out some more shorter walks for you in the near future.

@@ImprovedHealth Thank you for the reply the truth is I am in my 60 s and have Rheumatoid arthritis I have been reading alot and learned exercise is one thing that I can do to help the progression. So I stumbled on your videos the length and the beginners is perfect. So I thank you for giving me the tools I need to stay motivated. If the pain and swelling is to bad I simply will do 5 minute to keep going..see you help in so many ways thank you!

@@Hi-oi3gm Kudos to you for doing what is suggested with continuing to move to combat the effects of arthritis! So many people just give up and stop moving so it is refreshing to read you are doing everything you can to improve the situation. I now understand the reason to do more 5 minute walks:) I will work on getting some videos uploaded for you soon.
