For Akut it's much more than just being the Alpha male and leader of the clan. He also has deep love for his human brother and is willing to die for him. Akut has a good heart and he is ready to put his live on the line for those he is leading and this is what the other gorillas know and that's why he commands so much respect! A true hero, a true leader and a compassionate heart God bless Akut!

Firstly, this movie is criminally underrated and under appreciated. Secondly, I think the lost idea of this whole scene is that Akut lost his mother also. It wasn’t just Tarzan who lost his mother. Akut has a reason for anger and hatred also which is part of the reason he comes back to support Tarzan is this particular battle.
Man really pulled up with the family and said, "You fight one of us, you fight all of us!!" I need to rewatch this movie just for this scene, both very emotional and once again showing just how strong a family's bond really is.

I was just about to comment that. They dont even look in the direction of the gorillas. They could have green screened a stand in out so the actors would at least know where to face/look 🤦🏼♂️

@@markus7166 , green screen doesn't work that easily if they are adding shots last minute in which is very common. The CGI was likely already pre-rendered and there was no way for the actors to precisely determine where the mark is even with props. Actually, props would have made it even more obvious because it would be like Mike Tyson missing open head shots back to back.

As a reviewer that when I saw this movie this scene showed the greatest worth and the true part of Tarzan that he had spared the kings life in the midst combat . That his brother had returned the great Gabriella that he had taught and saved his life . Tarzan was there to protect the jungle and also to restore order and bring peace .
Akut and the tribe coming to give him back up was the coolest fucking thing ever

God, the way the extras are menacing thin air with their spears. A gorilla runs past a guy and he doesn't even blink. Its like they had no direction on the day and VFX ended up with very little to work with.

You can tell the gorillas are cgi in this scene when they push off the tribesmen they are not even looking at the closest ape in front of them, they are just stating out at some random direction hoping the cgi matches 😂😂
The CGI could've been better and better coordinated but them using CGI to create the movie is something I didn't mind because it would've been impossible to make a Tarzan film that was filmed for real, on-site in the Congo with real animals-unless the film crew wanted everyone to die. So, I give the filmmakers a pass on using CGI throughout the entire movie because they couldn't have done it any other way but there were particular scenes like this where it's not coordinated enough and not well organized enough.
