Okay I know this movie is goofy but I gotta admit it’s hilarious when Zeus flicks thors clothes off, not because of the reaction of the ladies and couples gentlemen passing out but the two guards on each sides with the helmets on almost fainted too lol you can see them both struggle to keep their balance.
That would actually be a bit horrific if Thor did that. It's a shame that heavy handed comedy bits like this were constant throughout the movie so by the time you got to gold like this you're just tired of it.
It’s actually ridiculous how much blood they are willing to spill as soon as it’s not red. Even a punch causes a Tarantino worthy blood fountain. It also creates a plot hole because how is it possible that normal people never bleed in these movies

In the actual Marvel universe, Zeus is on the same power level as Odin - they are both the supreme beings of their pantheons.
And Hercules time transported and was part of the Avengers. That would be a cool addition. Hercules is in both the DC and Marvel universes!
The Zeus we asked for: 😈
The Zeus we got: 🤡
Hopefully he’s a more formidable charachter when he’s actually a main villain and when they realize we don’t want comedy

Thor says it right at 3:29. Zeus could have been something MUCH better in this scene, instead he was made to look like an entire joke. NOT EVERY SCENE SHOULD BE A JOKE.
How should a forgotten king and a god no longer worshipped who now defines himself off of his past glories, vanity and ego act?
Nothing wrong with the movies it got better for me. I really loved the last few ones. Keep em coming please

The secret scene was the most serious/accurate part. "When did we become the joke?" = When Disney bought us.

He is not Iron Man.
How could he have gotten head?
Zeus banned him from the orgies & the women kept fainting!😃
Zeus will be back for sure
That would actually be a bit horrific if Thor did that. With as strong and tough as he is, just picture him wading into a big battle like the one in Endgame, where all he's doing is grabbing a person's head in each of his hands, squeezing, dropping them after their heads explode, and then grabbing another couple people to do more of the same.
"When did we become the joke?"
Thor Ragnarok
You would imagine zues looking extremely buff like a body builder 😂
The tantrum the girls threw when Zeus gave Thor a robe.
So we can have Chris Hemsworth standing here literally naked, but god forbid one of the female actors from the MCU show a tiny bit of skin because that would be too ''objectifying''
Stevie Wonder can see how obvious the double standards are.

I am glad God of War could redeem Thor after Marvel’s fiasco damn
I was disappointed with the portrayal of Zeus, he was a joke, the thunderbolt is not a weapon, Zeus can teleport, spawn lighting bolts from nothing, it would had taking Thor all he had to even defeat Zeus. This was super disappointing.

I get that the power levels vary in different universes, but how is Hercules going to be on Thor's level when he just trashed Zeus with ease in this universe?

I know this comment is old, I wonder if it is more than Zeus underestimating his opponent and losing to his ego than Thor actually defeating him himself.

zues in marvel
:ima show you how i weild my lightning
Idk it makes perfect sense to me from the semi mythological angle and from the marvel comics angle. Zues is shown here to be very much capable and maybe once did take things seriously but realistically hes the head of the all fathers and hasnt dealt with the hell the asgardians did as far as we are aware. As much as we hate to admit it; Odin is kind of the same way Zues is but the way he coped with trauma of his younger years was adopting the son of his enemy and had to come to terms that his kids were super messed up. Zues would be fat, hedonistic and overconfident with his level of power.

@@truegamer2819 How narrow minded can you be. There are plenty reasons why he doesn't need to be buffed. Sure you can build muscle at that age. But do you know how long that takes? Scratch doing it the way Hemsworth did it because taking steroid is out of the question at his age. That would be detrimental for his health. So then he should train very long and hard, put his body through misery to build muscle and for what? Why should he do that for this one movie?
Russel Crowe has zero obligation to get ripped for this one movie while he has multiple other movies going where him being buffed wouldn't even make sense.
What you should have said is, I wish they used a different more in shape actor for Zeus than Russel Crowe
