2-Rail O-Scale Rock Island Rocket

This video show a 2-rail O-scale Rock Island Rocket at the 2017 DFW Fall Train show in Plano, Texas. Motive power includes FP7s and an E8. The video runs six minutes -- by request from a hard-core Rock Island fan.

The Rock Island color schemes were very attractive to me. I rode the Rocky Mountain Rocket from Chicago to Denver. The last leg of the trip was behind a EMD E-6B. Great ride. Good service too.

Coming from a Chicagoan this really brings me back to when railroads took pride in their equipment and train spotting meant many beautiful photos of a wide variety of colors and schemes on the prime movers strutting like proud peacocks for the passengers attention. Love your videos guys!!!
