Hello, as I type this I'm in tropical Australia during the dry season, I know how you feel, I'm looking forward to returning to the UK next month. I miss the wind and rain.
Hurricane HIlary gave us an underwhelming but pleasant persistent light rain on that Sunday it hit the coast in August but UK looks like they have another big storm tomorrow (Ciaran) and just had Babet about a week ago! I hope their big trees don't topple over.
@@RighteousReverendDynamite Storm Ciarán is rattling my windows as I type this reply, rain has been a bit of a theme this year when I've been out and about filming railways.
The most enchanting rainy journey ever - in front of a puffer no less. Belated kudos to the railbed engineers who forged through rock cuttings, tunnels, round curves and over bridges for a single (mostly) track narrow gauge railway. Nicely edited too.
Hello, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride. The track gangs deserve a big thank you for doing a good job restoring and maintaining this railway, I hope they read your comment.
It's fascinating to learn that the Welsh Highland Railroad is a restored railway marvel. That's why I've noticed a lot of digital traffic control systems throughout the journey. It's incredible how they've seamlessly blended the old and the modern. May the Welsh Highland Railroad continue to thrive and prosper.
Hi, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. The rebirth of this railway is one of sheer determination by a group of people who simply refused to take 'No' for an answer.
Thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride, if you do make it to North Wales, you'll find plenty of other narrow gauge railways, the wonderful Portmeirion Village, Llechwedd Slate Caverns, a stunning coastline and it goes without saying, plenty of pretty mountain scenery 😊.
cant tell you how much of joy this video has given me. I am from India and the monsoons are the most awaited season where the land looks the most beautiful.. the welsh highlands reminded me of my time in the highlands of south India where rains never seems to cease.. i will definitely do these rail trips once the world gets back to its senses
Hi, it's nice to know you enjoyed the rain in beautiful Wales. I hope to visit India again next year and if you can make the journey to Wales I think you'll really enjoy your visit. Best wishes. Tim.
Once the world gets back to its senses? I thought Indians believe that we live in the Kali Yuga for the next 5000 years or so. I doubt that the world will ever come back to its senses before mankind will destroy civilization.
Same, my 12 year old self would have lost his mind too :D it was only last year I found out my 39 year old self still looses his mind when on a train like this when I went to the Sommerset steam train :D whoops!
I also love narrow gauge railways and there is one near my city its called TREZ (SVK: Trenčianska Elektrická Železnica ENG: Trencin's Electric Railway) its run by non profit organization and they only run thanks to support from our city but unfortunetly you can only ride it durning Summer because Trains arent suitable to ride durning Winter due to missing heating and if tracks are covered with snow because there isnt any Plow at their disposal Edit: Also it was build in 1909 wich makes it oldest traction line in Central and Eastern Europe
Lying here at 4am unable to sleep because of pain. This beautiful scenery and journey is a soothing distraction. Thank you. (Perfect without any music)
For a many months now, I have been watching videos like this while listening to music, to help me relax. Started with Japan, then Norway, recently in my home country of Australia, and now stunningly beautiful Wales. Thanks for posting, this is a gem. 😁💕
Hello, we are lucky to be able to see so many videos from the driver's point of view on RUclips. I enjoy watching those posted by other creators as much as I enjoy making them myself. I'm pleased you enjoyed this video, I wonder where you will be off to next? 😊
@@martythemartian99 My wife describes New Zealand as being like Wales on stilts, all four seasons in one day is a common occurence, the scenery is green, there are plenty of sheep and there is also the wild countryside, although New Zealands mountains are 2 or 3 times higher than those in Wales. I remember a time when I used to walk parts of the trackbed and a conversation I had with a friend along the lines, "I hope one day somehow this line is relayed" my friends response was, "No it will never happen." I am so pleased that my hopes have been achieved.
Hi, I used to have a similar conversation with my Grandfather when we walked along the old trackbed at Beddgelert. I visited every year whilst the line was being rebuilt to record progress. I still have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming when I watch trains in the Aberglaslyn Gorge.
My father as a boy with his father (My Grandfather) Rode on the WHR in the 1920's sadly he died before the restored railway was re-opened . I remember walking through the tunnels in the Aberglaslyn pass in the 1960's !! then in 2011 travelling on the WHR from Porthmadog to Caernarfon . I spent most of my school holidays in Porthmadog and also remember the rebuilding of the Ffestiniog Railway and when the first section opened to Minffordd !!
@@ianwarburton2007 Like me, you've watched an impossible pipe dream turn into reality, as stories go, they don't get much better than the phoenix like rebirth of the WHR. I also rode the FR to Minffordd when it was the limit of passenger services. I love happy endings 😊.
A beautiful well kept railway in a most delightful part of North Wales. Enjoyed the stop at Beddgelert where I enjoyed a visit on a hiking weekend staying at Rhydd with other folk from the Coventry CHA at Easter, 1970 in similar weather as this. An excellent video and very clearly produced. Thank you for a wonderful job.
Hi, I'm pleased you enjoyed the video and I can't think of a better way to enjoy the Welsh scenery than from the comfort of a seat on one these wonderful little trains. I'm glad the video reminded you of your own visit to the area in 1970, long before the rebirth of this fascinating railway.
I am from Scotland,if you like countryside and railways, and country pubs Wales is awesome. Been down a few times, travelled on most Welsh lines. Makes me angry when I think of the wasted opportunites in Scotlands Border Region and West Highlands. Narrow Guage would have been the answer for some closed lines, especially with the steam loco's available abroad, many built in Glasow. We have great scenery too ! Travell to some of Scotlands Tourist Spots, you cannot park, even on the closed railway land.( Which if you can costs you !) A lot of people have taken to driving on. I well remember travelling to some of these places as a child by train, seemed less congested. No doubt, some will disagree, wall to wall motor transport is the thing !
The ride is beautiful whatever the weather, but the bonus of a clear sunny day makes this wonderful ride even better, I'm glad you fortunate with the weather on the day of your visit.
I've had the wonderful privilege of riding this line at least three times. I've also ridden the line from Porthmadog to Blaneau-Ffestiniog several times. Even on a rainy day like this, the beauty of the Welsh countryside is just amazing. If you make this journey, bring several empty SD cards with you -- it is simply impossible to take a bad photograph on this trip.
I always look forward to my next trip to Wales, a small country with an amazing coastline and some of the most scenic countryside to be found anywhere in the world. It's my happy place 😊.

Hello, this railway closed in 1933 and that should have been the end of it, but a quirk in the law meant that the railway company could not be offically closed and its assets sold off, so the railway remained dormant until railway enthusiasts began to reopen it in 1997. After much hard work the railway is now open for all to enjoy as seen in this video 😊.

Hi, it's nice to her from Philadelphia, a place I have yet to visit, hopefully I'll get there one day. Wales is a very scenic and gentle country where there are more sheep than people. I'm glad you enjoyed the ride and if you do get to visit Wales one day, I think you'll find it a rewarding experience.
Great video! I love your videos. I'm a train driver from the Czech Republic and I like to see what it looks like in other countries. These gauge lines are very interesting. And the beautiful scenery! Thank you for these videos and sorry for me bad english ;-)
Your English is good, I'm pleased you enjoy these videos. You drive trains in a beautiful country where railways are still valued as an important part of the transport network. If you ever get to visit North Wales you will find a wonderful collection of narrow gauge railways, everyone worth visiting because they are all different in character. I love travelling by train in the Czech Republic, especially the branch lines in the Giant Mountains.
@@Timsvideochannel1 I had guessed it was close to 2 feet wide just eyeballing it but how can a train that appears to be at least 8 feet tall be able to balance on such a narrow gauge? They must really have to take the turns carefully to not derail.
@@miniskunkThese trains defy logic; they are surprisingly stable even on tight bends. All the people can sit to one side and the train doesn't tip over!!!
Hi, I hope you enjoyed the ride. On the day the weather proved to be a real challenge, when it rains in Wales it rains hard, I thought the day would be a total washout, but I was pleasantly surprise when I started to watch the footage back, it came out way better than I expected.
Hi, it's nice to know you enjoyed this video. Wales is one of those places where you are likely to experience all four seasons in one day, that's the reason it is so beautiful with it's lush green vegetation, tumbling rivers and scenic water falls. If you do ever get to do this trip I think you'll find it a rewarding experience 😊.
This is absolutely amazing! Never been to Wales, to my great shame, but it looks so... ...trying to find a better word than 'wholesome'... And never mind the rain. Like Billy Connolly once said: There's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong choice of clothes. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous.
Hi, I love the Billy Connolly quote. Wales is a very underrated country, it has a fabulous coastline, beautiful sandy beaches and the mountains are picturesque whatever the weather. Most holiday makers visit Wales to hike, mountain climb or to ride the narrow gauge railways, I have visited most years since I was a child, I would describe it as my "Happy Place".
Hello, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride, it was filmed in July, I had hoped for better weather, although I think the rain added to the moody mountain atmosphere, it would have been nice to film it in sunshine, maybe I'll be lucky next time. I'm glad you had good weather for your trip on the line.
this video popped up in my recommendations randomly. I am absolutely in love with your channel already, these videos soothe my soul and make me grin like an idiot. I also love how you put in the various road/bridge/railway crossings the train comes across. absolutely lovely! thank you!
Hello, I'm please you find these videos relaxing and it's nice to know you have enjoyed watching some of my other videos. Where I've been able to get alternative shots of the train, I like to include them because it gives a more complete picture of the journey. Thank you for your kind comment, it is appreciated.
I live in the mountains in France, it s way wilder but there's not even a train or internet, barely a road and sometimes 3G. So i watch this to have a feeling of movement. Eases my mind.
People rave about Scotland but I think 🏴 is much more scenic and beautiful. No nasty midges 🦟🦟🦟 on the odd occasion when the weather is nice. A lot of the lovely sites in Wales are on a bucket list for me now that I've retired from the railway. Thank you for the wonderful video and reminding me about this line. 😊 ❤🏴
Hello, I visit Scotland in winter when the mountains are snow-capped, the trains aren't crowded and the midges are taking a rest from biting tourists. I love Wales at any time of the year and it doesn't always rain, there are lots of sunny days in the Spring and Autumn. You will find plenty to keep you busy, heritage railways, my favourite national rail route - Shrewsbury to Pwllheli (the Cambrian Coast Railway), slate museums and the wonderful Portmeirion folly village. I hope you get there one day, I think you will enjoy the experience 🤠🥀🌲🌳🐏🐑.
The west coast of Wales is stunning. If you take the trip drive south from Porthmadog and visit Aberystwyth and the Vale of Rheidol railway. The scenery is fantastic, a bit softer than North Wales but just as beautiful. And it doesn't always rain in Wales, the weather can settle down in summer and then you have the best of everything!
@@ds1868 Hi, I have travelled all over Wales, spending a lot of time in the Brecon Beacons, I've visited both the Brecon Mountain railway and the Vale of Rheidol railway. The Welsh scenery is beautiful where ever you are. The views from Barmouth railway bridge at sunset are world class.
@Timsvideochannel1 totally agree. If you visit Barmouth again, just north of Borth is Ynyslas sands, a conservation area that you can visit and walk the beach. The maram grass in the sand dunes is incredible. It just goes to show that virtually anything can be seen in Wales! Fantastic video by the way, have subscribed.
@@ds1868 Hi, welcome to my channel, I hope you find more videos to watch. I stayed in a guest house at Borth and I've seen the wonderful sands, the Welsh coast is stunning and varied. As a youngster my parents used to take the family to a caravan site at Abererch Sands, happy days. I've been lucky enough to see some beautiful places around the world, but to be honest only New Zealand gets close to matching Wales, but it doesn't have the castles, folklore or the rich history that sets Wales apart. I'm planning on visiting Mid Wales later this year.
So enjoyable! It makes one want to visit Wales. All those beautiful old trees, and so close to the line. Couldn't figure out why there were no windscreen wipers.... than I finally twigged! Please keep these videos coming.
Thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride. Mounting a camera on a lamp bracket at the front of the locomotive in the pouring rain was a bit of a gamble, I didn't think the result would be worth posting to RUclips. I have to say I was surprised that the video came out reasonably OK and the viewing figures made getting absolutely soaked more than worthwhile.

My mother would have loved this. As a six year old, she’d hop on the trolley and ride the whole loop around Pittsburgh for a nickel. The Black conductor refused her nickel since she always had big smiles for him. This train would take near where her grandmother lived.
It is truely a fairytale land with its own myths and legends, even the name Beddgelert 'Gelert's Grave' is a reminder of a tale that brings a tear to many a visitors eye when they learn of the origins of towns name - According to legend, the stone monument in the field marks the resting place of 'Gelert', the faithful hound of the medieval Welsh Prince Llewelyn the Great. The story, as written on the tombstone reads: "In the 13th century Llewelyn, prince of North Wales, had a palace at Beddgelert. One day he went hunting without Gelert, ‘The Faithful Hound’, who was unaccountably absent. On Llewelyn's return the truant, stained and smeared with blood, joyfully sprang to meet his master. The prince alarmed hastened to find his son, and saw the infant's cot empty, the bedclothes and floor covered with blood. The frantic father plunged his sword into the hound's side, thinking it had killed his heir. The dog's dying yell was answered by a child's cry. Llewelyn searched and discovered his boy unharmed, but nearby lay the body of a mighty wolf which Gelert had slain. The prince filled with remorse is said never to have smiled again. He buried Gelert here".

@@davidpearn5925 The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railways have a lot in common with the Puffing Billy Railway, most notably the Garratt locomotives. The Ffestiniog Railway and Puffing Billy both entered preservation around the same time. The wooded area as the Welsh Highland train climbs away from Beddgelert does have a similar feel to it as some of the forests along the Puffing Billy route although the trees are different, both can be regarded as natural and ancient woodland.
Hi, the reaction of animals to passing trains varies from animal to animal, some cows even try to keep pace with the train and dogs chase them, whilst the more timid creatures run and hide. I'm pleased you enjoyed the video.
Hello Tim, it's a pity it rained. But without rain there is no beautiful green landscape like we see in this video. It's a nice video nonetheless. Best regards
Hi, I posted a version of this trip in two parts about 6 years ago. No two trips are the same, the four seasons and variable Welsh weather make sure of that. I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride 😊.
Hi, I'm glad you are enjoyed the Welsh rain, it's the rain that makes Wales the wonderful place that it is. I bet you aren't wearing thermal underwear and a woolly jumper in Australia, it's decidedly cold and wet here in the UK. It's nice to know you enjoyed the video. Cheers. Tim.
I think I once walked through a railway tunnel ... almost certainly Tunnel No 1, north to south, sometime around April 1985, when any prospect of restoring track was in the far distant future, and that bit of trackbed was part of a public footpath.
I walked through tunnel number 1 several times around the same time as your self, there were rumours that an enthusiast group was trying to put the railway back, I never for one moment believed that it would actually happen.
Lovely views of Wales. I've never minded rain. As they say, today's rain is tomorrow's whisky. I like narrow gauge as well.. It feels a bit more personal with a smaller train, maybe more connected to the places we're travelling through. Thanks for posting.
"Today's rain is tomorrow's whisky", that made me smile. Narrow gauge railways are a lot more accessible, health and safety doesn't stop passengers getting a lot closer to the action and narrow gauge railways don't have the same impact on the scenery they pass through.
I wasn't going to post this video to RUclips because of the rain drops, but when I checked it out, I found it surprisingly enjoyable to watch, as a result I did post it and it's nice to know you enjoyed it too.
as a kid, my family (mostly my eldest brother) were involved in some of the earliest parts of this restoration, back when the track was a mile long stretch out of Porthmadog, and I've never yet had opportunity to ride the entire completed route, thank you for this video its fantastic. ETA: well technically what is now the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, I think.
Your brother must have worked with the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, as opposed to the Welsh Highland Railway. The believe that the WHHR laid part of the WHR from Pen-y-Mount Junction to Traeth Mawr Loop, I wonder if your brother worked on that section before it became part of the WHR mainline? I don't know much about the period during which the track was laid to Traeth Mawr Loop, I believe the two railways had a disagreement that soured relationships for a while, I'm glad the two railways are back on friendly terms again. If you get an opportunity to ride the full line I think you will find it a rewarding experience.
How have I lived to be so old without knowing about the "The Forest of Boland Light Railway"?. I've just looked it up and found a number of articles including this one - ruclips.net/video/8btLvwE_Xtw/видео.html Thanks, I'm going to find out more 😊.
Still and always the most beautiful country on Earth, with the most beautiful music, the most beautiful language, and the most fascinating history. I can see why the Welsh settled in Pennsylvania in the US; this is very much like what I see out of my front window most days.
Hi, if this is the view from your front window, you are a lucky person. Two of my favourite places receive a lot of rain, North Wales and the West Coast of New Zealand's, South Island. I've been tempted to visit Pennsylvania and now that I know it is like North Wales I'm even more likely to book a tour. I find the Welsh people very friendly, they love to share tales of the past, whether it be legends and folklore or memories from the days when mining and quarrying were the major industries.

What an excellent surprise! It was not even built last time I looked (I live far far away). The quality of track, route engineering, signal system, all to be proud of. (You need a hot air blower for the cams to get rid of the falling raindrops...) The locos are amazing both in their beautiful appearance and in the evident power installed. I am going to see what the internet has to say. Oh and I loved also the mini Pakistan Railways diesel at Dinas!

Thanks for the ride. I followed the reopening of the line starting with Phase 2. It was nice to see some of the sites that were so well documented by the late Professor, whose name escapes me. His archive is outstanding. Sad that he didn't live to see the railway's completion.
Thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride. In the video Description I have included links to my own videos showing the line during its re-birth and a link to the very useful site hosted by the railway itself. It's always sad when someone who has documented the railway for a number of years doesn't get to see the end result.
You mean the late Ben Fisher, 1963-2009, a sad loss, but the archive he left was invaluable for writing up the story afterwards. His photographs were used for 'Welsh Highland Renaissance' by Gordon Rushton - a book with some misprints and occasional controversial views, but well worth reading and still available from Ffestiniog Railway, Harbour Station, PORTHMADOG LL49 9NF Wales [Great Britain].

Nothing more romantic than these small gauge railways. My 12year old self would have lost his mind seeing this ...
I love these narrow gauge railways, they are friendly and quaint, we are lucky that so many have survived for us to enjoy today.
Love from India bro, your ancestors made me love railways and The small gauges
Same, my 12 year old self would have lost his mind too :D it was only last year I found out my 39 year old self still looses his mind when on a train like this when I went to the Sommerset steam train :D whoops!
This has to be the narrowest guage I've ever seen. It looks like it's well under 1m wide.
I also love narrow gauge railways and there is one near my city its called TREZ (SVK: Trenčianska Elektrická Železnica ENG: Trencin's Electric Railway) its run by non profit organization and they only run thanks to support from our city but unfortunetly you can only ride it durning Summer because Trains arent suitable to ride durning Winter due to missing heating and if tracks are covered with snow because there isnt any Plow at their disposal
Edit: Also it was build in 1909 wich makes it oldest traction line in Central and Eastern Europe

Hello, we are lucky to be able to see so many videos from the driver's point of view on RUclips. I enjoy watching those posted by other creators as much as I enjoy making them myself. I'm pleased you enjoyed this video, I wonder where you will be off to next? 😊
@@Timsvideochannel1 New Zealand 😊 Another one of yours.
I hope you enjoy New Zealand 😊.
It wouldn't be North Wales without the pouring rain.
It's the rain that makes Wales the beautiful place that it is.
Pity about gloomy weather but nothing beats being on d train I wish !
We used to say, it's not rain... its just low cloud.

I couldn't put it better, Wales without rain simply wouldn't be Wales.
Ya but it makes for a crappy video
You know it's Wales with all that rain and lush green vegetation! Lovely video!
Thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride.
Did this route a few years ago and, by good fortune, it was a clear sunny day. Well worth the trip.

Hi, I agree with you that these railways are special whatever the weather, never miss a shot for the lack of a spare memory card is good advice.
Unbelievably beautiful - landscape, nature and the well maintained railway,,, Pure joy!

Jestem z południowej Walii, a moja dziewczyna pochodzi ze Stalowej Woli. Zabrałem ją w tę podróż w zeszłym roku. Bardzo jej się podobał stary pociąg i chce pojechać jeszcze raz w tym roku. 🇵🇱🏴

Cheers, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride, the rain was a challenge, it's also the reason this part of Wales is so beautiful.
Absolutely wonderful ride. Many thanks Tim! 😍👍🏻🙋🏻♀
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the ride 😊.
This is beautiful and really cool to see, it’s the smallest gauge I’ve ever seen in my life. Almost looks like a monorail beam with how narrow it is.
Hi, the track gauge is 1 ft 11 ½ in (597 mm). I'm pleased you enjoyed the video 😊.
@@Timsvideochannel1 I am thinking they must have ballast near the wheels to keep the center of gravity low and thus prevent derailment.
@@miniskunk A low centre of gravity would certainly help.
The production quality is incredible!
Hi, I hope you enjoyed the ride. On the day the weather proved to be a real challenge, when it rains in Wales it rains hard, I thought the day would be a total washout, but I was pleasantly surprise when I started to watch the footage back, it came out way better than I expected.

Thank You very much for uploading this material. Cheers!
Hi, it's nice to know you enjoyed this video. Never been to Wales, to my great shame, but it looks so...
...trying to find a better word than 'wholesome'...
And never mind the rain. Like Billy Connolly once said:
There's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong choice of clothes.
I keep coming back to this one, I really love the rain and the wet sceneries.
That's nice to know 😊.

It's a stunning ride even in the rain. Luckily when I made the same journey last August, the weather was glorious!

Mounting a camera on a lamp bracket at the front of the locomotive in the pouring rain was a bit of a gamble, I didn't think the result would be worth posting to RUclips. 22:50- This whole going into the forest part was very whimsical and beautiful. I'm glad it lasted so long! It truly is faerie land.
The story, as written on the tombstone reads:
"In the 13th century Llewelyn, prince of North Wales, had a palace at Beddgelert.
@@Timsvideochannel1 Oh no, my heart. What an terrible thing. It teaches us a valuable lesson on how to NEVER assume and to guard our anger at all times. Our anger blinds us to the truth. 😢

Narrow gauge railways are a lot more accessible, health and safety doesn't stop passengers getting a lot closer to the action and narrow gauge railways don't have the same impact on the scenery they pass through.

as a kid, my family (mostly my eldest brother) were involved in some of the earliest parts of this restoration, back when the track was a mile long stretch out of Porthmadog, and I've never yet had opportunity to ride the entire completed route, thank you for this video its fantastic.

North Wales is home to a number of fascinating narrow gauge railways, all of them well worth visiting, if you do make it there, I'm sure you will enjoy the experience, both the landscape and the coastline are very scenic.
Amazing video, nice nature surroundig the track
Thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride.
No matter what full trip video of train ventures we can watch, its mind boggling of how long it must have taken to install hundreds of miles of track and this is just one line.
I watched some of this railway being relaid after being closed and lifted well over half a century ago and I can assure you it's back breaking work, we owe the volunteers who bought this railway back to life a massive thank you.
Very nice trip through the north of Wales. Thanks.
Thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride 😊.
The land is beautiful, but narrow g looks funny to me.
Thank you for posting this!❤
Hi, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride and it always surprises me that such large locomotives can run safely on a gauge as small as 1ft 11 ½ ins (597mm)
What a wonderful restoration
The people who restored this railway deserve a massive thank you for all they have achieved in restoring this wonderful railway, making it possible to once again ride the train from Porthmadog to Caernarfon.
It’s sooo green! I love it!
Wales is a genuine green and pleasant land, whether it’s raining or sunny, it's always beautiful.
Need to red pen this whole route next year, good to see the Glaslyn well up through the pass ❤ great video 👍
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the ride 😊.
What an excellent surprise! It was not even built last time I looked (I live far far away). The quality of track, route engineering, signal system, all to be proud of.
(You need a hot air blower for the cams to get rid of the falling raindrops...)
The locos are amazing both in their beautiful appearance and in the evident power installed.
I am going to see what the internet has to say.
Oh and I loved also the mini Pakistan Railways diesel at Dinas!
Hello, I used to walk the track bed when the line was closed dreaming of how the railway must have looked before the tracks were lifted and nature reclaimed the route. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever image that one day I'd be able to ride the railway!!!! Even on a rainy day it is a wonderful journey and the railway is operated using an interesting fleet of locomotives from many locations around the globe.
Amazing rail shots
Thanks, I'm pleased you enjoyed it.
Its so pleasant to watch. I enjoyed it. I would like to visit the place someday personally
Thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride and I hope you do get to visit one day, Wales has a lot to offer.
Very beautiful. Now I want to go to Wales😊. And that gage is so narrow! It looked like a toy train to me! 😂 Cheers from a Yank!😊
Hello, Wales is one of the best places in the world to see and ride behind narrow gauge steam locomotives, I hope you get there some day. Cheers from the UK 😊.
Great video once again Tim. How you create such cool entertainment I don't know , but keep doing it All being well I will be back to NZ for a 3 or 4 week trip. Cheers mate
Hello Paul, I'm glad you enjoyed the ride, I'll be visiting Australia and New Zealand for most of this month, just a couple of days left before I fly out. All the best. Tim.
A beautiful, spectacular trip
Thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed the ride.
Fabulous Journey.... Take Love from India 🇮🇳
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the ride. Best wishes from the UK.
@@peterjarvis9367 Thank you, that's useful to know.
Good stuff.
Stormy weather happening this weekend.
Hello, I'm pleased you enjoyed the video, it looks as though much of the UK is in for heavy rain this weekend.
