So I only just found the model number attached to this watch, so have updated those details in the description, apologies for not finding it before but I did look and look. Better late than never I suppose 👍👍
Honestly, if you want to see what it will feel on your wrist and not ready to get one go homage and save the cash until you feel comfortable getting the real thing or if you just want a beater watch that you'll give zero care for 😆

I bought these 3 too and added the beige one based on the Longines heritage military. I'm still waiting for the 4 to arrive. How has your experience been? From the reviews I've seen, I'm very optimistic. I also bought a wide variety of straps to exchange the original black ones for brown ones. We Will see haha 😅
Just bought one based on this review, I have many field watches and love the white dial and the closeness to the O.G.. Will be interesting to see if I can fit the buckle to another strap, a leather brown nato, that would look awesome

Great review of a very nice watch 👍. I compared this to the Berny field watches at a very similar price. Berny have titanium and sapphire but only 50m WR and push in crown. I like the Escapement time 100m WR and screw in crown (better than Hamilton) mineral crystal doesn't worry, but in the end it was the Sinn style full lume dial that persuaded me to buy the Berny.

40 quid man.. An absolute steal with the VK31 lovely sweep... That blasted surface doesn't always grab me though. Seems to work here but, it can look horrendous on others
It sure is mate. For the money, it’s really hard to find fault in it and yes, sometimes the finishing can be hit and miss 👍👍
I would pay a little more for a mechanical one, but this one is a cracker. I’m glad it exists for people cannot or will not pay more. The Addiesdive version is mechanical and price is mental for how much watch you get. You British and Scottish reviewers are completely changing my vocabulary BTW. 🤔

That's a very decent watch Simon. It looks very small in your hand, like a 36mm instead of it's actual size, 38mm. I went on a spree last week. Spur of the moment I got the new black dial Seiko field GMT at Stuttgart airport. 4 hour delays can be very expensive. Lol. €403, not a big discount, maybe €40 I think. It's very nice, but couldn't decide on white or black. Then I got a Corgeut Instagram ad for the white dial explorer GMT homage, an updated 3002 - 2 version with the same NH34 in it. Should arrive in the next week or two, it'll be interesting to compare them. Of course the Seiko has hardlex and a pressed clasp and the corgeut has sapphire and a milled clasp and now a glide lock adjustment ! I'm wondering will I feel sorry I got the Seiko !😂. I'll see when it arrives !

A great watch. I have the black faced Hamilton and black faced Escapement time. The Hamilton looks that bit more premium up close and better, however I wear and enjoy them both equally plus to be honest there’s no shame wearing the lesser watch.

Well, I think it’s a little better than the original: no service needed ( which can be rather expensive) other than replacing the battery every other year, and a screw-down crown that gives you some peace of mind, if not more. Just ordered one, thanks!

Nice review, thanks! I bought the black version some months ago, and some time later the white one. These are really great. I think the white one looks especially good on a brown vintage leather strap.
I bought it initially to try out if the Hamilton fits me - it does - but now I don't see any reason why I should buy it 😂 (it's way overpriced anyway)

I've got the hamilton and the escapement time. I haven't worn the hamilton since I got this. More accurate by a long shot and better water resistance. If I had bought this first I probably never would have bought the hamilton.
Great looks & great value. I feel 'Escapement Time' in script looks out of place (yes I know it's ET's logo) a simple sans serif font would better fit the field/military character (JMO). I would like to have you show it on a leather strap, khaki or cognac color. No sapphire crystal but for $40 that's acceptable. It will make a nice 'stocking stuffer' for our non-enthuiast watch friends.

Love it !!! got the black dial variant due to legability...IF it had drilled lugs n sapphire n maybe charge a lil more this would be the perfect homage...Tbh i think its still the best homage to date .... Maybe ditch the full brand name n put E.T. ON DIAL too.. now the nato is perfect colour matched just very short if you have over 6" wrists...maybe longer 280 300 mm be fine .... Great review...
