I own the Hitori habuka with a white dial and the quality is on another level.Luckily i bought it online for only 150 quid through a private seller and it was unworn abd and to say im happy with it is an understatement.Great video as always keep up the good work 👍

I like the color, but not necessarily the texture. It almost looks like the bark on a tree. Very prominent bark. At around $350 price point, this might be a buy, but at $500+...There are lots of better watches (for me) for that kind of money.

Of all the rolex designs you can keep your subs,yatch masters,sea dwellers,daytonas etc ....give me an air king,milgauss or explorer anytime

Well I have to concur - That is one beautiful watch. It appears to have the quality of QUALITY .. and not a bezel in sight. - A slight 'Pants' from me might be that the date window reduces the "purity" of that face but only a little. I'd consider one.

I like the not outlined date window but wish they used a black with white number date wheel.

Seriously beautiful looking watch, with gorgeous attention to detail. Love the gold Japanese characters, textured dial, and sumptuous case design. However, as good a workhorse movement as the NH35 is, it's still a $25 movement in a $500+ watch, so I'm not quite sure how they justify that kind of overall price, which is just a bit too steep. It's the only off putting aspect of the watch IMO.

Agree it's a beautiful watch and the dial, & overall finish is fantastic no question. Given the movement I would have hoped for sub £300. Also I'm not a fan of the logo on the face as too big & noticable. Many thank for a great & informative review.

A really nice watch, but the white YOSHINO AUTOMATIC text looks cheap. Also, NH35 at this price is a bit too much. Thanks for the review 👍

Isn't minute hand a bit to narrow comparing to hour hand? Just to be picky.

Maybe it's just the macro footage but to my eye the dial texture looks too coarse.

Excellent channel on RUclips .. I am a San Martin watch collector and just recently ordered the San Martin SN0116 in the green avocado. This color theme in purple however I can’t feel it for my taste.. Thank you friend for the great channel that is easy to listen to with a friendly approach and without the hype,the focus I have noticed by other watch channels and reviews are more about the host and not the watch to be reviewed.

I own this one for a while now, been wearing it non stop. It’s ridiculous how cheap this one is when I compare it to my actual BB (I had that one gifted to me by my gf). It really makes you wonder where the extra £2k comes from because I really can’t spot a quality difference. The bracelet itself even wears better on the Contra.

Nice looker and seems very well made. The QC issue is a shame and is unacceptable at any price in my book.

Very nice looking watch Simon. It does have a BB look about it but also like a Hamilton I saw a chap wearing on holiday in the Caucasus Mountains last week. He actually noticed my Orient Mako XL and said , you're definitely a watch guy !lol. Then he showed me his Hamilton diver, 300m water resistance, don't know the model unfortunately but really beautiful and looking a lot like this. Excellent video as ever mate !

I ordered the charcoal blue. Why though did they limit it to only two colours. Should be at least a third colour choice.

nice review ...But at this price point the watch needs some "bubble wrap" , cushion and a simple box. no need to a fancy pretentious box on a sub £400 watch. The money saved would be £20 retail and part of that could go towards sorting out the pip lume issue

I just bought it yesterday 73€ shipped to greece. Thank you for the nice and honest review. I am not much in to homage watches but i really like the Seiko tictac but can not justify for it 450€ + taxes and import fees to order from Japan. And since it is not a widely recognized watch i pulled the trigger, mostly driven by the really low price and the fact that always wanted to see how an oyster case shape feels on th wrist.
