Great video, very accurate analysis. In my 4.5 years in the game as a watch collector and enthusiast, I collected a lot from MaMaCoo I was thinking I was able to get a blue SD but I'm not vip enough, but I'm not giving up. Hehe. Great video.
The specifications and finishing for the money is terrific. I especially like the white dial blue bezel. I’m pretty sure Tudor doesn’t have that color combination. I may be wrong though. Thanks for the great review.
This is now my favourite watch channel on RUclips , such great content and done superbly, well done sir and I got my favourite watch at MaMaCoo, it hasn’t left my wrist for weeks
Am glad you like it mate and there isn’t anything wrong with the NH series of movements at all, I’d just like to see the correct movement in each watch; date and no date etc 👍👍
I’ve been looking at many of these brands homaging this watch for some time now. I even own the San Martin “Burgundy “ one (more like a red ceramic bezel, which I like just fine) but somehow it didn’t scratch the itch. This Addiesdive does look real close to the real thing for less. That jubilee bracelet and the aluminum bezel work great but I absolutely love that domed glass, even with that on your face blue AR coating. Thanks for the video, as usual. I’ll do my Sunday visit to the AliE app with a purpose. Should I go get my wallet as well? We’ll see.
Great review 👍. The nh35 is all the movement anyone needs, they are very easy to regulate, so they can always be as accurate as you want and they are so inexpensive there is no need to worry about servicing, just buy a new movement and swap the dial and hands. My main issue with this watch is the blue AR, I would prefer reflections to the blue.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
Yep, a banger for sure! I have the San Martin equivalent with the burgundy aluminum insert... just a fantastic watch! I got it used on Mercari but didn't look worn or resized. Also grabbed one of the Watchdives WD7922s on sale which is their quartz version. Definitely thinner at 11.something thick. Great grab-and-go but the normal price is like $110 or $120 USD so short of a sale, the Addiesdive is definitely a better value. Definitely loving the burgundy aluminum inserts lately.
I think they have one of the best logos in all the watch world. The crossed spear guns represents a protest against mans hunting of marine life and untamed exploitation of the sea.
The nh35 I have in numerous watches have never let me down, To call it a crap movement is pure snobbery, Hacking, hand wind/auto winds and better accuracy than the price suggests, My Addiesdive/steeldive watches all beaters knock the crown jewels of all the high street rubbish for the same money
I completely agree mate. These watches can’t be beaten on price and on the high street you’d spend many times the price, many times for an inferior watch 👍👍
My 1st nh35 would be +40s one day and -15s the next, within spec but crap. I bought another movement to see if it's any better, it was, I fitted it in to the watch which gained 7s in 9 days and was consistant. The amplitude was very low on the 1st one so I'm guessing the quality control isn't all that great which is why the specs are so broad. My brother bought a Seiko about the same time with a 4r movement in and it is just as bad as mine so it doesn't get worn. An SW200-1 is if I remember right supposed to be +/-12s / day but mine is consitantly +2to3s/day
I've had 4 watches with nh35 movement and to me, they're all in fact crap... I gave up on that movement because it is so shit. All of them are -40 secs a day...
@@MarkDanger777Not at all trolling or being disrespectful. I have 2 watches w NH 35 & they run sub 10 seconds, either way. And I think they wind smoother than my Zelos w a Miyota 9075. Cheers!
Im going to purchase this but that aluminium bezel will be prone to scratches? Its my only doubt Nice content and videos Greetings from Chile South America
On a watch with a protruding crystal an aluminium bezel insert is pretty well protected. On, for example, the Orient Kamasu the aluminium bezel protrudes above the flat crystal, this is, imo, a design flaw. Everything that makes contact with the face of the watch hits the bezel and damages the aluminium bezel insert. On this Addiesdive I think you have nothing to fear but fear itself.
I have a couple NH35 powered watches. 2 in my Invictas and one in a homage. They all have been stopping a couple hours after wearing them; maybe around 12 hours or so. The watches are only a couple of months old. I find that the PT5000 is a better movement and so are my ETA and ETA based movements.
Sorry to hear that mate. I can’t say I’ve had that problem with any NH movement I’ve had but that definitely isn’t good enough. I do like the PT5000 also and other ETA clones 👍👍
@@WatchtheTime I'm not sure what could be causing this issue. I have a watch winder and they seem to hate it. Once again, the ETA 2824 is fine but my NH35s aren't having a good time. I hope I can figure out what the problem might be.
The thickness is a dealbreaker for me, especially due to the case back. Watch dives has a similar offering, just over 11mm thick. Its a quartz vh31, but alas no jubilee. Now I do nothing.
Nice review. I was eyeing this watch when it was first released on Ali. I've been considering the Corgeut and Thorn in 39mm but this seems to be better quality. Unfortunately it is 14mm thick.
I have one Steeldive (the Willard clone) & its nh35 runs GREAT. Slow by about 10 seconds a day. Not bad at all. The best thing about the nh35 is that you never need to service it. If something goes wrong, just drop a new one in 👍

Im focused to find a small watch. I want something as San Martin "AquaTerra" but slimmer and smaller. 36-37mm and 10mm (case + glass), around 44-45mm lug to lug.
My experience with the NH35 movements is that they lose around 20 secs a day- a minute every three days. For me, this is a little too much. This is not snobbery, this is purely me wanting something a little bit more accurate. SM are raising the game with Miyota movements. Yes you pay more, but expectations are rising all the time.
I can’t say I’ve had similar experiences with NH movements tbh, but I’m sorry to hear you have, that’s not good enjoy. High beat Miyota movements are the way to go for sure 👍👍
I have a real SUB but I also bought one of these replicas from amzwatch for piece of mind if I go to another country or if I am doing activities that can damage the watch. I don't see anything wrong with that.
The NH 35 is a solid movement. It's just a matter of regulation. I currently have 2 watches with this movement. I've regulated them both to run at +6 to 7 seconds per day, on a full wind in the dial up position. This means that if I put the watch on in the morning and it's accurate to the second, when I take it off in the evening it'll be around 3 seconds slow. It then goes in my watch box overnight in the dial up position. When I get up in the morning the watch will probably be around 2 seconds or so fast. It's all about balance and wearing patterns.
For sure mate. I think many people are thinking that I mentioned the ghost position in ‘pants’ as I don’t like the NH35? I really like the NH series of movements but am getting fed up of companies that sell many, many units not using appropriate movements for that watch 👍👍
Agreed. The movement should be appropriate for the watch that it's housed in. The problem is that companies buy bulk batches of movements so the unit price is extremely low. They will then use them for everything. I wasn't having a poke at you mate. My comment was more for the 'watch snobs' who think that the NH 35 is crap. It isn't. A well regulated nh35 will run for years without issue. Keep up the good work. 👍

I think the NH35 is a victim of its own success. It can't really be beat for the price (reliable, pretty accurate, etc) so is super common; and there is perhaps a tendency to assume something that common isn't good.
