Both Lincoln machines have industry leading design. They are more compact in size and leave more room in the truck bed or work area. Set up with the LED interface is simple. One concern customers have had is the reliability/durability of the screen. We have visited the Lincoln Electric testing center where they expose the machines to outdoor elements and test. The screens can withstand normal weather and elements with no issues. Noise is a big deal for safety and comfort while working and they are both up to 31% quieter than the average engine drive.
Ready. Set. Weld -- This is on both units and is specific Lincoln Electric technology to simplify the set up. It gives you the Lincoln Electric expert's recommended settings reducing the time for set up.
Chopper Technology - This improves arc control. It helps to provide easy starts, smooth arc, and reduces spatter. Basically it is the simplest form of high frequency power conversion. A chopper is composed of a transistor switch and a diode. DC input power is “chopped” to a lower output voltage, and a choke is placed in the path of the output to smooth current variation.
CrossLinc- This is basically full control at the weld with less cables. Adjust voltage at the feeder without the need for an additional control cable. Increased productivity, safety and control while welding.

Do the mpx welders have an eco mode for running as a generator?
Where do you conecta the gas tank on the 260mpx?

On the 260 how big of a rod can you burn? I weld tank and we burn 3/16 jet and 3/16 5p 6010

If purchasing a 330 for periodic welding use and mainly for backup power are these ok sitting for longer periods of time or do they need periodic runs?

Even if the 260 does not have a arc gouge setting could it still run it? I don’t see why not
Always heard you don’t wanna even try arc gouging if you can’t hit 300 amps
Don’t think it has enough amps but their are other ways to do the same thing
The similar sized bobcats had different windings than the trailblazers. Trailblazers can gouge all day, bobcats will burn up when used to gouge even though they have the amps. Not sure if Lincoln did the same thing with their machines?
which is the more convenient to change oil?

No you can not do downhill pipe
I think the 330 mxp has down hand pipe mode
It wouldn’t be a problem if you had something else to test with...I know some inspectors that would fail you just because it’s not an SA or Big blue.

Miller pipe pros are starting to be on the line last i heard. Now with this pandemic the sa200s are coming back
260 does not have arc options including hot start and arc force.

Have ranger newer generation that I'm going to sell having these companies sell machines with intentional failure point Is joke both linclon n Kohler linclon there board problems n Kohler for unnecessary designs sucks being a moblie welder n having dumb issues with designs being the problem so far miller has been working out for me so I'm sticking to that now
