Love that. Brian saying he’s going to be fine one day as Cole is swinging in the gate like a 5 year old!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You two men are awesome. Thank you for sharing

Cole man, your CLEAN mother doesn't have bed bugs in her nice home. U say that & U gonna end strung up in the tractor shed !!! What u got is little- bitsy biting spiders. All ranches/farms get 'em this time of year.🍁🍁🇨🇦

Did it in the winter time with wet slushy snow on the ground , and the old gray Lincoln welder though. Thought the Rubber overshoes and leather welding gloves would insulate me enough until I drop down on one knee to get the bottom rod Fastener welded. Well Son, it aint no roll of dimes, but its better than I can do. Most of my welds look like grapes. Ya done a good job Festus, keep up the good work. And by the way, I love my beef.
Cole them are some nice gates, you may have to build some to sell in the store. This is my welding story. When I was in high school in machine shop class one day I was welding on something in the floor with a stick welder and this boy in class keep sneaking up to me and heating my britches leg up with a cigarette lighter. I told him to quit two or three times and he didn’t. That’s where he messed up! The next time I felt my leg heat up, I flipped my helmet back and he was standing in front of me. I took that Hot welding rod and poked him hard with it between his belt and his privates. It burnt a hole through his britches and underwear. Branded him right then and there. He wanted to fight, but I told him I had warned him to leave me alone. He never bothered me again after that. That’s all I got to say about that. Your dad looked so proud at how the gates looked. Hope they work well for y’all. Thanks for the videos
Says "Whos gonna make fun of my knee pads" then persists to weld between his legs like he's looking at a mole he found that is worrying him! LOL love it
Brian wins with the subtle "Tommy Boy" reference... "Not so much here, or here... But riiiight here" Unrelated to that, Cole talking about eating beef for lunch made me think of that old beef commercial that said "beef, it's what's for dinner." I always felt like they were under selling beef. They should have said "beef, enjoy eating it with every meal!" Or something along those lines. 😂👍 Talk about a missed opportunity. 🤷♂️
Hey Cole you are healing so amazingly quick, kneeling down on that new knee. I’m 18 mths into a knee replacement and I can’t kneel at all. Your are in your 20s me in my 80s, could be the reason 🤣😂😂 Love your farm videos very cool welding 😎😎
Nice corrals. Nice gates. Good job young Sonne. Old man trick: a 5 gallon bucket, or a milk crate is a great seat to steady yourself for low work. Probably doesn't translate very tough, but it's necessary for me nowadays. Maybe Lincoln will gift you a nice nomex gauntlet jacket? That'd be sweet.
Hey Cole, here is a suggestion for a winter project. Build your self some steel saw horses with flat tops that you can clamp stuff to. It will be a lot easier to work standing up than bending over to the floor. When i started my first cabinet shop, the first thing i did was build a bunch of sturdy saw horses to build stuff on. I also use a big assembly table. The saw horse idea migh be better, you can stack them out of the way when not in use, you could also get an airless sprayer and prime them with rust proof primer while they are on the horses.
Cole: when you were tell your Dad about the Bed Bugs and said it was time to move out, I saw a big smile on your Dad's face. Also when Dad asked at the end about the difference in the height of the 2 gates meeting together and asked "What's this about" Your reply should have been "about 1.5 inches" Great vlog and excellent welding skills 👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome gates and now I want to paint them........LOL LOL Seriously they look awesome and will work well. They look strong as can be. Reminds me of when my husband used to weld for a job in his youth and came home with burned eyes from the welder. Add custom built "Cole" built gates to your new farm store. Much easier to build the exact dimension gate to specific farm field application, then to modify factory built gates. Could be a very profitable service and product to add to your farm store.
I was going to ask if the gates are strong enough for your niece and nephew to swing on, and then there you go, swinging across my screen. Thanks for another great video.
I would recommend drilling a hole in each hinge and putting a grease zerk in there, all our gates have grease zerks and it’s keeps the gates moving a lot smoother longer
