I really didn’t expect to cry like a baby but it hit me on the left side pigeon pose. Your words carry so much healing, for some of us it’s the first time we’ve felt like we are allowed to make conscious choices as to what feels good to us and our bodies. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

Reminder for anyone who needs it, you dont have to soley breathe in and out of your nose, and your exhales can be audible. I have practiced yoga for 10 years and a lot of teachers emphasize breathing through your nose, but ive noticed that i often hold back my exhales when its constricted through my nostrils. Let out a moan in your sigh of relief, it feels so good to let out that stored trauma. You are safe, you are loved, you are worthy! Keep up the great work, youre doing amazing things for yourself 🥰

I was abused by my mother my whole childhood and you say words, that just speak directly to my soul... and when you connect that with the movement and stretches it is an amazing experience. I read a couple comments, scoffed a bit at the ones that mentioned crying, and started the video... And then **I** started crying during pigeon, which has certainly never happened to me before!! It is wild! I will definitely come back to this, and am now subscribed.

My hips and low back have been very tight. I've been experiencing anxiety that manifests in my hips especially at night. MRIs and x-rays don't show a lot of abnormality. I'm constantly trying to figure out what to do to help my body relax. When you mentioned not trying to fix but just observe, that meant so much to hear. With the first circling movement of my right hip, I cried and have no idea why! Thank you for this video.

The one thing all traumatized individuals have in common is feeling the lack of choice and safety. To constantly Bering attention to this creates a renewed sense of empowerment. I bawled my eyes out as soon as I got to the pigeon poses, both times. I’ve been having hip pain for so long and didn’t learn until recently that body pain can be caused by trauma. There’s something about the left side that didn’t feel ready to be released and I’m still having some pain there, so I’ll probably have to come back to this and cry again 😭 thank you so much for this.

I am newer to practicing. This was my first time finding your channel and I’m glad I did. Your voice is so calming and relaxing. I love that you give us reassurance if we need to stop and move into another position or stay longer to feel out the release. I’ll be back to this video daily for hip releases. Definitely hit me after the practice ended and it was well needed.

Thank you so much! I didn't even realize my hips needed that, but now they feel soooo relaxed. And the way you kept reminding that I have choice wether I want to end or not, that really helped a lot with emotions and toxic thoughts which I had during the exercises. And also breathing and your calm voice were supporting me all the video and I didn't even notice that we're done. So thank you so so much!

You have a soothing voice which is very helpful in your guidance of these poses. I do have one suggestion, it’s difficult to distinguish between the black mat and your black yoga pants, your legs get lost in the lack of contrast. Either have a different color mat or yoga pants. Much gratitude🙏

I have practiced yin and other yoga styles for over 20 years. I am also a Reiki practitioner and have a complex autoimmune disease and deal with a lot of joint pain and chronic fatigue. I stumbled upon you on YT and am so glad I did. I really loved this gentle healing practice and for me, a lot came up with my hips. As a Reiki practitioner, I understand how much trauma and emotions we store for decades in our bodies. Look forward to trying out more of your video classes. Namaste. 🙏🫶🙌✨️

Oh, wow! I did this yesterday before going to deal with a difficult situation. I didn't notice anything come up. I forgot about the yoga. Today I was overcome with waves of emotions and cried a few times. I didn't understand why until I remembered that I did this yesterday. Now, I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to feel and release these deep emotions that have been stuck. I feel there is more processing to do and I am glad for it to heal. I know I begin to feel more whole.

I did this sensation all the way through and I tell you that it felt amazing on my hips. I found I was clenching my teeth, I switched to some open mouth breath work it was awesome. It wasn't until the end of the session when I got emotional. It was actually aa really awesome experience and most of the time I can barely sit through a video like this but her voice is sooo soothing and I found myself really into this.

Fabulous video. I didn’t experience an emotional release this time but found it to be so therapeutic and I was breathing! I realized recently that my breath is shallow and sometimes I’m so tense or stressed I think I may be holding it at times. On my way to her page to subscribe. Thank you for this 🙏🏼

I was hesitant to start the session but once I did i released why. My hips felt so tense and while taking my breaths, I felt so many knots all over. I felt a rush of anger, and pain and I wanted to cry. I feel lighter after but I know that I need to continue with this practice and explore more of where this tension comes from.

Thank you for this. I experienced a profound release after the session. Towards the end of the video I noticed my legs shaking quite dramatically, once it finished I lay on my back and just let my body move. What followed enabled me to get in touch with a traumatic memory and move through it to fight and then rest.

Thank you very much - great session❣ I noticed that by taking the time to really feel and explore the tension in my hips the pain and strain there started to feel almost pleasurable. By giving up all goals of "stretching" and "achieving s.th." I started to feel pleasure and the begining of a beautiful energetic flow. 🥰 Just one suggestion: Perhaps the possibility to do the reclined pigeon pose should be offered for people who have trouble with the forward pigeon because of knee problems. 💕

This was absolutely fantastic and will absolutely become a part of my yoga rotation. Hannah has such a kind and calming energy, and her approach to yoga is inclusive and professional. I love how she invites the yogis to take part in each movement and never makes me feel like I should be doing a certain thing at a certain time. She lets us know that our body needs different things at different times. I didn't feel rushed at all, which I love--most videos I've watched so far don't hold poses for a significant amount of time. This felt so restorative for mind AND hips. Thanks Hannah!!
