I didn’t order it during the pandemic. The first one I bought in 2017 came in within 2 weeks during Thanksgiving week. Then the second one I ordered last year in 2019 came in within a week. I think from what I’ve seen people have been waiting about 3 weeks during the pandemic when they order one.
basically: if you treat it like a $200 controller, it will most likely last. the only thing that is bound to break eventually is the scuf sticks, which if you purchase the ps4 sticks (on impact) you won't even have to worry as much about. I love scuf, and will always do.
From what I noticed the scuf sticks are much better quality now. I put them into my regular dual shocks because they’re slightly taller and I don’t like Kontrol Freeks anymore
This honestly helped me decide to get one because everyone always say they break easily and they’re too expensive but in the long run it’ll be worth it to improve my skill
What I learned from comments on Scufs insta, the people that buy them never really research the controllers capabilities, me however, I refuse to spend £200+ on a controller, I have had a grand total of three that I bought cheap to fix and sell on and use for a few weeks to learn how they operate and survive day to day abuse, and they're very easy to work on the 4PS once you've got the muscle memory on how far you can move the back to unclip its flex ribbons.. the fanbase seem to treat them like a stock controller and leave them on presets.. I'm a bit scared as I bought a faulty Impact and they have a lot more working parts inside. Might end up making videos about repairing these and doing board swaps on these as I have good experiences with the older generation controllers..
I bought the scuf impact the other day and it comes in the next few days, I’m exited to use it as it’s my first time using one. Oh and I went with all black design with white buttons and white outer ring around the analogues.
@@DylanQuitoriano I can’t get used to it at all lmao. I’ve had to remove the 2 inner paddles on the back. The thumb sticks are a little bit too high compared to what I’m used to. I might give it away to be honest and get an Xbox one scuf 🥺

And if u see my post please answer this question. Were you an agressive COD player or just a normal COD player and chill with the controller?
My second Scuf lasted less than 6 months before I got stuck drift. The first one I have is still going strong even tho I do not play games as much as I used to. The standard don’t sticks last much longer imo
I'm having some problems with my thumbsticks whenever I put the ring on them and lock them in place they get really stiff and gets stuck in different places where I move them. Anyone else having this problem?
@@DylanQuitoriano I've had the controller for over 6 months now. I've tried 3 different rings and different thumbstick as well but the same thing happened.
I never had stick drift on it. But there’s a reset button on the control and make sure your PS4 is off completely and press it for five seconds with the tip of a paper clip. That will usually help with any control

Cxrdzz in the end it’s your money and I’m glad I helped. It still works fine today but I just order another one because the sticks are really loose

Really agressive mostly. I've always had a tendency to mash the buttons and paddles lmao

Is the micro USB slot compatible with just any micro USB around the house? Or does the bulky plastic around the slot force you to use a certain cable?

How old is the control and rings. Also the sticks may not be pushed down all the way. They’re really stiff if they’re new

Yes, just use a magnet. I use the tiny magnet on the speaker tag from my Astro A40s
