I llearned to do this back in the 1970s with my 1970s Elna Lotus TSP. In 2011 I got my first computerized embroidery machine. I love the look and process of both art forms.
I see the value of computerized machines but I'm just not interested in watching the machine doing the job alone. Also I like the look of the FME better because is closer to hand embroidery!
Oh boy, I have a very old Sears sewing machine heavy-duty to make purses. I'm going to try this. I'm excited I just found u on here. 😅😅😅❤❤❤ I'm 75 and ready to learn something new. Yippee
i randomly got a used 20$ kiddy brother sewing machine while in college for Visual Arts and decided to try the free motion embroidery on my clay paintings and paper and it was so much fun. this definitely encourages me to try again! thanks
Thank you very much🍀 I have an old singer at home and was wondering how on earth i could make letters on my daughters Judo uniform. I'll need to get the plastic cover since it isn't part of the machine.
Can this be done with modern sewing machines? Is there something special about an old one that makes this possible, or was she just making a point that even a really old machine can do it.
I'm not familiar with that machine, sorry. You should follow the embroidery channels from India. There are amazing artists out there and they might me able to give you a good answer. Good luck!
