- Happy Sunday everyone I hope you are having a relaxing weekend?
I wanted to show you how I make my freemotion flowers in various designs. I drew rough circles onto Bondaweb and fused each one to the wrong side of a pastel coloured cotton fabric.
I then cut them out, peeled off the backing paper and fixed them to some white cotton for the background.
I lowered the feed-dogs, changed to a freemotion foot and put some stabiliser under the fabric and off I go, totally freehand and creative.
Hope you enjoy my little demo. lots more to follow 🧵🧵🧵

These are beautiful. You must have spent so much time perfecting your technique. I can only dream of getting anywhere near so accomplished!

How i can doing that,is it the machine with special stufff, bcause my sewing machine can’t did that,I’m a beginner
hi, you don't need a special machine. As long as you can lower or cover the feed-dogs you are free to move the fabric as you wish.. side to side back to front! Put a stabiliser under it such as Sulky or Stitch'n'tear. I use 100% polyester thread. You just need a freemotion or darning foot you can get universal ones on Amazon. Happy sewing ! 😀
