The Bilsteins make for a tight ride, aka, it still rides like a school bus. But, for a 5000 lb vehicle, it can absolutely cut a corner. But it is not a soft ride lol.
Switching over from run flats to regular tires (Continental DSW06) made a big difference in the ride quality. I would do that first before changing the strut.
I don't know it but you can find it on realoem.com for sure. My passenger side bolt broke when I removed it and I had to drill out the rest of it. I didn't rethread the hole either. I just used a nut on the backside. I have a video on that as well.
the moment you say, “I enjoy this “spring compression part while on board says it all. probably the best way to do it.
Haha
Great vid super descriptive! Thanks for making this
Thanks Declan!
Awesome vid, good tips and very informative! How did you like the new Bilsteins on it? My E70 rides like a school bus.

what struts/shocks would you reccomend if i prioritize comfort over handling? thank you!
I would say go with original BMW shocks for that. To be transparent I only have experience with BMW and Bilstein on this vehicle.
