Yes. I don't need to bring every part of myself into everything that I do. I'm a compartmentalizer, so this point has always made sense to me but it sounds "inauthentic" to others. But why? I'm multifaceted. 🤷🏽♀️
You are so good with your words. I vehemently agree with you. I'm so glad I am already applying some advice in my day-today life. I'm really on the right path. Thank you
Your audacity video literally helped in catapulting my life into what it is becoming. I shaved my head and shed away all expectations. I am able to show up for myself now and have no shame about anything I post. I have found my purpose to help others find happiness. I look forward to watching this video, but I thought I'd quickly comment in hopes you will see this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are the match! 🔥
Wow. I’m so happy for you and grateful that I could be a part of your journey even if it was just a final push towards what you already knew and have been working on. You are so welcome, thank you ❤️
What!?!? It's so suprising to hear how you feel about your written communication skills because you're such an eloquent and inspiring speaker here on RUclips. I guess it goes back to the idea of self perception because I perceive that doubt in myself too, but for speaking to others in speeches or formal settings. Either way, Im happy to hear that you're pushing forward in your goals regardless and I love your videos - they motivate me! ❤❤❤
this video came right on time for me. I was literally thinking about my identity this morning and I saw this video. I watched entire video. Thank you for the work you do please keep it up.
I think these tips were valuable. I haven’t had a chance to tap in with your content in a little minute, but I’m happy to be back. Becoming more articulate is something I’m progressing towards-slowing down is a wonderful reminder!
I get to feel very tensed, uneased and uncomfortable talking to strangers or in a formal setting, that i get to do it all wrong even if i literally know what to say...
It's a great question, I don't read books specifically on articulation (although I am reading a book on branding at the moment which is more about communicating your value- it's called "Building a Story Brand"). I usually watch people for that purpose. However, I have read a lot over the years. I find a good mix of fiction and non fiction is usually a great option if you're seeking to expand your vocabulary. The exact book doesn't matter but the more you read the more exposure you'll have to a wider vocabulary and communication styles ❤️
Hey Adama 💕 great content as always. Have you read the book “the courage to be disliked”? I highly recommend it and curious about your thoughts on it if you decide to read it.
I did not realize I had this problem until a few months ago, this helps immensely! Becoming more self-aware, makes me crave advice like this.
It's so interesting when you realise it! I'm glad this helps ❤️
