The Secret to Making THE CRISPIEST Air Fryer French Fries

Ingredients:
1 russet potato
2-3 cups very hot water
1-2 tsp olive oil
For ranch seasoning:
1 1/2 tsp dill
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp onion powder
Directions:
Cut potato into french fry shapes, the most important part is that you keep them even. Place in a large bowl and cover with hot water. Let them soak for 10 min to get rid of extra starch. The hot water gives them an extra head start for cooking.
Drain them and dry the potatoes thoroughly. Drizzle with 1-2 tsp olive oil and season. Toss to coat. Place them in a single layer, as best as possible, in a lightly greased air fryer basket. Air fry for 15 min at 380F or bake for 20-25 min at 375F if you do not have an air fryer. Toss halfway. Enjoy!

Sorry, Emily Roehler, finally got to the French fries. Really really liked the ranch aspect added. They were perfect. We used 2 potatoes, so put them in the oven first, then over to the air fryer to crisp them up further. Excellent. 👏🏼. Thanks so very much
