That was pretty hilarious seeing Vren constantly hit the *perfect* timed/specified edicts. Loved it. Easy to make mistakes on new cards like the kitty altering everything into artifacts also. (Game looked pretty decided at that point regardless, tho!)
The whole deck is problem just mass sacrifice stuff. So it's really consistent. Imo it's it's strongest bloom burrow commander that if not killed the turn it comes out will result in a game over unless someone as a board wipe
Oof that was a rough game to watch. Defs feels like Sam at some point should have tried to build up a board of tokens first BEFORE casting Baylen, so you could immediately take advantage of Baylen's abilities.
Vren looked interesting till I realized it is just going to give those players another excuse to make boardwipe tribal decks to ruin people's fun till they stop getting invited to things
I cannot stand the sacrifice meta. There’s people that play this style at my LGS and it’s up there with blue control counter decks. Really any deck that says “you don’t get to play the game” is obnoxious in a casual setting. I understand why people play it. It’s just really not fun to play against though.
Thank you for showing which cards were searched into the graveyard with Buried Alive!
Need more vren games. Only ones who have posted 1 so far
There will be at least one more, maybe 2 (cant remember).
Love not seeing Flubs cast at all, what a fun game to watch
/sarcasm
Sadly, there are very few cards in Dimir that let you flicker an opponent's creature, in order to avoid playing Vren as removal tribal
Will we see a game where Baylen and Flubs can do their thing? Removal.dec is a tough deck to play against.
Yup
Woah, Vren is even more fun than I expected! ...

Glad you enjoyed it!

i WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree 😅 I dont see the point in casting baylen with no boardstate of tokens 😅

That was a strong deck but removal tribal is rough to play against for sure.
Much love for your videos!!❤
Glad you like them!
Sam played horribly why does he keep recastin baylen instead of building a board and then casting him
The Tempt was his only token generating spell at the time.
Yeah I had a similar thought. Baylen is just a payoff. No point in casting it if you don't already have some tokens.
and didnt drawn in response to sacrifice it
Wtf he only ramped
BAY-LEN...also why you casting him so much...that one drop rat could have tapped for an extra card.
Play future games without John please so us the watchers can actually enjoy a CASUAL game👍
Whoever designed Vren the card must really hate playing magic with anyone.
Yeah, that card completely shut down my entire prerelease deck. Plus it has both Ward and 4 toughness making it annoying as heck to remove.
He's vren the relentless, not vren the inconvenience.
Imagine playing your token PAYOFF commander into a board without tokens and getting it killed immediately 😂 Jesus Christ I can’t watch this 🤦♂️
It is Bae-Lynn and it is a man's name.
Got it, cant guarantee I'll say it correctly tho.
This was the saddest game of commander ever. Every card played was removed immediatly. "Sam recasts his commander" should be a meme at this point

John is like playing with cancer so it seems. Definitely wouldn't enjoy a game with whoever that is.
Vren besto ratto!
please play this gane again without vrenn
There will be plenty of similar game without Vren.
