@@MarksTech Keep it until the computers and the bandwidth will be able to handle it. Marques Brownlee shoots all his RUclips videos on a RED at 8K... He uploads in 4K - one day RUclips will play 8K and our screens will require it
Clarke Smith the funny thing is, if you take a look at RUclips’s upload bitrate, it’s hilariously small.
If you upload in 1080p, you’re only uploading at 8-10mbps bitrate and 4K is only like 35-45mbps. So it honestly doesn’t even matter if his red cam is recording even 400+ mbps, the second he downsamples to 4K and uploads it to RUclips, 90% of that bitrate is gone lmao. But yeah i feel ya

Interesting, it you think about what you get, it is actually not that expensive. Incredible how good technology is now, on the other hand this is not a camera for the average user. But there is a market for it I am sure. Nice video.
An average sport camera like the sony a9 is around 5000 $.
And an average sport lense is around 10 000$
so how does / how do you save 360° 3D video?
You virtually need to be seaming the whole time and keeping all video feeds to be 3D for a full 360°.

Thanks for publishing this! Curious, what does the receiver weigh? With considerations of mounting it to an Inpsire 1 or 2.
Better go with something bigger like s1000 or other big hexa/octo. Not only because payload and stabilization and flyability, but reability (5000 bucks is pretty much of money). I mount mine to s1000 and happy with it.
I'm planning to buy a Mac Mini (with the new M1 Chip) but am not sure if it will handle Insta360 Pro 2 footage. Can you give me some advice on that matter?

I believe it’s a Manfrotto MVH500AH fluid head (I’m using one) and one of the Manfrotto photo tripod, can’t tell the exactly model.

The thing that really bugs me with 360 cam is the tripod. Does this hi end cam intelligently deal with tripod by masking it too?

you should still use the term "frame" however, each of the "frames" should be given an alphabet denotation. So as a director I can say "I can see a tent in frame B". also would be good if "frame 'A'" always face either North, south, east or west so you can train the crew to automatically know which "frame" you are referring to when you yell "someone get that white tent out of frame b"
