Aldi out my way has grass fed 85%/15% ground beef for $3.99 lb on sale. Also, don't waste money on organic chicken parts. Buy a whole roaster and break it down yourself for $2.79 per lb. Not only is it WAY cheaper, you're left with a carcass and often a giblet package, which can be turned into soup stock.
Good call on "the whole bird." Agree 100%. That is EXACTLY what we do. And we not only get multiple meals but 3 quarts of amazing stock. AND? The spent bones after 3 hours in the pressure cooker become compostable....meaning plant food. NOTHING goes to waste!
They didn't treat him badly. Seems they asked him once nicely to stop filming and then he started filming again hoping to knock out the rest of the video and the manager got frustrated.

Hey. I work at ALDI! Sorry about that manager. If you come to store 09 in Bolingbrook IL we’ll welcome you! Here’s some tips for animal based at ALDI: we have 1 explicitly raw cheese called Le Gruyère (took me a while to find it). Our best milk is Organic Whole Milk with Omega 3 fatty acids. Our best yogurt is Organic Greek whole milk yogurt (plain or vanilla). Our best produce is organic bananas. We have raw honey. I agree, pasture-raised eggs are best (avoid salmonella because the chickens are happier. I tend to eat eggs raw if I’m in a rush). Grass-fed New York strip, rib eye, patties, and ground beef. Organic chicken breast or whole chicken. 24 pack of purified or spring water. Coconut water. Pro-tip: look for items stocked in green boxes that say “organic.” Wait til the day before meat goes bad to get it 50% off (if it doesn’t sell before then). We also have some great Kombuchas, but not sure how great that really is for you. Happy shopping! Love your stuff, man!
NGL the employee was asking nice not once but twice, I think its okay and very nice the way Paul acknowledged and all good. No need to cause any drama for both parts.
. . .? We're not causing drama. We're just simply and unemotionally stating that we will not be taking our business to a store that's afraid of what people might see if they get their aisles, products, and labels filmed.
Paul acknowledged and then did it behind their back anyhow. he could have gone before hand and introduced himself to the manager and said what he wanted to do. likely his filming was upsetting customers in the store.
"Feed lot" beef is still grass fed, just not grass finished. The cattle start out on pasture, they are just grain fed the last several months of their lives to fatten them up.
At tops, there's only about a 6% difference in benefits between grass fed beef and grain finished. Not in a million years would I spent extra money for grass fed only. Big racket!
@@user-jk6jw9nq9m At 71 years young and in perfect health. I have eaten grain feed beef and chicken all my life. I agree grass feed is the newest catch phrase. It is the food industry scam for higher profits.
If you buy directly from a good local rancher, there is a stark difference between grass finished vs feedlot beef. It’s dark burgundy, and tastes very rich and beefy. But the grass-finished from the store is not noticeably different in taste or appearance to grain-fed beef. So if I’m purchasing from a store, I get the grain-fed stuff.
So, Dr. Saladino was in the middle of giving me -- AND TENS OF THOUSANDS OF OTHER PEOPLE -- lots of good reasons to buy certain items at Aldi when the store manager chased him out. Smart... really smart. Who trained this numbskull? I have been a regular Aldi shopper for many years, but I'll be looking for more options at other stores now.
Actually it’s the opposite of Woke. ALDIs isn’t like every other American grocery store, they operate with in European way. They do not want “social media influencers” going into their store to film and distract other customers. Their business model is for people to go in and get their shit and out super fast, no time wasting. Their checkout person is also timed on items scanned to ensure it’s a fast paced environment. The whole vibe of the store would change if influencers were going in just to blog lol the Woke businesses support influencers coming in a filming without any consideration of shoppers who hate being on recorded. ALDIs doesn’t need nor want influencers promoting their stores, Their business model had worked successfully for decades in both Europe and the US.
Aldis doesn’t want Influencers blogging in their stores because it is distracting for other shoppers. Not every shopper wants to see an influencer filming while they’re just trying to get their groceries and leave. Social media is ruining good etiquette and consideration for others. I absolutely hate when I see someone filming and I have to wait for them to finish to avoid being in their stupid video lol

Aldi’s recently had grass fed ground beef for $3.99/ lb . I just made the GF Rib eyes and they were tasty. Their pastured raised eggs are definitely more golden than conventional eggs. My Aldi’s has organic fruit - small selection but there. They also have organic frozen fruit in the freezer section.
The pastured raised I've bought....sometimes pretty golden; other times...ordinary yellow....and that raises an eyebrow. I'm with Paul....just don't know if I fully trust the bold claims on the package ;)
Don’t make vegans the enemy… a lot of us agree with Paul and a animal based diet… we just choose not to eat meat… We prefer farming chickpeas and quinoa… but we agree with facts good vegans… ones who eat Whole Foods… we look at it like beef and goat, or quinoa and chickpeas… either is better than cereal, sugar, seed oils, etc…
@@cameronann2093 It was a joke, not to be taken seriously, relax please. And it’s “An” animal based diet btw. I think the quinoa and chickpeas have affected your grammar.
Paul, next time shop, buy the stuff and film it being unloaded in their parking lot. You own it now. Film a part 2 when you eat it and give us your opinion. The no filming policy is to deter Walmart and Kroger spies from trying to undercut ALDI. Aldi can wave that rule anytime.
I switched up my diet 5-6 years ago - before I discovered Paul - but I educated myself -- and ended up with a diet similar to Paul's. Paul is spewing the truth: just got back from my annual checkup; my doctor says: "your blood pressure is perfect; and you look great." She was beaming - as I am; 55 does not feel like a real number: do not believe the hype: you can be 55 and feel 25; I'm a walking testimony. And Paul: grab some of that German bier while you're at it ;)
When I worked for various grocers, we were trained to watch out for "spies" that are "scoping or casing" the store to either directly compete via pricing, to commit theft, or to find a way to slander for a competitor's benefit. To be honest, they were not lying as I personally caught many people doing this. Only maybe one the entire time in my grocery career was it someone being honest like yourself. A bit of advice for you in the future, I strongly suggest contacting the local corporate office public relations department, introduce who you are, if possible, have a one on one sit down, and then get approval for in store filming. They will contact the management of what store you plan to visit to expect you upon the approval. This will make for a more pleasant experience for everyone involved.

I always shop at Aldi now. Used to spend $600 -700 a month at Kroger. Now spend about about $350 at Aldi and $50 at Kroger. My Aldi has some organic fruit. They also have many other organic products. The 85/15 Organic grass fed ground beef is great for $3.99 s pound. Also good prices on organic and free range eggs.
Step 1. Buy the new Rayban glasses that have a camera on them. Step 2. Continue to film in Aldi (maybe a different Aldi) and if they ask questions just say you're a nutritionist and you're helping this person (wearing the glasses) out by teaching them about nutrition. Step 3. You win, they can't prove any video.
Yes, Aldi is definitely missing out on free commercial for them. That’s just a stupid mistake on kicking somebody out for helping out them to sell their product.
What if we stopped shopping at corporate stores that hire these robots? We just keep complaining and accepting shit people like this in our society? Why?
They do have organic berries and avocados. My preference is to purchase the Aldi pasture raised eggs which have bright orange yokes while their organic free range eggs do not. Aldi should have really let you record because so many people dismiss ALDIs as a place to purchase quality food and is definitely suitable for those who are on a ketogenic or carnivore lifestyle.
I'm with Aldi on this one. It's pretty simple really that if you're making video content on their property you should have their permission. They have to think about the other customers who may be annoyed by your production while they are trying to shop.
Imagine getting mad at someone giving your store free publicity and being generally positive towards the products. That woman kind of reminds me of _that_ secret service woman, you know the one.

I think people are getting tired of influencers everywhere. If I came in to shop and saw a production going on that was going to get in my way or that I would end up in a video without my permission I would turn around and leave. Maybe call ahead and ask permission to film next time.
The way to tell grass fed beef is by the color of the fat. Grass fed beef will be more yellow from the beta carotene that comes from the grass. Some grass fed cattle are finished off on cereal grain fields.
In the UK they cut all the fat off as the public is still living in the sugar/oil 70s food pyramid. The meat is immature and tasteless here. The meat section in AldiUk is tiny, 90% of the plain yoghurt is fat free, Im so jealous of US healthy tasty choices. For the those of you who didn’t know, not all chickens are solely grain fed. For example, my chickens are 100% pasture raised which means that they eat bugs, frogs, grass (that’s right, chickens eat grass basically all day. They are grazers like cattle), and whatever else they can snag on the pasture. Just a little info from a local sustainable organic garner/farmer. Jovial Foods sells a great cookbook too that helps you get good results from this low-gluten flour.
He disrespected the business by ignoring their polite pleas for him to desist in recording, at least two times. Then, he lied about being kicked out, according to his own footage. This guy is a "chump" not a "champ".
Aldi does carry organic produce. But the “service” there is not service. They have pretty good products. The store is anxiety because it is a rushed in and out, less product variety means less appeal to browse. They have no problem telling people to get out, especially if it’s making other employees or customers uncomfortable. They run their stores normally with 4-6 employees. If you had went into the store ahead of time, asked to talk to the manager on duty, told them what you were doing, they might have went along with it. But you were spotted and asked not to, and then did it again. Most likely the original complaint was made by customer. The problem with recording in stores is filming other customers without their consent, especially minors etc.
thanks for your insight. i have shopped at Aldi for years and they are always nice. i agree that he should have gone in before and introduced himself. he probably didn't because they would have said not to film. if i was hiding from an abusive husband i'd be really upset at someone filming.

Sadly my local Aldi has been out of the 85/15 for a week now.😢😢😢😢😢

Absolutely no customer service. Plus the way everything is so mixed up in the store, to find what you might want you have to spend an hour looking through all the merchandise.

Paul: "I'm just hoping Aldi is being honest..."
Most people: Yea, okay, but when has honesty ever been a thing companies use to make money?
Big racket!
@@user-jk6jw9nq9m”6% difference in benefits” means absolutely nothing lmao. What did you think that meant typing it out?
@@user-jk6jw9nq9m At 71 years young and in perfect health. I have eaten grain feed beef and chicken all my life. I agree grass feed is the newest catch phrase. It is the food industry scam for higher profits.
@filster not necessarily
Totally WOKE management. You were giving them a free commercial. I did learn something about raw cheese. Thanks.

The options of products there actually looks better than what we have in Aldi UK.
