      To anyone reading this, BE HAPPY, because at least the government makes these companies report their ingredients.
      They could not have labeled the ingredients, but they did, and now we are more aware.....
      But honestly, the rest of the world doesn't read ingredients, so adding ingredients doesn't bother their businesses.

    Not that anyone will ever read this comment but I appreciate the work Paul does and I think he has a very logical approach to how to eat. I don't agree with everything he says (like vegetables are bad and to avoid them at all cost/oatmeal is bad/etc) but he recommends eating the way I have instinctually eaten my whole adult life. Very basic single ingredient foods that are mostly animal based seems to be the way we evolved to eat and a modern diet is a complete abomination of the way humans should eat.

    Paul, you should totally get into the business of frozen fruit!
    I can't find organic frozen papaya anywhere, and managing a supply/ ripening chain for them is labor intensive. Get some organic Costa Rican papaya farmers together, ripen and freeze them, and sell them to me for a big mark up!!!
    PS you're great, I've been following you and eating animal based very close to how you eat for close to two years. I started pure carnivore and eventually hit electrolyte issues like you, and your pivot to fruit eating helped me figure out my current diet. Thanks for what you do!!

And it's good cause I know that I not he only "crazy" people that read all the labels and try to make it logic as a hunter and gathering descendent. I tried full carnivore and get muscle cramps, now with the animal based it's way better. I just restricted my fruit consuming for weekends cause I cannot be so active during the weekdays. Started a carnivore journey a couple months ago, but I find myself drifting more and more toward this style of animal based stuff. Been trying to stay mostly grass fed beef, pasture raised eggs, no sugar bacon, Kerrygold butter, and some hard cheesed and seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and some cayenne occasionally). But I've started introducing some plain Greek yogurt, raw honey, and frozen mixed berry blends like raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries. hey man loving the videos, recently turned animal based after being vegetarian for 2 years actually from watching your videos and been feeling great. just wanted to ask, what do you say about trans fats? i always heard trans fat is awful and i keep seeing them in some meat packages (including some that say they're 100% grass fed) so i wanted your take on it

    • @allenbrost9564
      @allenbrost9564 Год назад +1

      So there are natural trans fats and synthetically made trans fats. Natural trans fats your body can recognize and process just fine. Synthetic trans fats made by super heating and processing seed oils turn the food into something the body doesn't fully recognize and causes problems.

    Was hoping you would have touched on eggs. My local Sam’s only has regular eggs (trash), organic cage free eggs, or non-organic pasture raised eggs. I normally buy my eggs elsewhere, but would like to know if one of those is “okay” because they are bulk and cheaper

    Hey Paul, Thanks for this informative video. However, I would like to ask If grass-fed beef isn't available in your location, is it better to eat conventional beef, or should you stick to a regular diet that includes both plant-based and conventional meat?

    The USDA recommends only 4 ounces of beef, poultry, or eggs a day? I was in the military and don't even want to think what was in those MRE's and even at the hot meals. Glad I'm making the change! Any way love the channel!!!

    Regarding algae (mentioned in context of carageenan), what is your position on algal DHA? Seems like it's less prone to rancidity and heavy metal issues than fish-based DHA.

    “Most pickles are not fermented, they are pickled. It’s a lot harder to find fermented ones and those Grillos are NOT fermented. This right off their site. Are Grillo's Pickles fermented? Our pickles are made in a 'fresh pickling' process using vinegar as the main agent, so they do not contain active cultures and do not go through the fermentation process.”

    My dog died eating food from here. They had a public and silent recall. Got the food tested and had very high level of heavy metals. Aluminum, lead, chromium, barium. The white labeling process is beyond evil, FDA was part of the over up. I’d love it if you’d create a video highlighting the FDA and manufacturing testing being highly impartial. Some brag about testing for salmonella yet completely miss the heavy metals bc it’s expensive to test for or are hoping that we do not check.
