I went carnivore Oct 2023 but instinctively never gave up fruit. I have lost the weight I desired and feel great. It’s nice to know I’m in good company. I know many carnivores won’t agree but it works for me and I reserve the right to continue to modify and tweak as necessary for my optimal health.

Thank you Paul! Your videos have helped me change my fathers life. He was going through some really bad sciatic pain that put him completely out of work (he works construction). I had him cut out all the sugars and processed foods and I started him on a strict organic chicken and bone broth soup diet for a couple of weeks, and it literally completely healed him. He was back to hanging Sheetrock within that same month.

Curious about is CBD oil. Is cbd oil bad? Does it count as a seed oil since it’s hemp seed oil? People say it’s anti inflammatory and yet Paul says seed oils ARE inflammatory. Should I consume it or stop???

Thank you for opening my eyes Paul, I was doing keto and failing, having the same electrolyte issues and never lost a pound... I have reintroduced carbs and my glucose is fine...normal spikes and no more cramping or exhaustion. It does give you a form of insulin resistance when you go complete keto... I did it for years... I have autoimmune issues as well.. I would get rashes, painful joints and migraines and have removed various foods over the years... I eat very similar to you. I've been eating a meat and fruit diet for some time now. It's unbelievable how good, almost euphoric, I feel. I keep wondering when I'll crash, as that is what I was used to. Feel good when eating a bunch of shit, then crash. But this feeling is consistent. I love it. My workouts have gone through the roof too. So much energy to exercise and I build muscle consistently and don't feel fatigued. It did need some getting used to, when transitioning from a more standard Western diet, but it is well worth it. Thanks Paul!
Edit: also my mood. It has improved vastly. I am prone to depression and anxiety and although I still have my bad moments, it has improved significantly, both in lessening of frequency and intensity of the episodes.

However, the more I listen to Paul and others on what to eat and what not to eat, I can't help but think to myself all of those individuals in this world who literally live until their 80's, 90's and 100's and they know nothing about this. It makes me laugh. Food in moderation, exercise/move, be grateful and thankful for everything you have and be happy and kind to others. Seems like more of a recipe for longevity than spending a load of money (I notice these guys don't have big families to feed) on organic this or grass fed that. Regardless, I appreciate the knowledge and studies presented.

I might be wrong about this, but i strongly believe that store bought fruit of any kind is crap. Because most of the fruit in the store are harvest when they are not ripe, so technically the tree does not want you to eat them yet. I strongly believe there is something missing or something that should not be there in pre harvest fruit, even if it ripens naturally on your counter at home. Fruit is a seasonal food that should be harvest and eating fresh from the tree when the time is right.

I now live in an area that is literally beef country-cattle raised everywhere! Love that! I love vegetables and would love to learn more about what you recommend for those of us who still want some vegetables in our diet. I’m bored with salads lately, preferring Greek salads. I make my own dressings, and always thought “good” olive oil was healthy, now I’m not sure. All the fake meat was a big deal in California (when I lived there). The vegetarian restaurants were full of fake meat dishes-what a waste! BTW, I’m not sure I can eat organ meat, especially as most of the organs you recommend are filtering organs, which would be full of the animal’s waste that’s not excreted. Anyway, you look great and have lots of energy, so keep doing what you’re doing!

Dear Dr Paul Saladino, huge supporter in what you do and appreciate your content. Question, I can eat chicken, salmon, dairy and turkey no problems but every time I introduce any kind of red meat within the first two days my blood pressure creeps up and it causes fight or flight. Any idea what is causing this? If I stop eating it within 2 days my BP goes back to normal immediately. I’m so confused and flabbergasted by this lol red meat is such a gift to us all on paper. I’m super healthy 35 year old male, certified personal trainer/nutritionist, able to do HITT style cardio 7 days week no problems alongside of weight training 6 days a week like a beast. I’ve even done straight red meat carnivore for 6 months and had to get on BP medication because of it just so you know I am super strict if need to be. Again thank you for all you do and all the lives you’ve changed with your work! Not currently on BP meds that was two years ago. I’ve just tried to reintroduce it numerous of times with the same results which is insanity I know but I truly believe in all my heart that carnivore/keto is what we are meant to eat and that alone has changed my life and completely got rid of years of depression and anxiety. Also causes indigestion, sluggishness and insomnia alongside the high BP. Sorry for such a long message just can’t get my words out like I can normally when I’m not so confused and pissed off. Have you seen this in anyone else or am I the lone wolf here?

Dr Paul thank you so much for starting this diet, affectionately named the SOF-MOF diet (Seed Oil Free, Meat Organs Fruit). I wish I could convince my friends that want to lose weight they should eat this way, but they instead choose meal prep services and calorie counting strategies. I am leaner and more energetic than ever, thanks to the SOF-MOF Diet, thanks Dr Paul!

Eat them if you're thriving. And cook the crap out of them if you're going to eat them. Honestly they're not the worst things in the world - if you swap processed foods for veggies and real, whole foods, you're winning. I only say to avoid veggies for those struggling with autoimmune issues, as I've seen so many people IMPROVE or RESOLVE their conditions through a strict elimination diet of removing vegetables...

@@Paulsaladinomd I absolutely agree here… not the worst thing in the world for the average person especially considering the poison that the average person ingests every single day. Although for others, they cause a lot of harm. For example, my mother has Crohns disease and vegetables cause her a TON of inflammation…. one time to the point where it caused her intestines to rupture leading to serious surgery and a colostomy bag for almost a year 😷

Thank you for this information. I agree with most of it except for eating squash. Squash is not a good choice for people with autoimmune diseases.

Hi Paul, very interesting. Having discovered lately that I do have food allergies related to pollen which include in fruits: apples, pear, peach, cherry etc… as well as histamine allergy / sensitivity (Orange, bananas, strawberry, grape et…) What kind of fruits would be acceptable on my case ? Thanks a lot for your time, keep up the great content

On the honey and diabetes study, it didn’t affect fasting blood sugar and had beneficial effect on lipids but it increased the hemoglobin A1c so for diabetic and prediabetic, honey would be a caution.

    • @Budgargy

Is this a joke, sugar does not determine a1c or blood glucose. Fat does, which is why the asians do not have diabetes and americans do.

What freaks me out about honey is that it could be the most expensive Manuka honey and they can lace it with high fructose corn syrup because there is no regulation on it. Basically, unless you pay for each bottle to be tested by and independent lab, or you buy your honey from a local beekeeper you trust, you have no idea what quality of honey you’re getting.

Great content and information. I do love Maranatha peanut butter organic and it’s the best you can get. It will help you look young and your face to not have wrinkles and lines. I also recommend Olive oil it is the best for your heart and skin. Internally and externally. I’m 48 years old and I look like 35. I stopped eating peanut butter for about 3-4 months and my face looking old and wrinkly.. So I started eating peanut butter and I do eat it with bananas great source of antioxidants and vitamin A.

I actually have a specific question, so i have a frontal lobe tbi and eating is hard for me, so i blend my food with water. I get about 1.5-3 gallons of water a day since i eat 5 meals, now ironicly that dehydrated me extremely for about a year, so ive had to level out with electrolytes. So my question is will this negatively effect me long term? Btw all i eat (lireral) is chicken, noodles, almond butter, and fruits, i am an avid fitness freak.
