Not including record breaking, world series, and playoff homers that was my favorite dinger ever lol. Just a wonderful baseball moment that will live on as long as baseball is played.
He should be in the Hall of Fame. His career story is super unique. His numbers are enough to get on the ballot but not enough for the HOF. Plus he had a PED Suspension. But what he did at his age is insane.
Love the vid as always Only constructive criticism/question (coming from my girlfriend who was forced to listen in the car) why do you elevate the pitch of your voice at the end of almost every sentence?
Dont worry, he wont listen at all to this comment and will probably delete it. Dude creates some of the best videos concerning baseball but is babyshit soft when it comes to criticism on his inflection. Its sad, frustrating, and made me unsubscribe.
I was always slightly disappointed that the Mets bench decided to celebrate his home run with the silent treatment. I felt like the wrong way to celebrate as it took all the momentum out of the celebrations. It was a big moment for a big player.
I'm no fan of Morris and would be fine if he had not made the hall but bottom line is he still has slightly better career numbers than Colon and his playoff heroics pushed him over the edge to squeak into the hall. Anyone worse than Morris, even if only barely is not HoF material, at least on the normal ballot process. Maybe, and I mean a BIG maybe by the veterans committee.
Any time I feel blue, I just cue up the home run. I can't really argue for letting pitchers hit, but we lost something when we lost the possibility of moments like that.
Julio Franco set the record for the oldest person to hit an MLB homer. And he held it when Bartolo hit his homer. Because he was 47 years old when he hit a homer. C'mon, man. You need to tighten it up.
I honestly thought you voice was AI cause you always ends a sentence in an upward inflection like you’re asking a question. You hear that yourself right?
Dude why are you showing your face so much, you do this in all your videos. You lost me at 1 minute and thirty seconds cuz it just distracts from the content

He wasn’t the oldest player to hit a homer, but he was the oldest player to hit their first career home run* 7:15
Cool, but not what he said.
An edit could happen, but why do that when this channel is always full of errors.
@@BSDConstantinewhere’s your baseball channel at??
Great video. Colon was a special player to have pitched for as long as he did. His home run will always be one of the great moments in baseball.
All-time baseball character, gotta love the guys that love the game
2:29 I can name a player who made his World Series debut at 45. His name was like...Jamie....something
Jamie Moyer.
@aznpikachu215 something like that, I think he was an Oriole?
@@PotatoGod985 He was a Phillie.
@@aznpikachu215my favourite fireballer, remember when he threw 99 that was crazy
@@kencarson666 oh yeah ill never forget that. and for a starter too!

Saw him pitch in Pittsburgh that year i believe. As Pirates fans we qere most excited he was on the bump that day.
Big Sexy=GOAT
Love the vid as always

The upspeak is absolutely unbearable, I topically watch these videos with the captions on.
Love the content man keep it up
this type of thing is why i love baseball
Bartolo is still one of my top five favorite players of all time

When I play OOTP baseball, I always make sure to vote for Big Sexy for Hall of Fame
If Jack Morris is in the Hall
Of Fame then there is no reason Bartolo shouldn’t be. It’s not always about a sexy BR page.

He won't ever get in due to PEDs.
Neither of them should be.
I still find it hilarious how he would decide what pitch to swing at before the pitcher even started the windup
I fucked up not watching baseball until 2022. I missed out on so many players.
YESSSSSS FINALLY A VIDEO ABOUT BIG SEXY
It would be nice if we could get a video about his whole career, as it’s pretty funny
7:10 - The impossible has happened!
Love that billboard, Fred-o, Crazy-Katz and Jeff-ie - glad they're gone...
Any time I feel blue, I just cue up the home run.

Colon is a legend
7:22 - the best baseball announcer!
Oldest player to hit their first career homer. Oldest player to hit a homer is Julio Franco in 2007 hit a homer at 48.
Big sexy!! One of the best 2 seam fastballs in the game😊
W Kyle hendricks mentions so this video is automatic W in my opinion
Love the vid!❤
imagine he played in the MLB again in his 50's
Legendary Petco field
Titanic Tantalizing is a legend
The deadpool of baseball.

Bruh fr fr try to work on your cadence and talk more normally. You video was good in theory but unlistenable.
