Literally right as she said that Bartolo comes on screen, and we both just started cracking up. God bless Bartolo freaking Colon

Great video. Was baffled that him becoming the most winningest Latino pitcher of all time was not mentioned. It was an amazing feat and honestly I truly believe it is why Bartolo stayed in the the Bigs. He surpassed Dennis Martinez and Juan Marichal for all time wins. While the near perfect game was an amazing story I think this feat is the acme of his story arch.

EXCELLENT video. Thank you for this. It's Bartolo "After Shave" Colon's world and we are blerssed to be living in it. One of the true great personalities who backed it up, even surpassed it with talent. Baseball should always be a game. Nobody worked harder than him off the field but on the field, he was a Little Leaguer playing the game, making it look like child's play.

Red Sox fan here. Bartolo was with the Red Sox in 2008 - as a minor league signing. He was selected by the Sox and had a nice start going 4-1 with a 3.41 ERA. But he got injured and the left the team and went home never to come back to the team again. I thought that was the end of his career then. Nobody expected then that he would retire 10 years later still and that the hottest part of his career - the Big Sexy part - still to come.

We brought Big Sexy signs and it led to us being on TV. My sign said “Big Sexy is Sexy” and my buddy’s sign said “Big Sexy is the 🐐” but Bartolo pitched a gem that day but the Rangers still lost 2-0

He'll never be a front line pitcher ever again, that much is clear, but I have zero doubt he could pitch next year and make 30 starts with a 4.50 era and 150 ks.
