Man, that blue color safe is absolutely beautiful. All of them are works of art, IMO.😊

Unless you can afford a Graffunder the Fort Knox is your best bet. A hell of a lot better than that liberty it's sitting next to, i'm very pleased with the Protector, even opt in on the AR ballistic steel package, redundant locks,

The four way active bolt system makes it so you can have the hinge mounted on either side with the same door.

I want one with a steel liner and the space between the outer wall and liner filled with poured concrete with rebar and random pieces of steel pipe in the mix.

I don't think that blue safe is a protector. It has too many locking bolts for a protector - the Executive that is above the protector has less locking bolts? I didn't think fort know had an option to upgrade the locking bolts? My guess would be the blue safe is a Guardian, which has 20 locking bolts.

      Definitely not a Protector

2w1 462 no one puts more steel in their safes than Fort Knox and you can add even more to them if you have the money .

@@BV1180 I was speaking in general of course Graffunder does, they are the rolls Royce of safes. Just saying if you want a quality safe and the amount of steel they put in your safe is limited to your budget.

Sturdy Safe gives you more steel for the $$ than Fort Knox. 3/8 inch plate door and 4 gauge (1/4 inch) body for less money. Can upgrade up to stainless and thicker steel, but then they do get a little pricey. Not as pretty as Fort Knox, but a lot of steel for the money. My .02. Peace my friend.

BFX is not better than Fort Knox executive; it’s essentially apples to apples.
Not to mention, you will absolutely pay more for the American security because in general they do have more steel. Everybody tries to knock Fort Knox but they definitely do offer decent safes for the money

@@mikestevens2053 The thing I don't like about Sturdy is they don't pay for fire testing and you have to pay extra for fire protection. Also, you can only buy online from them and I would rather go through a dealer that I can pay to install and bolt down my safe for me.

@@clay4542 My perception has always been positive of Fort Knox and I love their pistol boxes. Not sure how they construct their boltwork or do their fire-proofing (sheetrock vs. composite cement) on their safes, but that would be easy to determine. If I were considering a Fort Knox price point I would also look at Brown safes

@@jeffstrains4014 Do you have a specific model that you are looking at? and want to compare to Sturdy or Fort Knox? Seems like they have decent safes but their steel seems to be on the thinner side at 9 or 10 gauge. I didn't look at all the models though so I can't speak for all of them. They also only offer garage delivery so you will either have to install and bolt the safe down yourself or hire someone to do that for you. I would spend a little more and go with Sturdy or find a local dealer that sells Fort Knox. Hope that helps.
