I just custom built my Executive with an extra steel liner and extra firewall with the redundant lock. The size is 72x51x27 and was told the weight will be an estimated 2570 lbs and I paid a pretty penny for it. But like I always said, Buy once cry once. Just something that had to be done.
Buying a safe is not an easy task. You learn a lot of disappointing aspects of protecting whatever. No 100 percent way to stop someone from stealing from you. You learn that the safe is only a part of the protection out of a number of layers of things you can do. I think it's wise to start out with a reasonably good safe like the fort knox executive for example at least. Money is a constraint all at once for sure but my opinion is building and investing in security the best approach. The other nuance is if you decide to build and invest in a security system you never know what eventually you'll be protecting down the road. To avoid having to start over take that into consideration. Fort Knox is an excellent candidate and safes of this caliber to invest and build your security system over time. When i say security system i mean a layered approach like a good security alarm system for example.
Depends. You don’t need to spend $10,000 for a safe to hold that. You can get some AMSEC TL15/30 safes for under $10,000 and they will comfortably hold $50,000+. Additionally $10k worth of guns is a broad statement. Is it $10k in rifles pistols or hunting rifles? Would look very different in quantity (unless they’re one offs). Is it 5 staccatos or 1 DDM4 with a peq15, eotech, surefire lights etc. I need to fill some time so ask questions if you want.
So you like Fort Knox Vaults? Goodie for you. There are many other great safes with the same protection out there. You'd be better off on the Fort Knox Vault payroll. At least that would be one aspect where you would be honest.
@@seaworthsafesales4289Holland, amsec, sturdy, chubb,ISM, graffunder. Lot's of great safes. My 23" TL30 Holland weighs more than that maverick that's twice the size.
@@Empyrean_Enigma Those Amsec safe models have a fire rating of 1200 degrees which is the fire rating for th Fort Knox entry level model. The majority of the Fort Knox models have 1680 degrees fire rating. The Graffunder Castle series have similar specs however they start at $20K where the Fort Knox safes are priced far below that.
Congrats….. Fort Knox isn’t junk lol…. They aren’t designed to be the most secure safes ever; they’re supposed to provide some sort of security within a manageable price point. Not everyone wants to spend or can even afford a $15-$20K safe But obviously you can! Because you felt the need to tell everyone about it!! Either that or you’re a journeyman keyboard warrior (much more likely 😂🤡)

Great video. But would love to see the thickness and quality of the inner door mechanisms.
Great video! Thank you... Can you review a Vault Pro American Eagle Safe? Thank you so much!

I probably can't afford it, so I'll ask. How much are these safes?
The cheapest Fort Knox models like 3 grand
@@codynovak8259thank you for your post.
I don’t know what their lowest one is but I will at least won’t be shocked at the price.😂
i love the honesty !!!....ill be lookin at your stuff......hopefully yall in florida !!!
Very few safes ever experience a fire. That said, steel THICKNESS should be your
#1 priority.
Do I put 10k in a safe for 10k worth of gun,s?

Where can I buy one of those safe
Here's the link to find the nearest Fort Knox dealer near you: www.ftknox.com/find-a-dealer/
I bought a $499 Sanctuary at Costco. Most burglars won’t bother it.
Bill looks like the senator from north dakota. Or is he tony stark's dad?
How thick are the walls back and top
No ring on his finger
None of those are saves their residential security containers. Any pro could get into it in less than 15 minutes.

Junk. My graffunder has a 1200lbd 1" plate door with 1/2 plate body and weighs 3600lbds. It's sad what people think a good safe is now a days
Congrats…..

How many thousands of dollars did it cost to move it. 🤡
Cool? Money would've been better spent on a AMSEC BFII or building a vault.
I bought a Sanctuary at Costco for $499. Pretty solid, im not about to spend $10k+++ for one of these.
lol 14ga cuts just as easily as 10ga with an angle grinder...
lol. backwards. 14ga is much thinner than 10ga
