Casual player here, just finished Remake for the first time. I love OG, and this was honestly a ton of fun, so of course I wanted to see how speedrunners were going to dismantle it. Clearly I'm sleeping on Mallow the Destroyer! I feel like this game kind of needed a difficulty adjustment with all of the new functions, though. (I dunno, maybe there was one, and I just didn't notice because of past experience, but it seemed kind of easy to me?) Oh! Also! While I've known about the trick with Geno/Exor for ages, I've never attempted it myself. I thought they might have removed it from this version, but I was delighted to see it stayed in. Definitely felt like a badass then. Congrats on WR! 🥳🥳🥳
