- You are following all the punch needle 'rules', but your stitches keep falling out. There are 3 main reasons this can happen. Always make sure your yarn can easily flow through the punch needle.

Can you explain why I couldn't find a size on the package or the needles at the store? My kit required a specific size but I could only guess. I couldn't find a video with that info about it either. I ended up separating the ply of the yarn to make it work. But I knew the big needle wasn't the right one for the fabric or the yarn given in the kit.

My friend and I tried this craft we are both used to trying various crafts but just can't master Punch Needle as despite following all the steps stitches still fall out
Why??? So frustrating!!!
maybe the needle is too big? I'm not sure, but maybe the hole made by the needle is too big for the size of the yarn, so the stitches have room to slide out

But i cant hold the loops in place for the life of me.
I am not pulling the needle to high, my yarn has enough slack and is flowing nicley, lastly the direction im holding the needle is correct.
But no matter what i do the last loop comes out after i punch another, unless i pinch the loop from underneat. Can you help me please.
Make sure the yarn is threaded through the needle AND through the hole in the needle. Hopefully you have figured out your problem by now though ❤
