Youre the first creator ive come across in the last week who is actually sharing what they use/ what works best and being helpful! No gatekeeping here! Thanks for being so sweet!
I just have to say I think it's really cool for you to share information like this! I can just tell how sweet and authentic you are from your videos. You're one of my new favs to watch and are also an inspiration to me to keep pushing with my small biz! 🌼
I am waiting in the car for the quilt shop to open and I will be taking my first punch needle class. I wanted to see a video first. Very nicely done. Thanks for a great tutorial.
I used to punch needle back in high school. Now I'm a sahm and about to have 2 kids (3yo and newborn), I want to make some coasters for my deaf business. Thank you for refreshing reminders of what I used to do :)
This video shows how generous you are with your knowledge and craft. I love crafts and want to try this. I've ordered the needle and it will take a few weeks to get here (as you said it comes from Turkey)! I will be referring to this video several times! Thank You!
Fantastic video! Very helpful and clear - thank you for teaching it so well. It's helpful to see how you troubleshoot errors as well. Wishing you all the best with your business!
I think if I hadn't watched 10+ of your videos already, I would have seen a coaster and had the thought "I could probably make those". But there is no way in the world I would ever have the patience or mental space for this art, and I can appreciate those who do have it lol
I have struggled with doing punch needle. I purchased a kit from you and it arrived today. One of the best purchases I have ever made. With the kit and this video I was able to make my coaster with no issues. I will need practice to be as good as you and that won’t be a problem…. I’m now addicted. 😅❤😊
Thank you so much for the tutorial, punch needle art is new for me i haven’t tried it yet but I will definitely give it a try , after watching this video I think it is really good for beginners like me 😂
Just a hint. I’m new to punch needle. I had a hard time transferring the pattern because my fabric is dark. I found tissue paper works great for transfers. . I put the pattern on it and traced the design on top of the fabric. The bleed through made a light design that I just traced over with a pencil. Worked great. ❤
Excellent tutorial! Clear instructions and well-timed pacing. This was the first punch-needle embroidery video I watched and I’m ready to give it a try after seeing your instructions. The car coasters you created are very cute and functional. Thank you!
This was literally the best tutorial to anything I’ve ever watched. I really want to get into punch needling and you were so thorough in explaining everything. 😊
Thank you so much . I’ve been wanting to make tiny items 2.5 x 3x 5 and boy using monks cloth hadn’t been working for me. Nor has my punch needle and my 4 yarn . I’ve been very frustrated . Many thanks for tip on muslin and tiny needle . Thank you so very much . I also have been stretching out my design when I put on hoop . Goodness lol I was ready to give up. So grateful for your help :)
Thank you. I used to make jewelry and was always glad to help people learn. The other day, I was on a doll customization page. Someone asked for some help regarding the dolls lips because she was having trouble getting them to look right. So many people were rude and refused to help her. It made me really sad.
Thank you for sharing how to do this!! I'm on Etsy too, but I don't sell these. lol I'm just starting to learn this!! You gave really good info.. I'm still trying to figure out how to keep the needle close to the fabric haha.❤
Thank you so much, your explanation was awesome and I’m really happy, my mother in law bought me a punch embroidery kit, it does have its fabric, yarn, needle, threader. Some explanation hints but I think your explanation is better. The design is flowers and leaves. I normally do cross stitch and I wondered if she meant to buy that instead but never mind it’s something to try. Well the fabric is very different from cross stitch fabric. Wish me luck and I hope to even send you a picture of my project.
EXCELLENT instructions! Thank you for sharing all your materials and technique. I ordered my needle I cannot wait to get started. I need to get yarn and hoops etc. but since needle is coming from Turkey I have plenty of time!
Thank you so much when you start something totally new it’s as important to show how to get yourself out of a mess as it is to do the skill correct so thanks again this tutorial was excellent. Would you do a further one to show how to complete the coaster or if you have place the link in please. ❤
Thank you so much for this video. I have lots of needles and tried so many times but I just couldn’t ever get it to work or for the punching to look decent. I’m going to follow your tips and see how it goes. Thank you!
Greetings I have just come across your channel sames to be 8 months behind, I just love what you are doing. Going to order the kit I shall go onto your page and also give thanks for all the information you have given out.
Not sure why I missed this vlog but thank you! Thank you for being that vlogger who is willing to share how this is done. This was a great instruction vlog. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Wishing you many many more sales (I just placed an order yesterday!) 🌸🎃
Thanks so much in reaching out to me with this video. It really explains all my issues I have been having with me learning punch needling. Have a blessed day!😊💜
Thank you kindly for sharing all your tips and tricks and the links to punch needle supplies. I have spent hours and money trying several fabric/needle combinations and got discouraged, thanks to you, I can try this again and look forward to seeing the results! thanks again for your time and sharing!
Thank you very much for this video and all the informations and tips regarding punch needle, it is really helpful especially for begginers like me. Your work is very beautiful😍 I wish you all the best 🙂.
So adorable and so informative! I was about to give up on my project before I saw how you can make the fabric go back together so that you can work with it again even after you've punched a bunch of holes in it ha ha! Also I now know how to work with the yarn to make it do what I want it to do. I'm curious why do they call them car coasters?
Thanks so much for sharing your love of needle punch.. !!!! I appreciate all this info.., waiting for your kits….. get Shawn on it… I ❤️ all your videos.
Thabk you so so much girl for this tutorial, I started a diy project and screwed up the fabric so it is on hold until I educate myself more on punch needling, and your video is amazing. I wish you the best with your business and a happy new year!
I love this video! Sadly when I do it the loops on the back (which will be the front in the end) are SO long. I wonder if the length of my needle is too long? The back (the front while I’m punching) looks amazing and really tight.
I brought a dmc George the Giraffe kit. It claimed to have full instructions, but it did not have a pattern for what to do. It just showed how to do basic punch needling. I have been so stumped as to how I am to make the Giraffe. I am used to patterns for embroidery. Your video helped. I think I can trace the box to get the Giraffe and go from there. Dmc had a pattern to download of another Giraffe, but it wasn't exactly the same. The kit came with yard and embroidery floss and without instructions, it is hard to figure out how to exactly get the look the picture on the box has. Joann has stopped selling these kits. I wonder, if it is because full instructions are not included. I've researched the kit and there are no comments of anyone completing this kit. I loved your car coasters. I brought ceramic ones and they don't hold water well. I am betting yours do.
Very nice video… I have to say I was wondering where you were going with the original white outer edge 😅 I kept thinking 🤔 artists can be creative- this might work!
thank you so much for this super informative video! like literally all i wanted to know before getting starting, you mentioned I'm so glad!!! i will now hyperfixate on this hobby for two weeks and never start it again HAHAHA
Thank you so much for sharing this information! I’m new to this, and it’s been so hard to find information about what tools to use to get the designs I want. I really appreciate this video ♥️
I've just started doing punch needle, and I love it! I've finished 13 coasters and keychains in 4 days. I'm also thinking of selling the finished products, but I found it hard to part with them because they're so cute, all 13 of them. Do you ever feel this way? 😅
Wow you are so amazing for sharing all of this information! So if I were to punch needle a word would I need to write it on backwards if the front is really the back? 🤔
Hi! @ourcheerycorner I bought your kit and loved it so bought more of the muslin you recommended however some punches are working great but then I’ll hit a section that doesn’t hold yarn and rips ruining the whole thing. Any tips/recommendations?
Thanks so much for this great video. New to this and I’m just wondering so to finish the design and ensure none of the loops pull out you just back it with something and glue it? Or is there something else I’m missing.
Love your informative video! I want to make pillow covers with this since it is so different. Do the needle kits tell you what size needle and yarn are compatible?

Hey! Consider wearing a wrist brace to keep you from developing carpal tunnel from the repetitive movements of punching.

Thanks so much for your punch needle tuturial , was so helpful.

Yes! It mirrors the design
Hi! @ourcheerycorner I bought your kit and loved it so bought more of the muslin you recommended however some punches are working great but then I’ll hit a section that doesn’t hold yarn and rips ruining the whole thing. Any tips/recommendations?
