- Clean modern lines, and bags of texture make Toby one of my favourite blankets I've knitted to date. I've combined Seed, Garter and Stockinette stitch in stripes of varying thickness to give a blanket that's great for an adventurous beginner wanting to practice the skills they've learnt, or a more experienced knitter looking for a soothing easy knit.

An excellent tutorial and pattern. I will be starting this project this week for a new baby who entered our family this past week! Your instructions are so clear and the way you hold your working yarn inspires me to try continental knitting again! Wish me luck!
You can do it! 😀🧶 (but also, if you can’t then however you find knitting comfortable is the right way!)
I am a long time crocheter but a novice knitter and just lately have been wanting to take up knitting but couldn't find any beginner friendly projects to try. This blanket just came up in my recommendations and it's beautiful. I feel confident in doing this and some of your other blankets. I love your teaching style which is easy to follow. Just subscribed. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much! I really hope you enjoy knitting it, if you are a novice the sore thing like my Stanley, Casper or Henry are also another great ones to tackle. 🧶😀
@@SnufflebeanYarn Yes, I've been having a look at your other blankets and want to do all of them. I love the Emma blanket. Once I have some practice I want to try the diagonal blanket too. Thank you.

What size circular needle needs to be used? Loving your patterns, this one is gorgeous! Thank you
I use anything from 80-120cm for a baby sized blanket like this 😀
@@SnufflebeanYarnI was referring to the actual needles size…4mm? Or smaller or larger?
