Making this for my daughter Marlee, her daddy (my husband) is Eric. 😂 I'm working the "Eric" blanket as well. Maybe someday she'll have a "Marleen" blanket. Her name comes from Marleen. A beautiful name.
That was lovely Helen. What a beautiful stretch of countryside to drive through. Pearl looked quite content watching you crochet. Your van looks very comfy and cosy, and tea on the moors looked very inviting.
Thank you for a wonderful pattern! I've returned to knitting after a 30 year break and came across your channel, I'm completely hooked! Completed this one and now onto the next! Thank you 😊
Oh dear! 😲 I've just started Stanley, but now here is Harvey. I think I will make him instead though I love them both. Thank you for sharing these lovely knit blankets.❤ Your tutorials have given me the confidence I need to knit my first baby blanket..
Thank you so much for sharing! The blanket is simply GORGEOUS! I made this blanket in a soft pastel yellow and I love it !!! It was such an easy knit, very little room for error. Your tutorial style is on point ! From your calming voice, to the breaks so that we are able to pick right back up again makes the experience that much better. Thanks again ! You do very nice work, and all of your patterns thus far are beautiful !!🤍😊
This has been a fun one. I make baby blankets for donation and I have been doing the C2C exclusively. I needed a change up and this one is truly fun. Can’t wait to try your other patterns after I get this one done. 🧡
Just found your channel an WOW😁. What a wonderful tutorial,a lovely calm perfectly presented video. Im starting this asap an will be subscribing. Just a quick question can I do this blanket in any yarn? 😊💖
Hi! Yes, absolutely, you may need to adjust the cast on amount to suit thicker or thinner yarn but it’ll work with any weight, dk is just the weight I enjoy to knit with the most 😀
@@SnufflebeanYarn thank you for your quick reply 😊 yes DK is my favourite followed by Aran. Just watched the start of your video an saw it was DK( I skipped the start coz I couldn't wait to see how you knit it🤭). Thanks again 😊
You might find it easier to use the written pattern if the way I knit is distracting. I can only knit continental but the stitch names are exactly the same in English knitting. The written pattern is linked in the description.
Do you have a suggestion for where in the pattern to change colors? I’m using up yarn and don’t have enough of any one color to make the blanket. Thanks.
Hi! I’d change at the beginning of a row, and at the beginning of a pattern repeat, you might have to knit a sample to double check it works the way you want it to and tweak the start point accordingly
Sorry I thought you commented on my latest video 🤦🏼♀️ ermmm I honestly couldn’t remember but I cast on generally around 50 stitches for the samples I knit in my tutorials

This is beautiful thank you
You’re so welcome 🥰🥰
Finished my second Harvey - this one also “flew off” my needles.
Yay!! 😀🧶
Love this 😍 Lovely blanket Iam going to attempt to knit this. Can I do it on 5mm needles? Or does it have to be 4? :-) x
If you’re using DK yarn with 5mm needles it might be a little loose, but with a thicker yarn that calls for 5mm needles it would work well
Okie Thank you! And for your quick reply, 😊x

I liked the width of the sample for a blankie, how many stitches did you cast on for the example?
The pink blanket or the tiny sample?
@@SnufflebeanYarnthe small green harvey example you did to show how to do it (if you don’t remember, a rough estimate is fine)
