How to Knit the "Sasha" Baby Blanket
HTML-код

- As baby blankets go, Sasha is an absolute classic. Simple blocks of stockinette and reverse stockinette create sleek, modern stripes. This combination also results in a reversible pattern - something I know a lot of knitters look for when making baby blankets.

You’re welcome! 😀🧶
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you! 😊🧶
You do a fabulous job of explaining each step, how you do it and so on. Wonderfully explicit and clear. I just wonder how much yarn to purchase, the yards and number of skeins, etc. Cm to inch conversion is not my strongest suit. Thanks for the awesome video.
Hi!
So firstly thank you so much for the lovely comment 😀
Imperial measurements aren’t my strong point but for a rough guide 1 inch is about 2.5cm so you can divide my figures by 2.5 to get a rough estimate of size. I personally use an app called “amount” for conversions - it’s great!
The yardage of the yarn I like to use is 262 yards per ball and I use roughly 3.5 balls for a blanket this size.
Hope that helps 😀
Absolutely, thank you for clarifying. That will help a great deal when looking for yarn. I really appreciate reversible blankets!!
Laurelin, you had me at - not having to count my stitches, and reversible.Thank you for another fun to knit pattern
No counting is always a winner!! Thank you so much for watching 😀🧶
How do you know how long to leave your tail for casting on in the long tail method?
Nowadays I just guess and if I don’t get it right I either start again or chop off any excess. A rule of thumb tho is the tail needs to be 3 times as long as you want your cast on stitches to be 😀
Hi can you tell me please is it knit one line of purl stitch then one line of knit alternating?
I have the a pattern with written instructions - you might find it useful to take a look at. It’s linked in the description 😀🧶
@@SnufflebeanYarnthank you 😊 loving the work
Do you sell that yarn.?
I don’t sell that exact yarn - but I sell one I actually prefer (I bought that yarn before I discovered a new favourite). The yarn I sell is King Cole Cherished 😀
