Mississippi River Brass Band - Strike Up the Band

Dr. Jack Stamp conducted the Mississippi River Brass Band's first send-off concert before their European goodwill tour. The concert, presented on July 3, 2017, at Como Dockside in St. Paul, featured set drummer Donna Philippot on Goff Richards' arrangement of George Gershwin's "Strike Up the Band."

Interesting to see another brass band by the name of the Mississippi River Brass Band, which was a NABBA runner-up and great band from the Quincy, Illinois, area in the 1980's. It was a super strong group for 10 years.

The Big River Brass Band now has their library. We are from the Quad City Area of Illinois and Iowa.
