Its so soothing to watch you play tenors. I played them in high school and it was such a stress reliever. It gives me reverse PTSD to watch you play. You are really good.
Back when I marched around 2013-2016 I actually rigged my quad pad to an old Pearl carrier rail so I could practice marching and playing. It was really beneficial! Brought it to a few camps for drum corps and the staff was actually impressed I figured out how to do it.
Good Morning! This is Day 6 of me asking for you to make Tenor Drums out of Congas. It would be really cool for everyome to hear what the congenors (as i would like you to name 'em) sound like!
Man thanks for making videos like this. No one else does what you do! You're super entertaining and love seeing someone still enjoy marching drums! Thanks!
Fun fact, pintech sells plastuccymbals for whatever size you need. I use them for practice, especially indoors where I don't want to bother my neighbors and I don't want to risk dropping. But yeah we kind already have practice cymbals pads
Love RamPad. Best pad I’ve ever owned and I’ve tried a LOT of different pads. Not to mention the owner is super easy to reach out to if you have any questions/concerns. Currently saving up for my own tenor pad!
I LOVE my RamPad. I was gonna get the pro but I didn't want to spend $90 so I got the regular RamPad marching pad, I accidentally cranked the lugs too much because I wanted a marching snare sound so my pad looks a bit weird, but it still works and sounds great so it's not broken!!!
I like that idea of a marching tenor pad i would buy because i can practice my playing zones while moving because currently i suck at it but its my first year on tenors so yeah i would by that
The lady next door to my high school called the cops on the band with a noise complaint. In our county, the high school had to get the approval to buy the land, so she had no grounds for it. My band teacher was annoyed by the cop call and set the drumline to practice facing the brick wall opposite her house. I think if she'd known these existed, she'd have bought them for us.
Good morning! I was wondering if you had any tips on counting music since i have had trouble counting certain rythms like sextuplets and even basic 16th note rythms.
Hey EMC My swim coach plays for the Texas Tech Drumline as a Cymbalist, she gave me the warm up and audition packet and I was wondering if you wanted to play it plus I wanted to see how the tenor part looked on account of me wanting to audition.
Funny you post a video about this because I was looking at the exact randall May harness attachment you talked about in the video recently. I’m still on the fence on getting it but I’m not sure if my teacher will have me march snare for winter percussion yet 🤷♂️
I just stared band and I want to play snare and I told my band teacher about how I practice to your vids and he said that he met you bat when you where in the marines
I actually really like the idea of marching with a practice pad I mean I put a practice pad on my snare but I have a off world percussion practice pad and snare and that thick pad are a bit to heavy and if I practice like that I start to feel this one spor on my back
It mostly depends on where you will be using it. If the program/school you will be using at uses Pearl, then this would be the best choice. Likewise with Yamaha/Ludwig/Mapex, and or Tama.
Eric's neighbors: Those woodpeckers have been listening to too much of that drummer guy.
😂😂😂

I’ve been wanting do that for about 25 years, but never had the patience / components. Would be super cool at music festivals.
Eric now you need to make a marching bass pad and play a feature on all pads!
Please find EMC Production short video "Dr. Suess" drum for the RamPad Bass version. Working on a whole set of them for 2025.
And we need Cymbal, Flub, Cowbel and Timpani Pads

I don't even play the drums, but I consistently watch these bangers videos
I bet the neighbors are glad that this is so quiet!!!!

underrated 🤣
I bought a Ram Pad Pro a couple of years ago and I really like it.

catching an EMC video under 100 views is crazy

I’ve been loving your videos a lot more since I’ve joined drum line keep it up ❤
I cant wait for the mega tenor practice version
I can tell it’s heavy even though I don’t play drums I play the sousaphone for marching band, but I will play the drums next year hopefully
ngl, for a second I thought that tenor pad was basically a set of pancake tenors. kinda with they were
Good morning!
I was wondering if you had any tips on counting music since i have had trouble counting certain rythms like sextuplets and even basic 16th note rythms.
I actually have the snare pad shown in the video but in green color
Day one of telling eric to make a snare made out of tenors
EMC, you should make a set of tenors made out of bongos and call them bongors
Cool!
First comment! Good work.
I was still in school 💀
@@EMCproductionsthank you!!

Unrelated but some of the parts of the “oh the places you’ll go” Ohio state marching band show from this week line up with the 2010 Carolina crown
What if I want the weight of real tenors so I can get STRONGER AND MORE MUSCULAR!?
Can’t wait till I am in drumline
Add a Yamaha EAD10 to that setup and you've got a lightweight marching rig that has line out.
Funny you post a video about this because I was looking at the exact randall May harness attachment you talked about in the video recently. I’m still on the fence on getting it but I’m not sure if my teacher will have me march snare for winter percussion yet 🤷♂️
😢
You should try out ahead pad! A lot of the percussion kids at my school use them
I just stared band and I want to play snare and I told my band teacher about how I practice to your vids and he said that he met you bat when you where in the marines
Emc please review a small sized quad set (8,10,12,13) I'd love to see a comparison to a full sized set
Already did it: ruclips.net/video/YpiadZOX8EI/видео.html
@EMCproductions oh yea I forgot that video. Did you find them harder to play compared to the full size?
The fact that they showed up at all means they must be a million times better than the Xymox pads
Hey do you ever go to Music For All Festival in Indianapolis, Emc
Sounds good
Eric. We need pumpkin tenors
i n t e r e s t i n g
This is video number 69 of me saying Mekka Lekka Hi Mekka Hiney Ho

Day 1 for asking a part 3 of things drumline kids and techs say
I dare you to try to play the hardest piece on the mega tenors while blindfolded and handcuffed
EMC POSTED YALL
Hey I’m needing some help on how this part sounds and idk if there’s a way to show you the music and you could send a video playing it idk

So marchable practice pad looks really good
slap some piezo triggers on these and you can have electronic marching drums
I believe the guy that runs the RUclips channel “The Tenor Drummer” did exactly that and it turned out pretty cool
Anyone who's been to dayton knows these pads as the sound of the tent at UD
you should look at roots of music
Where do I get these i neeeeeed themm
RamPad.com
why does he have a trampoline in the back? Does he practice jumping and playing?
I think it may be time for a new snare harness
I have those exact shoes
I'm looking to buy one the marching snare pads, what harness do you recommend?
