Don't you love it when they put the entire product description as the product name? I'm actually impressed they managed to get the larger drum tuned that much higher than the smaller/side drums. Lol
I had a similar situation to the o-rings with a big fat snare drum. Some genius in ups folded it and it was all wrinkly. I ironed it with a shirt on top on the floor and that worked surprisingly well. I also used a hair blower to fix a friend of mine's o-ring
I wanna see more kids toy instrument reviews! I liked how you focused on what other reviews were saying. It could actually help parents buying cheap gifts! Maybe add what you recommend parents get for cheap instruments.
dude the "chubder kid drum set" is very well liked by my 2 year old cousin. It was actually easy to put together and she loves it and it's great to watch her improve
Why do I have the sudden urge to pick one up next time I'm in a Five Below? Sure it's almost completely useless but it's only $5! That's practically free! They also sell some little plastic ukuleles that are... interesting. The sound quality is actually better than what you'd expect out of a $5 plastic toy (although still bad) but the instrument is kiiiinda out of tune with itself, in the sense that fretting 0 actually gives you a semitone below the root relative to every other fret. So like the start of a major scale up one string is 0 1 3 4 6 instead of 0 2 4 5 7. Not impossible to work around once you understand what's happening but it's obviously less than ideal and makes anything with a flat 2 impossible to play. That's before even getting into the tuning between the strings or relative to other instruments. Anyway 10/10 purchase, love that store.
My wife picked one up for $5 at Kohl's, already assembled. My kid actually had a lot of fun with it for a couple days, but he couldn't resist the urge to destroy it because 3 year old boys. It's got kind of a cool sound too, 3 stars for sure.
Next time you get orings that are bent like that, try using a hair dryer set to high heat to warm them up and then sandwich them betwwn the heavy books or weights... Just don't get the dryer so close to the plastic that it will melt. lol
I'm in my schools choir and we do a few songs that use djembe and we have allot of good quality one's, so i thought we would have at least one strap for it but we don't! our conductor uses the rope on the sides and wraps it around his back
Not related to the video, but I too have been searching Amazon for percussion stuff and was curious on people thoughts on drum dials vs tune bot. I would be primarily using it for marching drums and for students to use to Independently tune when I’m away. Thoughts?
Good morning and this is video number 436 of asking for marchable bass drums, set up in a tenor formation. I.e. benor drums. PS: custom backbar may be needed
I've watched a few of your videos and see you're a really good drummer. Till now I didn't know how good. You played that cheap toy drum set and actually made it sound pretty good! And you didn't break it! OK drummers, buy one, set it up, play it, and beat him. Ain't happenin'!
Thought he said he was going to link the video to his review on the custom bass drum sticker, but he didn't...and I can't find any video within the same time period as this video.
Awesome! Now expect to see a Chinese website stealing this video and showing professional percussionist endorse studio pro recording classic cardboard self-assembled kit red / blue random color professional quality party for boy girl gift already.
In my experience, the amount of words in the product name directly correlates to the likelihood of how cheap it truly is
They rely on maximum keyword capture to even show up in people's search results.
imagine one thing just called "drum"
Don't you love it when they put the entire product description as the product name? I'm actually impressed they managed to get the larger drum tuned that much higher than the smaller/side drums. Lol
I’d assume the 4” djembe is referring to the diameter not the height.
I think you’re right
@@briwuholy shit, did that rhyme?

That drumset comes pre-built at Five Below, for $5. You got major scammed.
Fr I got one 7:53

A hair dryer will reset those damping rings.....That Moeller technique you put on display while throttling that massive mini kit was pure FIRE!!!!

best part of the jazz thing. that adorable little cymbal. could be a fine little accent
Love the tactical djembe roll.
I bought that little table top drum for my 3 y/o nephew at Five Below for... $5

Same to both. I need to electrify my terrible uke

Ain't no way bro started playing jig 2 on those tiny drums 💀💀
Fr

LOL
How are there no comments about your chicken sweater yet?! It's awesome!
I'd watch a whole video of EMC messing around with a Djembe, definitely looks like hes having fun with it.
By EMC policy the assembly time lapse at 13:35 requires White Boy Smooth. Fail! Great fun with these terrible products.
I would love to see a custom made version of the mini drumset with spocks and a little splash cymbal
14:49 Love the Jig 2 lol
14:38 No way bro did diddles with those sticks 💀
I really love your Peace Drums shirt!!! 😘
i love your videos man! Keep up the good work!
Try heating the O rings on the low setting of a heat gun. Apply slight tension if possible. (Pull the ring flat as you heat it)
Oh hey I bought the terrible desktop drums for the cymbal to build a gong amp out of. Worked for that
A heatgun/blow dryer on low MIGHT fix those rings.
I am literally wearing a more cowbell T-shirt.
Merry Christmas, EMC
Merry Christmas Eric!
Silkie chimken Christmas sweater goes hard.
You can try ironing the rings between fabric to straighten them
Would those o-rings flatten out if they were hit with a heat gun or hair dryer?
loving the new camera setup
Tip for bent o rings, just use an iron to straighten it
an iron or hair dryer will make these flatten out again. Use a wet towel with the iron and put the towel on top of the rings.
Great video, Eric...
HAVE A GOOD CHRISTMAS MORNING.
can you please showcase your tenor pad on the background!!
Next time you get orings that are bent like that, try using a hair dryer set to high heat to warm them up and then sandwich them betwwn the heavy books or weights... Just don't get the dryer so close to the plastic that it will melt. lol

you should make a drumset out of these!

1:28 Well..I-I bet it has a, g-great personality…
Brother I’m in band and I play quads, cow bell, base drum, and snare drum
I felt the ring of the cowbell
Ok that somersault was incredible
That small drum set would look great as a set for some GI Joe or Barbie 12 inch drummers.
randomly starts playing jig 2 on mini drumset
Even a toy sounds awesome in the hands of a professional.
oh god those O-rings thats so messed up lol... no pre flattening option offered?
Hi Eric. Funny Video, did you sent Back all the stuff?
15:00 had me crying
Yoooo merry Christmas 😊

Re: The 9.1in drum.
Put your hand into the back of the head. Lever your wrist/arm on the cross brace.
Hey emc. Do you have a tender drum. You should
Great video mate 😊😊😀
Merry Christmas.
Good morning and this is video number 436 of asking for marchable bass drums, set up in a tenor formation. I.e. benor drums.

14:00 looks like you bought Flob tri-toms
Merry Christmas
I think the most impressive thing I’ve seen EMC do is that somersault. Maybe I’m just getting old but that seemed impossible to me.
I've watched a few of your videos and see you're a really good drummer. Till now I didn't know how good. You played that cheap toy drum set and actually made it sound pretty good! And you didn't break it! OK drummers, buy one, set it up, play it, and beat him. Ain't happenin'!
