Last week I picked up my 2021 3500 HO. I have about 400 miles on it now. The tuning, ride, AISIN shifting was much better than I expected. I sold my 2012 2500 6.7 and moved up to the HO. WOW, again what a huge difference B/T the two trucks. My 2012 also had rear springs and the 2021 3500 HO rides much, much better.

Congrats Paul. I’m a Ford guy but I have to say if I had to jump ship it would be for a RAM just like your new 2021 mega cab. Would love to start doing long family road trips. But I have to say with all the issues of CP4 it has prolonged my new truck purchase. I think if I had to pull a trigger right now I’ll probably do a Ford 7.3 gasser. Thanks again love your input on Ram

CJC puts out some sick rams with carli lifts. However I just ordered a leveling kit for my 2006 from top tier suspension in Missouri. Great to deal with. Front coils for my 2006 are back ordered for 6 months from carli directly. Fortunately top tier is a mega distributor and had what I needed.
From a land far far away where we can only afford 10 yr old second hand vehicles being sold and taxed as New. This Ram would cost over 200k USD and you would be the local Governor of my very superstitious Nyamira County in Kenya 🇰🇪. I Salute you...
For the rear airbag, I suggest getting an all inclusive unit that self inflates and deflates remotely by Bluetooth connection to your phone through its own app. You will love this convenience and you will never want to go back to anything else. It cost a few bucks more but it is so worth it.
I have had 3 Rams. The last one I bought was a 2019 Rebel. The part that I disliked was the Ram Boxes never lined up with the body lines. I had it 1 year and couldn’t take it anymore. Sold it.
Any issues getting comfortable in the drivers seat? I’m disappointed that the steering wheel doesn’t telescope, but I guess the adjustable pedals makes up for it? Beautiful truck btw
I am super disappointed the wheel doesn’t telescope. My adjustable pedals on my 2022 Laramie help a little, but doesn’t make up for the fact that I need the wheel about an inch or two closer to get super comfy. Seems like such an oversight on these luxury trucks.
"Anthracite" color wheels might look good against that color truck or some 22.5 milled down to 22 lol. also I run the wildpeak at3w and have liked em so far.
Guys your dealer either doesn't know or doesn't educated buyer, those door gaps are set that way so that they'll close until the seals wear in a bit. If they put them fully tight it's airtight and will keep you from fully closing the doors.

Paul I know you're changing the tires for the way you use your truck but for the average guy what's your opinion of the Firestone Transforce AT tires from the factory, Ihavea 2022 Laramie. I've heard people say the sidewalls can fail and that concerns me at 80 mph on the Interstate, I do like the way they feel on the road. Will the sidewalls holdup or not? I don't want to blow a sidewall out, or have any safety issues. Thank you Paul, love your truck.
Wish I had bought the Mega Cab though, oh well. Still driving my 2018 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn. I am switching out the cross grill for the Ram grill. I just put 38”x22”x13.50” Mickey Thompson and American Force rims. I also put a 6” BDS suspension system on it. Looks like a new truck....
Sweet truck. Black rhino wheels would look sick n they come in many different color combinations. I might just need to pick me up a truck like that I’m loving it!!!

Fuel Blitz D693 wheels in Platinum or D674 in Machined tint color would look nice. Fuel Vector D600 in Bronze or D601 in Anthracite grey are both awesome with a high weight rating for towing. I put Vectors on all my work trucks.
Love your videos, great truck id throw some methods NV HD on it! Question though, with the rear view mirror does that big plastic housing become a bad blind spot or do you just adjust?
just bought myself my first new truck 2021 3500 regular cab Tradesman Cummins, and I agree regarding the 4x4 buttons, I really wanted the manual throw on the floor, but no such luck, hopefully the button lasts !! love the truck, I have never loved a push button start, does yours ever not start even after the pre warm ? occationally i need to push it twice, love the truck though
I’m running a Yokohama geolanderX-AT in 35x12.5 x18 load range F with an alignment to Thurman specs and couldn’t be happier . They are great in all driving citations .
WOW I just ordered the exact same truck! Except my will be the 2500. Megacab and clearance lights and everything. Whats up with gas cap???? What did you do about that?? Thanks
I am going into business with the 3500 Rams. I will get the Tradesmans, HO Cummins, and Aisen trans. I want as few electronics as possible, which can go wrong eventually. Dodge has body quality issues,as always. I owned a 2014 Dodge One Ton Dually and I bought a new 1974 Dodge Power Wagon back in 74. I love the Cummins, and the smooth styling of the Dodges. I built armored vehicles using the GM Duramax's but they are overly complicated compared to the Cummins. I also modified Ford Excursions, but the Fords had all kinds of problems with the PowerStrokes. I will use roughly 10 to 20 of them per month once we get rolling.
Can you manually shirt the aisin? Reason I ask is I test drove a 5500 cab chassis with aisin and I didn't find a way to manually shift? I probably overlooked it. I only found the tow haul button near the end of my test drive. Didn't like where the button was located. Also do u think the exhaust brakes are strong on these trucks compared to the old flapper type exhaust brake? I have a 2006 with the old jacobs/cummins brand with the vacuum pump. Thanks again. I'm seriously considering a 21 3500 srw Laramie. I keep my vehicles forever.
Yes you can. Buttons are on the steering wheel. I’ve had 2 old style exhaust break systems. Seemed like on low rpm they were stronger. But mid and high rang is stronger on the vgt ones. So over all vgt ones are stronger. I would say yes on the 21 purchase. Aisin of course. As long as you are financially ready for it.
For this caliber of truck I wouldn't put anything other than innov8 Racing American made forged wheels on it. They come in 17 or 20", are anodized aluminum in the color you want, can pull them off and have them reanodized to a different color if you ever change your truck, available in multiple offsets and most importantly there strong capable of handling heavy loads. A nice set of G500s would be perfect!
I bought a ‘20 to pull our 36’ travel trailer. After a DEF scare, learning that anything other than MOPAR filters will trigger an engine light, and that a 10ish thousand pound camper can hold it back on a 5% grade, I’m a little underwhelmed. It’ll be paid off in 3yrs, but the next one will be a Ford or Chevrolet.
Maybe you can answer this question for me. Can you see with the navigation can you save up to 4 trailer's and can you input size length and width of This way when you decide on your route you don't end up tearing off the top of your trailer.
Nice truck. Do you use a fuel treatment in your fuel when you fuel up. Also have you ever had the def tank freeze up on any of your trucks. Thanks, take care and stay safe😀
I love my rams also. Had the same issue with gaps the cab was 3/4" out of alignment from the cab??? The dealer sent it to a body shop and they fixed it but what the right. like watching your stuff. Quick question how do you get the light to flash on the front of your truck?
man if you are wiling to buy an italian/french truck then boy do I have a an investment offer for you. It's called bitconnect and it is revolutionary and foreign, just like that truck
Im assuming you are talking about the headlights. In which case the refresh rate of the camera is making them flash in the video but in person they aren't flashing.
@@loganshort1324 Well, technically, the LEDs are flashing. LEDs have a power supply that delivers power in cycles, which briefly flashes the lights on and off. This cycle happens so fast, the human eye can't see this, but a camera can because they work with a shutter that captures images at certain rates, which normally also can't be seen by the eye. But when a camera captures an LED, you see the flashing effect because the refresh rate of the camera and the LED's power supply work a different rates.
F450 vs ram 3500 ho. 19.5 wheels vs 17" wheels. They are both rated around 37k max towing. Ford turning radius or ram engine break. Ford 475hp 1050lbf vs ram 420hp 1075lbf. V8 vs I6. Ram air bags. What's your input?
I looked at the 2021 Ram 3500 srw Big Horn with the HO 6.7 cummins 4:10 w/Aisin trans. Really loved the cp3 pump addition. $77k with options Ultimately, I chose the 2021 Ford F-350 xlt with Tremor package 6.7 powerstroke/10 speed ..with all my options and discounts $69k. The Ford is fast...my goodness. It was a tough choice. But , I couldn't pass up a '21 Ford 6.7 Tremor, its just an awesome truck
Thank you for all the videos you’re doing. About to trade in my 2020 F250 6.7 Lariat with the 10 speed transmission in order to get a 2021 or order a 2022 3500 6.7 HO Cummins. Was wondering about the CP4.2 but then you mentioned yours has a CP3. Did it come with it or did you custom order/change it? Blessings!
Go get into one of the f250 super duty, we bought 10 of them in lariats for the company and all the dashboards are all over the place. None of them are alined right, one was so bad the glove box wouldn’t close
Paul, so what made you overnight go from being a mega cab hater to lover? Was it actually the mega cab or was it all the other 2021 changes you got along with the mega cab?
If you are considering buying a RAM 3500 pickup, please don't do that. My RAM 3500 break down very quickly from the fuel system. I bought a 2020 RAM 3500 and it broke after 3 months, my fabulous RAM 3500 is still in the dealer after 1 month. They tell me there are no spare parts for the fuel system
Is the rear view mirror an option only on the Limited. We have the 2020 Laramie Longhorn with the HO and Aisin transmission. We had a B&W Gooseball Hitch installed locally to haul our new RV.
This is a Beautiful truck man and my next ram needs to be a 3500. I’ve only owned 1500s and the extra money for a 2500 doesn’t make sense to me besides the fact I can get the Cummins but the performance capabilities aren’t that much better really. My crew cab hemi does everything I need while averaging 17mpg on 35s. I want a popup camper though so 3500 makes most sense. Don’t need the HO but we’ll see. In regards to wheels I really love the method MR704 titanium gunmetal and on your truck they’d look sick!
Congrats Paul, I'm looking at the same rig for my trailer. I'm also looking into a GMC Denali 3500. I know you're a Ram guy but give me a straight up unbiased answer. Ram or GMC? This is a long term truck for me.
Love it! I have a 20 3500 HO Laramie megacab in the same color combo. I LOVE the Megacab on the the granite crystal metallic. The white looks terrible in a Megacab, in my opinion. Kind of bummed that I got a 20 over a 21, but what can you do! I guess I’ll ride out the CP4 until I’m out of warranty!
Not gonna lie, she is a beauty. The color, the engine, the wheels, the interior, everything is as I dream of owning one day. Congrats on this fantastic purchase, Pray to God that this beauty of a truck lasts for decades.

I also modified Ford Excursions, but the Fords had all kinds of problems with the PowerStrokes.
I will use roughly 10 to 20 of them per month once we get rolling.
Love the new truck, Paul. Also like those dark wheels and let me know do you want sell them as they would look great on my 2018 Ram 2500.
Buttons are on the steering wheel. Yes on the 21 purchase. Aisin is a must. Unless you don’t tow much.
I used to have a megacab and I did like it..
hopefully you keep it for a while Paul congrats 👍🏻
Maybe you can answer this question for me. Can you see with the navigation can you save up to 4 trailer's and can you input size length and width of This way when you decide on your route you don't end up tearing off the top of your trailer.
Nice truck. Do you use a fuel treatment in your fuel when you fuel up. Also have you ever had the def tank freeze up on any of your trucks. Thanks, take care and stay safe😀
Keep the factory wheels they look awesome. If not AEV makes the best wheels for Rams and Jeeps.
I love my rams also. Had the same issue with gaps the cab was 3/4" out of alignment from the cab??? The dealer sent it to a body shop and they fixed it but what the right. like watching your stuff. Quick question how do you get the light to flash on the front of your truck?
Pretty sure it's just the leds, if the frequency of the cameras frame rate and the leds don't match up then it looks like they're flashing
Is this granite or max steel ? It’s beautiful
man if you are wiling to buy an italian/french truck then boy do I have a an investment offer for you. It's called bitconnect and it is revolutionary and foreign, just like that truck
Best truck you can get to get the job done! Congrats!
After 2 years of ownership, how is the truck and are you satisfied with it??
I think the look of the Mega Cab will grow on you, I like that it looks more beefy, it makes it stand out from other trucks
Congrats bro!!!
Thank you kindly
Nice truck. So did it come with strob lights or did you have them put in ?
Correct. I just wasn't going that deep. LOL
Oh ok I just thought it cool looking, lol by the way I love your videos I have learned a lot from them.
I read a report that suggested that the 2022 HO's might come with an Allison 10 speed transmission. What say you??
How is your truck holding up for you? After a year
who can afford 90 grand for a limited 3500 dually? I'm sure it's a beast of a truck though.
It’s not even a dually
@@williamwatkins2538 lol
I have a 1993 dodge ram D350 dually, I want a newer ram to join my older one...I like this, I like this alot..
F450 vs ram 3500 ho. 19.5 wheels vs 17" wheels. They are both rated around 37k max towing. Ford turning radius or ram engine break. Ford 475hp 1050lbf vs ram 420hp 1075lbf. V8 vs I6. Ram air bags. What's your input?
I looked at the 2021 Ram 3500 srw Big Horn with the HO 6.7 cummins 4:10 w/Aisin trans. Really loved the cp3 pump addition. $77k with options
Ultimately, I chose the 2021 Ford F-350 xlt with Tremor package 6.7 powerstroke/10 speed ..with all my options and discounts $69k. The Ford is fast...my goodness.
It was a tough choice. But , I couldn't pass up a '21 Ford 6.7 Tremor, its just an awesome truck
Good luck when you get the infamous super duty death wobble
Ordered my 21 2500 Mega Cab Limited Night Edition September 7th. Been pending shipping since December 5th. Getting impatient 😤 lol.
Blessings!
2021 Cummins has the cp3 stock from the factory. The 2019 and 2020 Cummins had the garbage cp4.
@@gainz4dayz576 Thank you. Made the move to a 2021 Cummins a few months ago.
Do you have any 5500's or 4500's in your fleet? Have you ever had any front end suspension issues with your trucks?
Is the rear view mirror an option only on the Limited. We have the 2020 Laramie Longhorn with the HO and Aisin transmission. We had a B&W Gooseball Hitch installed locally to haul our new RV.
Ngl, I'm jealous. This is my dream truck.
Nice review! .....long time '93 Honda Prelude Si VTEC owner here 👍😎
This is a Beautiful truck man and my next ram needs to be a 3500.
Dodge all day.
Nah ppfffsss JUNK
