    what size do i get for my rod and piston so it all fits? ive seen .550 or .570 for pistons and 3.308 or 3.328+0.20 for rods. So what sizes do i get?

      @@grumpythefortmaker9510 it depends what you wanna do if your just doing a stock replacement I would get the stock length 3.308.

      @@grumpythefortmaker9510 for pistons you should be good with 570 or below any more you might have to do a longer block for a longer stroke

    When I installed mine I got rlly bad kickback and compression when with lash set right

      @Guido19  5 месяцев назад +2

      When you pull start it make sure to pull start it on the compression release it won’t be as bad and I would also check the valve lash again because it can move!

    I can’t get the piston in for some reason been trying for a hour even with the compressor I’m losing my mind

      Hmmm very strange only thing I can think is you may need to trim your piston rings a bit. You would need to get a piston ring trimmer and then put it in the cylinder without the piston to see if it goes in and if it needs to be trimmed

    yo when i install my rod n flat top you think i should just take the piston rings off my old one and throw them on the flat top so i dont have to mess with clearances even tho this piston and rod i have fits hemi and non hemi 212

    • @Guido19
      @Guido19  2 месяца назад +2

      I would recommend getting and using new ones. there shouldn't be any clearance issues.
