Need to check the online auctions for new Last Call cars for the latest pricing adjustment. Dealers will gouge as much as they can looking for that sucker. Will only cut the price when the floor plan cost dictates it. They can't hold all of them forever.
(2021 Daytona RT owner here) But yeah, Like you mentioned. The R/T is super overpriced. Like when I saw that price tag for an R/T from what it seems like, barely anything on it. As a Mopar lover. Its crazy to me on how much these cars went up. I think around 2017-18, the R/T was like 32k base price and with power dollars at the time, you prob can get it like 32 out the door as well lol. My Daytona RT costed me 45k out the door and that was also the sticker price. I have the sunroof and the harmon kardon speakers on it too. (Bought it early 2022 from a different state.) I think I saw some other chargers for the 2023 year with the same options and its around 57k i think. To me thats a rip off. Dodge really made the SXT, GT and R/T a rip off because in reality. All these cars are just the same thing as years ago but marked up. The SXT being a previously 27k msrp car to then 36-40? Like A Gt to go up to 45? Those were like 30 msrp before fees. A BASE scat i think in 2016-18 was like 38 and maybe 42out the door. Thats how I think about Dodges, if I didnt get my charger two years ago then I wouldn't get one..... as a mopar fan.... they made it unaffordable because they WERE. But now? Idk. I had some comments from people saying that I was rich driving that car. Don't get me wrong. Dodges are not cheap cars but like to be labeled as "rich?" Nah. Really. Those cars are for sure $500 monthly and im sure not many people can afford that with all cost of livings going up. If you have money to buy a base, RT. Then maybe it could be considered to only go for Scat and up because the V6 and R/T are just ripoffs. Like when you showed that super base model v6 with the sunroof and it was 40k? You can get wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better cars for that price......
