Because the issues are fake. Very few and they have sold over 7000 already and can't keep up with the orders. CT has outsold the F150 EV truck also already. The mental gymnastics are by those that can't afford one or are against EV's in general, but having said that, American's will buy what they want when they want. Sales speak louder than defects and the case in point is Fords F150 where sales have tanked and the F150 EV stopped production last week temporarily. Why, because dealers don't want them due to no sales.

Lots of cars have decorative pedal covers. You just aren’t aware of them because they don’t fall off. The tell that Tesla has doofus engineering is that it was deisgned to taper so it could wrap around the pedal and slide on and no one though to mold in a plastic or metal snap catch so the thing could not slide right back off. They used glue. On something subjected to shear stresses from your rubber soled shoes.

Most people don’t understand stainless steel, stainless steel doesn’t rust unless it has surface contamination such as ferrous metal dust from another source lands on it, this will start to permanently mark the stainless steel.
But separately, stainless steel will tarnish, this is just the stainless steel dulling over time due to other surface contamination but is not actually damaging the metal, stainless steel hand railings and boat fitting will tarnish, this can easily be polished out.
Bottom line, everyone who has one of these truck should accept that you will be doing a lot of polishing every day with wax to stop it tarnishing, just because it’s stainless steel doesn’t mean you can be lazy about looking after its appearance.

This is what I don't understand. Any other manufacturers, this sort of quality would be unacceptable, especially at this proce point. When are people going to start holding Tesla accountable. They are quick and literally nothing else. Their tech is way behind, their quality is beyond a joke, and the design is just different and nothing else. These vehicles are one the level of the Mitsubishi Mirage. Such crap.

Steady now. I'm in the UK and many years ago owned a first generation Mitsubishi Colt (Mirage in the US) and it was both practical and reliable. Plus, I could easily get spare parts from a Mitsubishi main dealer for very reasonable cost even though it was going on fifteen years old. Will anyone be able to say the same for a Cybertruck?
I agree with your main point though: everyone seems to expect a low level of quality and willfully ignore it because it has a Tesla badge nailed on the front of it.
