It’s a tough call between Shaun and Hot Fuzz. But if someone was to twist my arm I’d say Hot Fuzz, I really liked the story but as far as rewatchability I feel Shaun is an easier watch. Both are in my favorite comedies.
I've always found Hot Fuzz an easier rewatch. For some reason, each time I watch it I notice more and more things I didn't notice in my last rewatches. All of the Cornetto trilogy is godly, though.
I used to have that same dilemma, but then i rewatched the worlds end about a year ago and i have to say that one is actually easily my favourite of the trilogy
'Paul' got me through a tough period in my life. It quite literally brought sunshine into my dark mundane days since it sorta relfected what I was going through losing a loved one and having your buddies becoming an integral part of the journey was what really resonated with me. I had that, but I was firmly planted on terrestrial ground. And I laughed so much my flatmates came to know what was going on, if I went mad or something.
The interaction between Ogden and Wade in Ready Player One at the end is so good and so heartfelt. It’s just one of those movies you can watch over and over again each time it’s on.

One of the most likeable guys in cinema! Love Simon!
"watching old men walk is one of my favorite pass-times"
God I love Simon pegg
At 2:49 you should’ve put ‘Nicholas Angle’ would’ve been a cool little Easter egg for people to notice!
wow
I feel like people would just point out that “it wasn’t spelt right”
Not everyone is a fan of this genius
UzzyT Easter Pegg
explain the easter egg! I’m begging!
I agree, mainly the edits hold many things
'Paul' got me through a tough period in my life. It quite literally brought sunshine into my dark mundane days since it sorta relfected what I was going through losing a loved one and having your buddies becoming an integral part of the journey was what really resonated with me. Great feel good movie, played it on repeat for months and never got tired of it. My brother got annoyed since we stayed in the same condo lol. Great memories.
Simon pegg's hair line is somehow gotten better throughout the year
What a genuinely hilarious person I love any role Simon plays
AND HIS SCOTTISH ACCENT WAS GREAT
Best trilogies:
3. Lord of the rings
2. The dark knight trilogy
1. The cornetto trilogy
True facts
Thx for the likes!
Captain America trilogy is up there too but definitely
Kullen Norton it’s a personal opinion I think they’re all good trilogies
Cornetto trilogy is the only trilogy I need.
star wars original trilogy 👌
Strange Birds oh definitely!
11:26 "Hans Olo"... I literally spilled my coffee
Watched Shaun of the Dead on a plane and laughed out so loud my husband wanted to know what on Earth was I watching
Well, technically you weren't watching anything on earth... You were approximately 30,000 ft above the earth :D ..... ._. I'll show myself out...
I had that, but I was firmly planted on terrestrial ground. And I laughed so much my flatmates came to know what was going on, if I went mad or something.
Could Nicholas Angel beat Ethan Hunt in a fight?
You think that's air you're breathing?
I'd fight Gandhi
Ed would
I wrestled a tree once...
And lost...
Id recon we need a Hotfuzz, Kingsman, Johnny English and James Bond crossover.
"I love the Scots... more than the English." 😆🤣🤣
Who in their right mind wouldn't?
sheep shaggers
@@hydefc4956 lol that's really bad in Aberdeen
It's the general English opinion
@@hydefc4956 no that the Welsh.
The interaction between Ogden and Wade in Ready Player One at the end is so good and so heartfelt. It’s just one of those movies you can watch over and over again each time it’s on.
Wish he ironically said Nicholas *Angle* D:
Morning Angle
U do mean angel
@@flamezeu2118 it's a line in the movie. The reporter who dies in hot fuzz can't spell well and screws up a story about stg angel
Josh Lines hey that weren’t me
@@rockerdude8000 woooosh
Simon, you revolutionized mission impossible as a franchise, you single handily made it fun to watch.
True!
I love the way he sarcastically talks about how he has a fetish for old men walking without even cracking a smile or anything whatsoever.
I love how the culture of RUclips and social media gives certain artists a chance to have a piece of content about them shared for everyone to see. I've been a Simon fan since Spaced and to this day Edgar Wright is my favorite director and all of their works are my favorite films. Glad people (especially Americans) are finally getting to enjoy Simon Pegg more and more.
*Sudden urge for a cornetto*
Dr. Aruban I have some in the freezer....
I'll be right over
I always have to eat three
I have all the simon pegg/ nick frost buddy films. They're all great.
All hail "The Cornetto Trilogy" + Paul.
Luke Hallett that's what these characters are called in english? oh my haha
Paul could have been great with a better director.
The Star Trek accent is BRILLIANT! I love it!
yeah but hte movies sux.
Nicholas Angel is the only Pegg role where I don't see Pegg, I see the character.
