6:03 in just stumbled across this gold!!! I cried at Lion King. In a theater in the back row by myself while my bro and sis sat with my mom. And I was in a argument with my dad. Who is still alive by the way. Disagree with him and love him. I would start a channel but the world can’t handle me. Bk I speak my mind.
So much nostalgia. Starting your life with a room mate. Such a cosy and peaceful apartment. They look so comfortable together its gives me that spindly chills.
Best sitcom ever made. I was 11 when it was made but it makes me long for living in a flat share, smoking weed, listening to indie friends during the late 90s and early 00s.
I'd argue one os the best directed shows ever. The story itself isn't that novel but the style of directing was back then. Edgar Wright is a visual comedy genius.
I remember being 12 and watching this on Friday nights when it first aired. I looked at Tim and thought “that’s how I’m gonna be when I grow up”. I couldn’t wait 😂
I love this show so much. Havent watched in a decade or so, got mentioned in a youtube video, and that lead me here, and now I'm hooking up the dvd player to watch the rest. Seriously the only thing that ages it is the tapes and the phones. Everything else it could be today
Love this show. The first episode is comedy magic. I am all about quirky British humour and this hits all the boxes. There are three moments I love that I could tell this show is for me.: Tim and Jessica getting to know each other. She breaks into ridiculous sobbing. The line 'psychic househunters' gets me every time. The Tim starts bawling like a goose. Them during the flat interview headbutting each other is the cutest thing in the world. Finally I loved Brian and his goofiness. What is the deal you and Marsha? You know about the deal?!?!??
I love that it seemed like tim wanted brian to say he’s gay Just Because It Would Be Interesting lol his smile and shrug at the ambiguous answer always makes me laugh.
Remember when dramas, sitcoms and TV series used to grab your attention and keep you glued throughout without skipping to "5 years earlier"? Yeah me too.
The cafe at the very beginning of the show is Diners Delight in Teddington. It doubles up as a Turkish restaurant in the evenings. I do wonder why they ended up closing a place far away from all their locations though.
Channel 4 is so underrated as a broadcaster! My personal favourites are The Inbetweeners, IT Crowd, The Bake Off, End of The Fucking World, Travel Man, Undateables and F1! They’re quality 💪🏻
Love this show! Though £90 a week for a two bed flat in Tufnell Park, is the biggest joke of all! Even 20 years ago it wasn’t that affordable 😂😂 also can anyone tell me the name of the music from 19:55 onwards?
he wrote Spaced. so it's more than acting, it's realising and launching his own career and succeeding. the Cornetto trilogy is part of his ever growing repertoire. if he wasn't so attractive he may never been cast in some of his least interesting acting roles ( all in films he hasn't written). How much do you love this show??
Watch the FULL series here: bit.ly/2p6YIX4
Spaced is one of the all time classic comedies - so cleverly crafted.
More please!! Amazing show.
loveeeee
Could you add the homage o' meter like the dvd boxset had?
Seen it umpteen times and have the special edition boxed set on DVD..In my top 3 fave sit coms.
One of the best openings to any show.
“5 years, 5 years”
“ I was drunk”.
It instantly hooked me.
just like my 1st serious relationship. we were actually drunk most of the time (at night ofc lol) 4 years lasted
I check back every so often just to hear those first few lines.
Makes no sense how y'all are interpreting that joke since they were actually having two different conversations.
Spaced is one of the all time classic comedies, so cleverly crafted.
wish we could get a Series 3
Shame this is all we got

As good as The Office...less recognition....shame.
@@captainswing4487 Gervais is actually in one of the episodes
I watched this show ten years after it came out. I was fresh off a suicide attempt living at home with my folks and it was therapy for me. Love it.
So much nostalgia. Starting your life with a room mate. Such a cosy and peaceful apartment. They look so comfortable together its gives me that spindly chills.
summer of 2000, getting high asf and chillin with spaced....such vibrant times
ohh momma, that's the good shit
yup, and as a 31 year old i miss my childhood
@@sidmicheals9739 only a couple of years ahead of you, but I feel ya!
@@sidmicheals9739 - you were smoking weed and watching Spaced at 10 years old?
If you need to get high to enjoy life to the fullest you're doing something wrong.
"I thought you were a drug dealer...."
"Ahh thanks"
I love when Marsha says.... Halloooooooooooooow!
Hallow Brian~
Such a relatable show. Wish i could go back and watch it for the first time again.
Brilliant cast! Not sure how I missed watching Spaced when it was first aired. Frost and Pegg are such gorgeous human beings.
Dunno if they're gorgeous but they're fucking hilarious!
@@stevenicol1 they are gorgeous shut up 😂😍
My excuse was that it was on a Friday and I was probably getting spaced at the time.
@@jamesbowen5353 My flatmate would tape Frasier, and this was right after that so it was recorded as well. Amazing!!
The zombie episode is what created Shaun of the dead and eventually the almighty Cornetto trilogy.
Eventually also created paul cause paul was conceived because of shaun if the dead
Oh man how did you know that?! Thanks for sharing.
Lol Daisy's response "heh OK.." to the anniversaries comment is so good
Best sitcom ever! A subtle blend of lateral thinking and extreme violence :P
i just hope it doesn't make you want to drown anything
Please give an example of the lateral thinking.
What, like "It's A Knock Out"?

One of the best shows ever written. Way ahead of its time. Still waiting for that third season Simon..
When will Pegg provide
Its never going to happen. Sad but true.

Probably for the best there isn’t one.
Guys I just watched "Skip to the end" a really good Doc. about the series and at least Simon give us something(little).
I really love this show❤️
So glad I finally watched this Show during the Summer. Pure Comedy Gold.
'So do you like my comic?'
'Yeah... yeah-- oh that reminds me actually, I was talking to Marsha about the rubbish--'
Fucking love the dialogue in this
Savage lol

I`d forgot how brilliant and funny this series was :)
Just binged this series, I miss them already 😓
This show can be rewatched forever. And ever. And ever)))
Happy 20th Birthday, SPACED!!
I think calling someone Pickle is the epitome of adorable; I love how it was used again in Shaun of the Dead ♥
Used to love watching spaced and south park on 4 on Friday nights #nostalgia
Best tv show of my youth.
That scooby doo gag made me laugh way too much
I remember being 12 and watching this on Friday nights when it first aired. I looked at Tim and thought “that’s how I’m gonna be when I grow up”. I couldn’t wait 😂

Awesome no adds! Remember when channel four was all about edgy comedy and new ideas?
Tbf this isn't that edgy, but full of brilliant ideas I agree. For edgy and ch4, see JAM

Simon pegg and nick frost are geniuses
Just noticed that Edgar Wright is one of Frost's Squat mates, passed out as she bids them farewell.
£90/week!? That sounds ludicrous even for twenty years ago!
Dave F I believe Simon Pegg did once say that the funniest joke in the show was the fact they could get a flat in Tufnell Park for £90
That’s a fucking good wage, no?

U mean cheap
Nitey-bucks a week? 😮
Dangle the carrot of possible reconciliation 😄 🤣 just watching again after years...hahaha eeee I used to love this.

Just read Nick Frosts book (would highly recommend)...now time for some spaced.
Back when cigarettes were affordable
Bring back the ten deck 😂
this one season is much funnier that all of the friends ever made
If only they had done 1 more season, even a one off episode.
Did you see the one scene they filmed where they are living together with a baby years later? Very sweet lol
It's here: ruclips.net/video/XnCp3bMbjFo/видео.html
