As a Doom main: Everytime I see Orisa, Zen, Ana, Cassidy or Sombra on the enemy team, I come closer to committing one of the most disturbing crimes in all of human history.
I play Junker Queen not because she's strong but because she makes me feel strong. Everything in her kit (except her Ult) is immensely satisfying, and everytime I get an axe kill a part of my soul just ascends. It's not even an ego thing; It's just, if you're good with Junker Queen, you'll feel like a god.
When I play with junker queen I come in as an executor. If the team can't cooperate or don't have good heroes to counter then they're dead. Only thing stopping me is the counterpart of that or bad teamates
I main Sigma because of his character and his gameplay. Sigma has one of the most endearing personalities that you can’t help feeling bad for him lore wise. That plus he has dynamic gameplay with such a badass ultimate, not to mention his voice actor, top tier with Rammattra
I, too, main Sigma because of his character & gameplay. Especially with his new Mythic Skin and his voice line whenever he gets nano-boosted. "RELEASE ME!"
Your mei opinion is actually so right, I loved to see everyone suffer in my hands! When she lost her freeze is stopped using her, if there’s no suffering then there’s no point
My joy of freezing my enemies has been replaced by the joy of watching them try to run away from me. There is always suffering when mei is on the field
indeed but everyone saying moira isnt a red flag are all red flags themselves. i tried to get back in the game a while ago and man they still havent made her a support character yet.
I think the Sigma take didn't quite do it, Sigma feels like the Ana of tanks where your whole kit is filled with techs and strategy but no movement, he's just so dynamic to play with all the different projectiles
I was 100% in agreement with this tier list up until Sigma then it slowly fell apart for me. All of those green Dps should be in red imo. Also Rein may have been green in ow1 but not in ow2 he is a troll/BM pick now.
I thought you meant he’s the anna of tanks cuz you can climb and do “well” just spamming your buttons at a corner and pretending to play. in which case I’d agree
I prefer to heal and damage boost, but I will battle mercy if the fight calls for it. Sometimes, I'll surprise the opponents with it and get us a last-minute victory since they weren't expecting it. That said, I, a lot of time tend to pull out the pistol to do either covering fire, or provide extra damage for a few seconds so my dps and tank can actually kill, before going back to healing and stuff.
@@Nut3llah i mean yesterday flats was playing Hanzo for a bit and got called fake. He was literally more interested in talking with chat being that it was unranked and said (something to the likes of) "I really hate it when people think you've always gotta give it 110%; gotta always STARE at the screen and give it your all" and someone decided to be a dick. Funny story; the person calling him fake was playing Hanzo.
I play Ramattra because it's fun to swap from a medium range w/ a great shield to throw up for teammates into the "light character obliteratetatron 9000" for a few seconds, which can also face-tank really well. He's reliable, versatile, and VERY powerful when he can steamroll weaker characters. Plus, his actual character is so fun!
Mercy for me is an immediate red flag, they can seem like the nicest person in the room but as soon as you say/do something they don't like they get more vicious than anyone else.
Imo mercy mains are usually one of those pretentiously polite players who do it to be presentable or socially correct, like "good vibes" type of ppl who can easily get toxic if kindness it's not to their self benefit. Some of them are the uwu egirls who just pocket their dps duo and have huge praise kink. And even in their most green flag scenario they are just very casual OW players who don't have the skills but want to do something for their team, but you can't expect much. Anything else just doesn't represent the typical mercy main
@justvibing4796 I feel like Flats ranked all these heroes based on his own experiences in top 500 and that's whole other world. Gold - plat ranks where I'm at and most of the playerbase give different vibes. I personally feel like genji mains here are a better version of reaper, tryhards who look to win duel and hunt potgs and not caring much about teamplay but usually more sociable than the reapers. Widows for me are not at all hot, just annoying ppl who abuse her and think they are CoD players. I would also place brig in the very top of greens. Never seen unpleasant brig main in mid elo. Very polite, team oriented and usually very useful too. Brig vs mercy mains is like difference between heaven and earth
Mercy is the Schrödinger's asshole. There are two types, and one is a big green flag and one is the hardest red flag possible. So yeah, where the hell do you lump the lot of them?
Im both a meme sombra and a troll sombra, the enemy tank was retreating because both his supports died and he was getting no heals, he was going towards a health pack…. That i happened to be near, and i hacked it and spammed boop before running off That reinhardt tank typed in chat: “I both respect that and find that funny, but i also hate you and your entire family lineage”
I’m very late to this but here’s my 2 cents: As a Kiriko main, I would like to formally apologize to all of those who had to suffer from the egotistical Kiriko players who don’t know that she has a healing ability. I wish the good mains on this character could compensate you with something better, but the best I can offer is a hope that you always get cleansed out of your negative effects so that you win your next team fight
I also a Kiriko main, I would also like to apologise on behalf of all the Kiriko's who have used their suzu selfishly instead of cleansing their team and who also are just generally trying to be a damage hero. Again, sorry for those who have had these negative experiences.
@CardellWurry maybe, but unless you have another support on the team, you leave your team in a bad situation. But as long as you at least keep the team alive, I don't see anything wrong with damage Kiriko.
As a hog Main I agree Btw don't hate on me for maining hog The one shot was obviously busted but I've played him through every iteration including the nerfs so I don't only play him when he's busted
As a Zen main, he is completely correct about the self awareness aspect and the usually very ‘in my lane’ type of thing. However another minor grouping when it comes to Zen mains are the people who want to be DPS, but at the same time want to be helpful when it comes to heals and discord
He just hates Zen because he actually his to respect him. Rein mains hate it when a character does lethal damage or have cc. They don't want anything to be a threat to them.
@@StupidityInANutshell not a bad thing when your dps end up being useless. So many times after 3 or 4 brutally lost fights I end up switching to zen and doing their work for em. Call me a red flag don’t care lol. Better to get the victory and be branded a red flag than loose and feel bad
@@GoatOfWarI’m a rein main and I love zen granted we all know that discord orb is broken but other then that zen is fine and he’s fun but I do agree that flats just hates zen. As soon as the topic of zen comes to flats he just gets upset
I don't, I like Hanzo because of his personality and how challenging he is. I think he just said some random things about Hanzo and expected someone to agree and while I 80% agree with choices of his pick Hanzo is the most I disagree with but Pharah gets a green flag? Hell nah
@justvibing4796 heres a tip try using brawlier character if they are going to play sneak hanzo like torb, reaper or even brig if ur on dps or support if they are poking you from afar just try to stick with cover like an entrance a wall with an opening or even a tree. If you are playing tank then just go dive like winton, hampter or dva not doom tho he is too fragile
@@fxk123u really think that hanzo is easy? Try to predict enemies movement, try to choose good spots(long range). Additionally u dont spam shots everytime if ur a good hanzo main, u use them by once.
@@zbyszek_pitorowskizen is awesome, you just have to accept that your primary means of supporting your team are marking targets and helping pick those targets. your orb of harmony isn't really that impactful of a healing ability, but combined with attentive gameplay zen is still incredibly strong
@@mommy_cass they're either so kind n caring tryna keep everyone alive, or jaded and enraged from keeping everyone on life support so often. I swear how often I watch my dps face tank some damage, only survive because I'm healing them and then walk *right* back into it. Having also played DPS, I know that's kinda what you have to do but still. Hurts every time. Like saving a baby bird stuck in your fence or something, only to watch it get hit by a car.
Flats really hit the nail for us Ramattra players. Most of us resonate with Ramattra’s “suffering” from his lore so we play him because we like him, and also Nemesis form is fun as hell. Also putting Kirkio in Hog tier is entirely true. The game before I uninstalled OW I had a Kirkio call us all shit before leaving. If you do this, I hope both sides of your pillows are warm and you feel super moist and sweaty when you go to bed.
I'm a Brigitte main, I just love to be a Mini Reinhardt that can heal the team and join the big boys only sometimes. We certainly aren't tanks but it's fun when the tank dies and the other support focuses on you while you 1v4 the team as you await everyone else to come back. Either that or you absolutely murder the other team on your own and thank your Ana for believing in you. I've been Nano boosted a few times while the tank is still alive and I was just keeping our DPS units alive.
Oh yeah, Nano brig goes crazy, just in general me playing is like 90% of the time: 😑 pretty calm, collected being helpful using your brain. Knocking enemies off the map etc. 10% of the time: *The Doom Music kicks in* and it's just Adrenaline until either you or the entire enemy team is dead.
@@_burningshadow_8010 Debatable lol. Once you hit gold it's not as successful. Still fun but sometimes the random teams can be rough in solo queue especially if they try to 1 v5 off angle when the team isn't even ready etc.
@@ianchambers37 was talking about bronze though 😅. I have been in Gold and maybe even Silver early on and yeah I definitely couldn't get away with *as much* as you would be able to in bronze... even so despite brig being very different back then and still having armor packs. It was generally a lot easier to stay alive and get away with stuff in Gold than it is on Diamond. That said... it was years ago so obviously that's hard to compare.
Actually, I’m the type of Zarya player that’s the opposite of what Flats says: I started as a support main, and when I first got into tanking, I always found Zarya appealing and thought of her like a big support-I could get value from overextending teammates and often save them with bubbles and help myself build charge too! As a support player, I found that being knowledgeable of when teammates are likely to take damage, then being rewarded for it, was satisfying ☺️💖
Definitely agree, her being the only tank with a teammate burst protection ability gives her some teamwork vibes. Most tanks are primarily designed to headhunt or sustain forever.
I started offtanking in OW1 and was definitely just playing her as the dps for the infinite gold medals. Back then it wasn't as common to top frag on tank.
Im saying every other because whenever you lose you get flamed which is like 50% of games. Sure you also get flamed if you win but thats not so bad because hey youre winning
As a Zen main, I am all for Discord nerfs, however I am in the camp where I think his kick passive is a good fit for him and fits the "monk" thematic personally, and as someone dabbles in/enjoys Lucio and Mercy, I take it. My reasons for maining a character was never "Oh it's OP/powerful" it was always "I enjoy their personality and this one skin is really fucking cool." Zenyatta kind of just makes me happy to play, his voicelines are fun.
As a Reaper Main: I am in fact the most hype, fun and out there player you could ever meet, I'm the one that laughs at everything done in my friend group irl and when playing games, coming across someone more fun then me is almost impossible, and the amount of times you have been spared when a reaper has found you in a corner scared is mental if you've played since the start overwatch 2 or before
As a lucio main, we are secretly yelling at our screens as we watch a rein charge by himself. But in comms we are putting on the customer service face.
bro, faaaaacts. *tank goes in 1.5v5 with just you alive* *"una furtiva lacrima" blaring* lucio main in comms: :D almost, dude! lucio main internally: *absolutely wreckless language* it's like y'all don't wanna ruin lucio's image lmao
As a sombra main. I cannot explain the pure joy you get when you’ve cancelled the enemy high noon four times in a row and you get up in the Cassidy’s face and point blank kill their ass because they’re too busy raging at you in match chat. If that makes me an evil little bastard then so be it lmao
i am that sombra meme sometimes but i am actually hesitant to use sombra because i hear that sombra gets a lot of shit, i prefer tracer, 76, and reaper, but i like sombra more because i wanna be that one invis person that depending on my mood is a evil little shit or just the meme
Idk about the Kiriko one. I rarely encounter a toxic one. Mainly Kiriko is just hard to play effectively since you have to make a lot of split second decisions about flanks, know the most efficient routes to not waste time, AND have good enough mechanics to make them count while watching the front line fight and being ready to tp back at the right time to the right person as well. Harder than any other support imo, at least in terms of decision making and execution. So when you don't play as well on her, it makes you look like a jackass because you probably died flanking or something and that just makes it look like you're not even trying to heal and just feeding. When in reality your goal was to tp back when in trouble but you misclicked, misjudged the situation, etc. and got killed. Meanwhile as Bap or Ana or really any other flex support, I can just sit in the backline and even if I'm playing like shit my team will probably endorse me and be happy with me just for existing and trying to play a fairly basic game plan. This is no shade at these characters--I am a diamond Bap/Kiriko main who has a pool of Ana, Zen, and Brig occasionally. I enjoy playing most supports and think they're interesting. But it's just way easier for people to tell that I'm trying and have good intentions on like any other support than Kiriko. Despite having similar win rates, my Bap gets flamed far far FAR far less than my Kiriko or any other character I play. Maybe Kirikos get more toxic at Master's+ level? Or maybe at the lowest ranks they're particularly toxic?
@@SylviaRozemyne Mercy and Moira just attract toxic people because of their accessibility. Moira you get the selfishness trait in people for obvious reasons. And particularly on Mercy you often see toxic duos where some DPS player is boosting their Mercy waifu or whatever and they're both insufferable. But I have to say Ana is the sleeper pick of the supports because you get your fair share of toxicity simply because she's so frequently picked (most in the entire roster of characters in OW I believe) so you undoubtedly encounter more toxic Anas than you would expect.
As someone who has played an ungodly amount of rat in unranked the last weeks, he's just fun. It's fun to try different crazy stuff and see what works. Sometimes you use your mines to flank the enemy team and get 3 kills, sometimes the entire team instantly turns around and delete you. But one thing I've noticed is that EVERY time I die on Junkrat I think "yeah I had that coming". Either because I got reckless, jumped away to a place where my team's supports couldn't help me or by being outsmarted by an enemy flanker. Tbh it has really helped my mindset, because if I'm playing a more team-oriented character like a support I get a bit annoyed if I die to a flanker because I feel like my team could at least try to help me. It's helping me to focus more on what I did wrong than what my team did wrong.
Once again, the paradox of Fitzy - Nicest dude in the world, mains Sombra and Mei. My long time theory is that he is so nice **because** he 'vents' all his nasty parts by playing the heroes he plays.
Cause Sombra and Mei aren’t that toxic. Flats is just bias, and y’all like Flats so you agree with his opinion and don’t form your own based on your experiences.
@@Gr0ot Lol, what ridiculous nonsense. I play tons of Sombra and Mei and I play them **because** I enjoy fucking over people. That's not a "take" - that's their fucking kit. Sombra cancels abilities and ambushes people. Spawn camping is a key part of her value. Mei slows and walls and spams - she prevents movement, prevents people from playing the game, and then every once and a while headshots you from across the map. They're both super frustrating heroes to play against **by design** - anyone who says they don't enjoy frustrating the other team while playing them is lying. That's their **entire** gig.
"Ooh Flats released a tier list of what your main says about you! This will be fun!" "Zarya, red. Echo, red. Mei, red (understandable)..." "Hoo, boy... This is less fun than I thou--" "Ana is an easy green." "I AM REFORMED!"
6:40 Hey! I love my hamster robot dude, and I'm not like that, so stop throwing random shade at us Wrecking Ball players. Think about it, all characters are annoying when people play them right, so if you think that we are annoying, it's probably because every time you played against Wrecking Ball, they were playing him right.
6:00 i play her cause she is the character embodiment of the varsity jacket wearing bully stereotypes who beat people up for lunch money. As a Queen NOTHING makes me happier then cornering a healer, especially mercy or anyone without a solid get out of jail card, and wacking her ass
I was originally a Tracer main in OW1 and have been going back to playing her a lot I can say that we are so focused on our own self improvement that we completely miss most of the other shenanigans 😅 We try to help when we can and if supports heal us between fights they have a permanent body guard
Agree, as a Tracer main too, love peeling for my supports especially if they're amazing at it. Also love peeling for my Zen, Ana, Mercy, Kiriko, Lifeweaver teammates
Flats, yes, the mercy choice was a surprise but you are very sweet. As a mercy main that swaps I think the mercys that don't swap make us yellow. Love you for advocating for us. The inner darkness comment killed me haha i agree, it takes a special kind of person
I guess I am one of those few Kiriko mains that has the balance between flanking and supporting. I don't play her to only dps on support, I love her flanking/supporting hybrid style especially when playing with flankers. And when I need to support, I tp back and switch my playstyle to more supporting style. Also as a Tracer main, I agree with her being in green tier. Tracer mains are just living in their own worlds and trying their best perfecting the hardest hero in the game.
Most of the kiris I've run into below plat pocket the tank and then go but look at all my healing. Just go win the 2v1 duel like the support is gonna just ignore me. It's either that or they DPS their brains out wondering why everyone is dying while they took 20 seconds to win a duel they never had to take.
Y'know what, something about junker queen just drew me to her. She's fun, I guess strong but idk what her appeal was, but then flats said mommy issues and my eyes were opened
As a Pharah main, not having Mercy all the time has actually made me better because it forces me to compensate for the health weakness with movement. Also, playing Quake online has taught me how to lead my shots really well, it's great.
I find absolute clarity and glee in knowing being a Bastion and Bap Main is good, also, someones gotta edit a video of a vine boom for every downside flats says about Kiriko :)
On the take about Zarya, I agree with Graf3X. I feel like OW1 Zarya would've been a green flag, maybe yellow, if they were paired with the Rein. It was a super comfy fun time whenever I'd see that vs double shields....
i play zarya bc all my friends cant tank only dps support. basically used to dps (genji/tracer) in ow1, but got forced into to the tank role in my usual stack. kinda fun anyways
Hi Flats, long time viewer, first-time subscriber. I'd like to start by saying that I am beyond insulted. As a bronze reaper main for over two years now, I cannot accurately describe the feelings in my body right now, and that's not just cause I stopped taking my meds. I cannot believe you didn't put us in a sub Hog tier of our own. It is a disgrace to my average damage, win rate, and other extremely high numbers that I feel we all as reaper mains deserve. Other than that, love the content. Less than three.
@@Beyondqqq I have always found spawn camping weird to me, like you are just putting the team in a 4v4 with less damage. I have never found it to be worth it unless you can get pressure on the actual backline too. I mean the whole hope is that your team kills someone else and then you can't really spawn camp anymore.
@@Ontarianmm typically spawn camping is situational, where your team is respawning or regrouping and you can get a pick that will make it into a 5v4. or it forces the team to peel for whoever is getting spawn camped. tbh its just fun to be a gremlin
In medal you can heal bot on her and it's effective enough and everyone loves you. At higher ranks, you have to start actually maximizing your value by going for flanks. It is just very hard to have the right balance and when you die, you look especially silly and it makes it look like you are some egotistical maniac when in reality you just fucked up on getting your tp out in time or got overwhelmed trying to track too many things. Of course there are dickhead Kiriko players just like any other role but people just get mad at Kiriko players a lot more in higher ranks for these reason. Basically a lack of empathy or understanding of how the character operates.
@@ccricers You kinda have to be able to flank alone a lot. It's not even like you need to get a kill. Just put some pressure on, make the enemies look at you, bait them into certain positions, etc. The beauty of Kiriko is all that type of utility you provide. My favorite thing is getting someone to follow me while I'm on a flank, have them waste their resources chasing me down, and then I tp back to my tank and we walk on them because they have no cooldowns. Shit like that is why she's cool.
@@jamesburnett3594 ok i change my mind, got a kiriko that flats talk about in diamond, absolutely obnoxious. My team was close to winning at first point, and this kiriko went and challenged the Hanzo, got shat on and cost us the game. Whole match this guy kept dpsing. The enemy had 20K heals, and he had 10K. I change my mind about Kiriko players, they're obnoxious and exactly what Flats described them as.
I would try to rally the echo mains together like that lucio main did but I would probably somehow get a negative count of people rallying with how little of us there are 😂
Yea I'm not sure how echo got red flagged while sym got yellow, sym mains are probably some of the most sadistic people on the planet 😂 these are the people that bully new genji mains in silver and gold, honestly prob the reason genji mains arent green flags. Or the fact widows got green when most widow mains are greesy one tricks or people coming from valorant lol echo mains are typically people that have played flex so long that when they do play dps they find echo to be the most suitable to them since they can play everything in the game and use all echos projectiles in tandem, so echo mains are the people that used to flex to what the team needs back before role queue and those are some of the most green flag people in the game lol
I have recently been doing some reflection on my life and wondering where it went wrong. This video finally helped me realize that it was once I started maining hog. I was fine until I started ruining every single game of illios well. Now hog is over 3 times the hours of my second most played. Help me.
Oh, and the only way im jumping into a well is if I am taking your Bap, Ana, Rien, bastion, cass, mei, zariya, zen, torb, sym, JQ, sojurn, soldier, lifeweaver, brig, sig, or ram with me.
As a Ram player: When Flats said all that about Ram I shed a tear.😂 That was so real and relatable. Flats, you described my teen years perfectly. Well done😂 Man I’m DEAD🤣🤣🤣🤣😊😊
@@Broockle yes Lucio. Reddit luicios exist. They’ll do the most troll moves. They’ll force Lucio when it doesn’t make sense for the map our team comp. Definite easy yellow
As a bastian main, you are 100% correct. I have never seen such a good take on this. All I ever hear is pure confusion, nothing at all, anger, or we eat glue and play with toys or whatever.
It's rough out here for heavy-gun-guy. Doesn't matter if you play poorly, okay, or brilliantly; a salty player will just say your character takes no skill anyway.
38:18 I'm crying in the corner right now. I play Kiriko, but I focus a lot on making sure my teammates are ok, and only sneak in damage when I'm on ofuda cooldown or when my team is full hp. None of what you said describes me except the part when you said "They don't have the mechanical skill" bc I know I can't aim Also I don't play Kiriko because she's good, I play her because foxes are my favorite animal, so... yeah
He hasn't had time to meet real kiriko mains because he plays so much ranked and so many kiriko players only play(ed) her bc she was the best character at the time.
- Sigma and DVa feel so rewarding because they can provide and protect their teams in many ways, and it's mainly why we main them. - Genji is only hated by Support mains who can't reach him while he's spamming I need healing. - Most Meis are primary fire spammers but hey you gotta respect us the ones who know how to land their right-clicks and counter ults with her walls. - Pharahs are annoying to have only if they expect a full pocket. Sorry sis, but I have a duo Support that needs help once in a while you know. - Ana is love - I hate playing with Lucios just because majority don't know how to use him. So I end up being the only Support or a Tank with no real pocket. - Mercy is a complicated case. We have the right to be mean but also we need to understand that she doesn't work in every situation so it's normal for people to asking us to switch. - Sombra is Doom for Dps btw. If you hate her okay, but we go through hell to enjoy her. The enemy team hate us, our team hate us, and you need to think and act fast or you're wasting time which means more bully from both sides. The bully we get is immeasurable and a Rein main won't understand it. We all love to have a Rein in our team. However, we play her because it feels good to outsmart people. this game is about abilities. and expecting abilities, then countering them (like saving your poor Ana who can't run way from an ulting Sig, Moira or Orisa) is so rewarding. We're not greedy. We love to enable our team, and give them info. Every single game is a battle with everyone in the lobby to prove ourselves. - Widow mains are the ones with the highest ego most of the time. I don't care if they're hot or not, they ruin the game for everyone (even more than Sombra btw because unlike her, Widow can't be really contested unless you have a good Widow yourself. Sombra on the other hand can be handled by a ton of characters if they use their brain). However, I like to work with Widow mains and give them walls. I think we're an unstoppable duo - Great video btw! it was so funny.
Mei respect... mmm nope. Think they all use RMB too. Tho I will go Mei in those last second moments where the payload is about to reach the end or something I'm definitely not above that😂
Yea im a Doom and Ball main and i respect Sombra MAINS but not people who go Sombra because they're pissed that they're getting rolled by high skill heroes like Ball or Doom, and then proceed to sit in the backline the entire match waiting for the Doom or Ball to engage and then hack them
My buddy Eric plays Lucio and this one time, on New Queens Street, I was playing Sigma and I ulted the enemy team and this guy came from the skybox to take a sleep dart for me, Lucio players are something else man
Confident and knows what their doing Moira main here. I got no problems taking accountability but when i tell you there’s games that are COMPLETELY out of my control due to teammates or leavers. I try to take positions so my team can slowly move up, finish off one taps, or just directing attention away from my team.
Cool. Every character I regularly play is in the Green Flag zone so I'm gonna be bold and just declare this an excellent list. While I do play Kiriko, she isn't my support main and I don't play her like that but I have met those Kiriko players so I'm just gonna file that away under the "I totally understand" folder of my mental filing cabinet.
With hanzo, in low elo, there are a good few good ones that play him for fun because they enjoy the feeling when they get a lucky headshot or a clutch flick headshot, but still want to be up in the action for it.
I wasn't expecting to actually get called out! Flats knows what he's talking about. I used to play strictly DPS, but now I play some Zarya. Another great video!
@TheSuperGameCollecto the game doesn't love him. Even with literally everyone loving him; he will never get the love in game that he needs. He needs his armor back and his shield needs a buff. Too many things bypass his shield now and it breaks far too easily that it's basically cosmetic at this point.
As a reaper main that will occasionally maybe solo ult Ana that has been sleeping me or nading me a lot in qp, I completely understand XD though I will speak for my fellow reapers that saving our supports from a happy "innocent" Winton or our favorite invisible spy when we're not trying to shoot the tank or go for a sneaky flank is a joy for us.
Yes I agree solo ult Ana is a perfectly reasonable thing to do or I'll usually solo ult a mei or moira for being so annoying but I think that is reasonable
As a flex player, my tank main used to be old orisa (OW1) but don’t like playing orisa anymore EXCEPT on Lijang tower. That map is so fun for her. Now I Junk because she’s just so fun to play. Dps used to be Mei (played as off tank rather than freeze assassin) but again with the ow2 changes I’ve been getting into much more phara than before. Though I tried out venture and they’re really fun… For healer, I used to play Anna almost exclusively and had killer sleeps. Now I actually play a lot more Moria.
Out of the few other Sombra mains ive encountered theyre usually alright. They tend to be pretty humble and quite skilled as their hero consistently gets abused by the dev team, so they have to really be good at what they do. A lot of Sombra players are also that type of person that gets repeatedly abused for playing the character, so most have a decently thick skin. You have to have one if youre going to get t-bagged every game by anyone who lands an accidental shot on you while invisible. And some of them are hilarious funny trolls. We do absolutely enjoy the feeling of shutting down ultimates and plays though. Fulfills the scheme desire. Cant deny it. Maybe its just the outlet for being hated constantly though. No idea. Most of the bad Sombra players are the people counter swapping to shut down a tank that mildly pissed them off in that lobby.
Reinhardt main here. Overwatch was the game that introduced me to the concept of the meta. When teenage me learned that there were players who didn't want to play Rein but felt forced to by the meta, it made me genuinely sad for them. Overwatch's pendulum balance has beaten that sympathy out of me by now, but it was there originally lol.
I'm a support main ( Moria and Ana mostly still fairly new ) i would like to argue that there is one more Moria that the middle of the ones you mentioned who is doing a good job with doing damage and heal that is not always in their back line.
I'm a Moira player and I was thinking the same thing, that Moira player who is in the back line popping heals for everyone then diving in with the genji or tracer or reaper or whoever, diving into the back line to pick off the enemy supports, harassing the DPS and tanks and popping back to the back lines to pop some heals around
Yeah I'm a moira main and I'm usually pretty involved in team fights n such, I'm right in the middle so I can be safely behind the tank but still have access to heal most of my teammates and do damage to regain heals, and if I end up too involved I can easily fade out :] I love Moira's mobility and the orbs are incredibly useful
As a soldier man I felt crush he’s considered a red flag. But you’re spot on with being set in our ways. I love his design, and he’s pretty easy for me to use. For me I suck so bad at a lot of other heros. So if I can’t play Soldier I typically go D’va. I also like soldier cuz of his healing pad. Though it’s harder to heal teammates unless we are huddled in a corner or doorway. Also soldier’s voice is just amazing.
As a hardcore Mercy main that superchat summed me up pretty well. I like to be nice and kind to me team but if the enemy team pisses me off I turn into a fighter jet gremlin and make them wish they never installed the game
Same! I’m either hardcore flying around getting heals to everyone when they’re all crit, dmg boosting and getting clutch rezzes, often getting 0 kills. But…I run into problems. Annoying widow: hurricane katrina Enemy mercy that I thought we were chill but then she starts targeting me: ITS WAR. AND I ALWAYS WIN
I have 3 different characters I played as a gold/plat level player. I am very happy to say that they are all in green flag. I play dva as tank, torb as dps, and Lucio as support but have also started playing Juno now. As a Torb main, they are rare to come across, but when you do they are some of the most fun people to play with even when you lose. I actually agree with chat in dva being in yellow, because dva’s just like to annoy everyone. They generally tend to be good people but just annoying af. Lucio’s are just funny and fun to be around. Although some people try to be too much of a parkour pro on him to the dismay of the team.
19:14 completely agree with your take. Genji mains are committed. Sometimes they go toxic because of how many times we get counter swapped by no aim heroes, but from the ones I’ve seen, they’re generally wholesome. And I never type “gg tank diff” in the chat lol. I try to stay positive and be nice to everyone. And the “I need healing” thing doesn’t really happen often at all. Only when I get double dps supports
As a Doom main: Everytime I see Orisa, Zen, Ana, Cassidy or Sombra on the enemy team, I come closer to committing one of the most disturbing crimes in all of human history.
Fax those heros are the reason why we are like this

The hero we needed 🫂
The Orisa assessment was spot on, speaking as an Orisa main 😂
I play Junker Queen not because she's strong but because she makes me feel strong. Everything in her kit (except her Ult) is immensely satisfying, and everytime I get an axe kill a part of my soul just ascends. It's not even an ego thing; It's just, if you're good with Junker Queen, you'll feel like a god.
Axe kills are my favorite. Or when i snatch someone back with knife when they run, always makes me laugh like a maniac
That ult will be satisfying eventually cause you will encounter a team who decides to get in a nice line by accident
Agreed, playing JQ feels a bit like Rein with a Zarya in OW1, . It just feels... right.
When I play with junker queen I come in as an executor. If the team can't cooperate or don't have good heroes to counter then they're dead. Only thing stopping me is the counterpart of that or bad teamates
I can’t play her I just get melted instantly
Rammattra interacting with Bastion is the most adorable interaction ever. It's like a dad talking a kid.
"You appear to have a... bird following you, w-why?"
*Beep Boop Beep*
"Interesting... Well, if I see any twigs, I will let you know."
This honestly makes Bastion's story more heartbreaking, he's a robot child with PTSD
i love the ram and zen chats too
All Ram conversations are peak
Bastion is older than ramattra tho? 😂
I main Sigma because of his character and his gameplay. Sigma has one of the most endearing personalities that you can’t help feeling bad for him lore wise. That plus he has dynamic gameplay with such a badass ultimate, not to mention his voice actor, top tier with Rammattra
I mained Sigma Because of the Voice Line "WHAT IS THAT MELODY"😂😂😂
I just like hitting people with balls we are not the same
I, too, main Sigma because of his character & gameplay. Especially with his new Mythic Skin and his voice line whenever he gets nano-boosted. "RELEASE ME!"
sigma is my main tank purely because im also dutch
I'm a very aggressive player and I like sigma's range (and character) i prefer to play him on defense only though
@@kemo7821I miss old mei. So badly. She was my FAVORITE character. First golden gun. They needed her and now I’m left with just pharah.
I’m right there with you, man
They still suffer. You just can’t get that head shot but she melts now…..
Mei the character and Mei the player/kit is so different it’s hilarious. She would never want people to suffer but her players do.
“Horny but nice people” Brother, that can apply to anybody who plays overwatch
It's always either "horny but nice" or "horny but toxic"
Not the nice part
I only recently got back into OW, and I’m happy to hear that we’re still calling Moira’s healing piss. A good joke will never die
indeed but everyone saying moira isnt a red flag are all red flags themselves. i tried to get back in the game a while ago and man they still havent made her a support character yet.
JARATE!
As a new OW Player, that's new to me xD
Jarate.. NOOOOO
GOOD JOKES NEVAH DIE!
I think the Sigma take didn't quite do it, Sigma feels like the Ana of tanks where your whole kit is filled with techs and strategy but no movement, he's just so dynamic to play with all the different projectiles
Huh? Isn’t that what he said?
I was 100% in agreement with this tier list up until Sigma then it slowly fell apart for me. All of those green Dps should be in red imo. Also Rein may have been green in ow1 but not in ow2 he is a troll/BM pick now.
I thought you meant he’s the anna of tanks cuz you can climb and do “well” just spamming your buttons at a corner and pretending to play. in which case I’d agree
As a mercy main i can confirm that we have that frightening inner darkness inside of each mercy main that battle mercy.
I prefer to heal and damage boost, but I will battle mercy if the fight calls for it. Sometimes, I'll surprise the opponents with it and get us a last-minute victory since they weren't expecting it.
That said, I, a lot of time tend to pull out the pistol to do either covering fire, or provide extra damage for a few seconds so my dps and tank can actually kill, before going back to healing and stuff.
as a moira mercy main.... I have two wolves inside of me.
i use my inner mercy darkness to play mei later to ruin some lives.
@@blawndierexhaha same as me xD - just to make some dark rituals in my living room after my games.

I DO WHAT I want

As a Kiriko main, I would like to formally apologize to all of those who had to suffer from the egotistical Kiriko players who don’t know that she has a healing ability.
Only damaging on Kiriko is better than only healing

Or maybe at the lowest ranks they're particularly toxic?
same here i never met a toxic kiriko either we are usually just enjoying the game its usually mercys and moiras that are extremely toxic
I think it’s an exact description for my friend, who mains Kirito
Damn thats crazy

As Bap being my most played hero I’m happy to hear this. I love healing the tanks of my team and making sure they don’t die I’m hyped for Mauga.
The best part of this is watching flats chat turn against him
As someone who has played an ungodly amount of rat in unranked the last weeks, he's just fun.
Playing Echo, I never get bored. It's like a new puzzle to solve every game with the ultimate.

Left Click+ Mine is so powerful. Kills most characters without even needing a trap. How is this fare? 😅
Screw Junkrat mains 🤣
6:40 Hey! I love my hamster robot dude, and I'm not like that, so stop throwing random shade at us Wrecking Ball players. Think about it, all characters are annoying when people play them right, so if you think that we are annoying, it's probably because every time you played against Wrecking Ball, they were playing him right.
i did not expected such rage about kiriko lol
I never felt so bad for playing a character lmao (this will not stop me)
Flats really dissed Kiriko more furiously than hog lol.
All my mains were yellow or above, I feel better about myself as a person and definitely appreciate this confidence boost thank you flats
6:00 i play her cause she is the character embodiment of the varsity jacket wearing bully stereotypes who beat people up for lunch money. As a Queen NOTHING makes me happier then cornering a healer, especially mercy or anyone without a solid get out of jail card, and wacking her ass
I was originally a Tracer main in OW1 and have been going back to playing her a lot
I can say that we are so focused on our own self improvement that we completely miss most of the other shenanigans 😅
We try to help when we can and if supports heal us between fights they have a permanent body guard
Mercy players try not to complain when op ability gets nerfed
@@Bubbagaming90000( impossible)
He didn't even mention the Mercys nostalgic for mass res. Even tho calling them Bot Mercy is still pretty accurate.
As a torb main i take pride in being a link hole and HAMMER DUAL WITH OTHER TORBS
Yo someone with my two mains too lets go
sureee
Most of the kiris I've run into below plat pocket the tank and then go but look at all my healing. Just go win the 2v1 duel like the support is gonna just ignore me. It's either that or they DPS their brains out wondering why everyone is dying while they took 20 seconds to win a duel they never had to take.
As a kiriko player myself, you may take care of your team but you hear the darkness call out to you
Ayo fellow TracerKiriko main yoooo
Y'know what, something about junker queen just drew me to her. She's fun, I guess strong but idk what her appeal was, but then flats said mommy issues and my eyes were opened
your name is milky milk too 🤔
So true
so real 😭
As a Pharah main, not having Mercy all the time has actually made me better because it forces me to compensate for the health weakness with movement. Also, playing Quake online has taught me how to lead my shots really well, it's great.
Ramattra doesn't give hugs he gives headpats
I think JQ is one of the most fun hero’s to play, so happy to see her strong rn
Been waiting since November
I find absolute clarity and glee in knowing being a Bastion and Bap Main is good, also, someones gotta edit a video of a vine boom for every downside flats says about Kiriko :)
On the take about Zarya, I agree with Graf3X. I feel like OW1 Zarya would've been a green flag, maybe yellow, if they were paired with the Rein. It was a super comfy fun time whenever I'd see that vs double shields....
IDK in OW1 as an offtank they were even more so just dps who switched roles. Source: I was a dps who switched to offtank before it was removed.
i play zarya bc all my friends cant tank only dps support. basically used to dps (genji/tracer) in ow1, but got forced into to the tank role in my usual stack. kinda fun anyways
That junkrat segment is literally me, both of them
Arguing in all chat is my ultimate and sometimes i just make them go boom
As a Sombra main, I 100% agree being a gremlin and timing hacks and EMPs gives me an inexplicable level of freudenschade 😈
Schadenfreude
Cancelling ultimates, spawn killing Mercy and Zen, hacking their tank repeatedly...the devil's work
@@Beyondqqq I have always found spawn camping weird to me, like you are just putting the team in a 4v4 with less damage. I have never found it to be worth it unless you can get pressure on the actual backline too. I mean the whole hope is that your team kills someone else and then you can't really spawn camp anymore.
@@Ontarianmm typically spawn camping is situational, where your team is respawning or regrouping and you can get a pick that will make it into a 5v4. or it forces the team to peel for whoever is getting spawn camped. tbh its just fun to be a gremlin
there is a special place in hell for sombra mains
As a Sombra main I feel ibligated to either be silly goofy or start psychological warfare with the enemies
that sounds about right
me watching Moira at the end of the list already knowing damn well where she’s going
For supports it depends. Metal kirikos are some of the easiest green flags, but I can see why a high rank dps-wannabe kiriko would be a red flag.
I was pretty disappointed when Kiriko came out and they gave her a high accuracy projectile... I instantly lost interest in her 😅
I don't really like flanking alone as Kiriko but I would tag along with a mobile DPS such as Tracer.
I would try to rally the echo mains together like that lucio main did but I would probably somehow get a negative count of people rallying with how little of us there are 😂
We are few and far between
Echo got done dirty
As an Echo main, my girl got done dirty😭😭
im right here! we stand united :]
I am a winton/jq main, I play winton because monke and JQ because the brawl/dive hybrid playstyle she had is something I love
I have recently been doing some reflection on my life and wondering where it went wrong. This video finally helped me realize that it was once I started maining hog. I was fine until I started ruining every single game of illios well. Now hog is over 3 times the hours of my second most played. Help me.
Once you go hog there is no going back. I'm a hardcore hog main and it's hard...
you have taken the first step towards redemption.. the next one starts right at the edge of that well.
Its a hard life, but it is like an addiction, as long as I don’t see a problem with it, I will continue to ruin my life.
Oh, and the only way im jumping into a well is if I am taking your Bap, Ana, Rien, bastion, cass, mei, zariya, zen, torb, sym, JQ, sojurn, soldier, lifeweaver, brig, sig, or ram with me.

Lucio really? nah
Literally fr
38:18 I'm crying in the corner right now. I play Kiriko, but I focus a lot on making sure my teammates are ok, and only sneak in damage when I'm on ofuda cooldown or when my team is full hp. None of what you said describes me except the part when you said "They don't have the mechanical skill" bc I know I can't aim
Also I don't play Kiriko because she's good, I play her because foxes are my favorite animal, so...
- Ana is love
- I hate playing with Lucios just because majority don't know how to use him.
I think we're an unstoppable duo
- Great video btw! it was so funny.
Mei respect... mmm nope. Think they all use RMB too.
Tho I will go Mei in those last second moments where the payload is about to reach the end or something
I'm definitely not above that😂
im with you on the widow points. i was baffled to see them ranked in green
@@nameunknown5106
if you contrast it with 'Hanzos are unconfident WMs' then I can follow the line of logic.
Yea im a Doom and Ball main and i respect Sombra MAINS but not people who go Sombra because they're pissed that they're getting rolled by high skill heroes like Ball or Doom, and then proceed to sit in the backline the entire match waiting for the Doom or Ball to engage and then hack them
31:16 I love the voice chiming in right after he’s done talking 😭.
Also: Mercy’s are usually nice unless you like piss them off and it’s over.
Another great video!
ye that was an interesting analysis
I got excited for Orisa when they remade her skillsets. Throwing and spinning the javelin are way more fun than plopping down shields
I'm not standing behind the barrier, YOU stand behind the barrier!
I miss Halt though, so much. It was dumb fun and always looked hilarious when you got kills with it.
I play queen cause im there for a god damned fight and that is EXACTLY what queen is there to do. A good old fashioned brawl.
Feeling loved as a Rein Main... Finally someone willing to show some love to the poor old man
Even if Flats doesn't get to enjoy the old man s much these days he will forever be the Rein King!
What do you mean literally everyone likes Rein
Ana is just annoying asf.
Yeah but its worth it if its ball 😂
Boop!
we do a little trolling
I've seen one cuss at Me in Spanish.
As someone who plays ball and sombra i hate and love her
Reinhardt main here.
I was season 2 OW1, I started getting forced to Rein, by Season 4 I was a proud Rein main
I honestly completely ignore the meta at all times, I just play who I want. Even if I get hard countered, whoever I find fun that day, I stay on
Sombra actually makes me wanna take my life everytime

You warm my heart with the bastion commentary. As a day one bastion main I approve

my jaw DROPPED when he put echo in red i am heart broken
The definition of good echo ult is "Im better than you at this hero". You have to face the fact.
I don’t main hog, but I play him to shut off my brain in qp when I’m playing at midnight or smth
Immediately knew Doomfist was gunna be a red flag 💀💀💀
600 hours 😫
As a moira main, I feel honored to see people like u guys around here
As a soldier man I felt crush he’s considered a red flag.
Annoying widow: hurricane katrina
Enemy mercy that I thought we were chill but then she starts targeting me: ITS WAR. AND I ALWAYS WIN
As an Ana main, I am always happy if i can help my dps pop off, but I also play her because I want to watch the world burn
You're a retired WM 🤣
