the only thing i agree with is that unironically i do believe this game is pretty hard to learn. bringing up a harder game to learn isn't really a point.
I think the problem with Mercy is that her boosted damage value isn't shown on the stats screen for other players. That screen is what Tiktok players care for the most. They look at the stats and think: "Oh, she only healed and did nothing else", completely ignoring damage boost and revives.
That was what made having a mercy in gold when climbing so painful. No matter how nice you ask for a damage boost mercy players freak the fuck out and shart screaming about their healing and how you should be able to kill without a pocket... Even though you killed 3 before you were killed. It got better in plat.
@@antiprime4665 I managed to somehow hit diamond 5 as tank and now I'm struggling in games because I don't have the gamesense/knowledge so i'm just stuck now.
If I were blind, and I wanted to know what something looked like, I'd prefer to have an opinion of a person who had gone blind. They would have better chance to know what to relate, and in what terms to explain. OW2 coaching has lots of the issue. See the "educational" placement to gm vids aplenty, people are singing along to their own current mechanical actions, situational obscure hints and advice like "use aim trainer." It's omnipresent though. There are math problem youtube videos where creators narrate the railroad solution of application of theorems, formulas and substitutions without ever doubting a student getting the clarity moment-out of the blue-to press that right direction at the right time.
I disagree with the point he's making though. VOD review is something any player can do with their own games and can find things they can improve. It's a great way to get better at the game if you're not sure what went wrong.
@@samhhhhh The problem is if you're low rank, and the person giving tips is also low rank, they're less likely to give good advice or even spot certain mistakes, because they might be making them too. And while it isn't a horrible idea, reviewing your own gameplay does mean you might not catch some things that a fresh pair of eyes would, and again if you're low rank you might be going about things all wrong and not know it.
The reason Brig is "so bad" is because you really only play her when you're getting dove. There are so few supports to play that not being able to play her unless the right conditions are met makes her feel a million times worse, even if she is technically not a weak character.
@@Ontarianmm I think the issue with this statement is that Ramattra's neutral without committing to an engage is amazing, even in Nemesis (block being amazing, fists have massive range, extra armor, move speed, etc.). Very relatable flats. I used to coach people up to masters because I was gm and was comfortable with that and holy shit the egos on people are insane. I would just be like dude you're paying me for advice and you're not even listening. Do you just want me to sit here and tell you you're the best?
I found dropping my ego and realizing I’m the problem with being hardstuck was really helpful, if only it didn’t like 5 seasons of being hardstuck diamond lol
That's not totally true. I can appreciate the sentiment; Bap, Brig, Lucio, and Moira can heal multiple people at the same time with all of their healing abilities, but Ana and Kiriko both have an AoE heal, and Kiriko can technically heal multiple people with her primary at a time, it just splits the healing rather than giving everyone the full amount.
nothing is stopping you from switching healing targets fast, even then valk has the second highest sustained aoe healing in the game behind transcendence and its not like mercy's value comes out of healing multiple people at a time She's good at focusing or pocketing single targets, das her whole thing
@@SuperThest Yeah I guess I wasn’t counting suzu and nade because those are abilities on long cooldowns. And I knew that technicality with Kiriko’s projectiles would come up lol.
As a TF2 Player, I can agree with the fact that it is hard to get into the higher levels of a new game you play, especially when you have been mostly playing a different game. Like, I have played Team Fortress 2 for about 2000 hours, and could play Medic pretty well. But once I went over to Overwatch, support became very hard to play. My job was no longer as simple as “Heal big guy, heal other people when they are very low, and then use Ubercharge (invincibility) or Kritzcharge (damage buff) as soon as possible. It became “Use your damage output and utility to aid your team while also keeping them alive by healing.” I honestly debated not playing Overwatch anymore after playing a bit, but I sticked with it and am now a Jack of all trades, being able to play Overwatch decently as Tank and Support, while still being able to fluently play Team Fortress 2.
Ikr I also think cause just like the very last tik tok, he usually goes on these very longg rants about this video and surrounding it so it makes the video way longer than it needs to. not that im complaining
Definitely helps to listen to your rants about ranking. I've recently only gotten into gold, and I'm trying to improve myself to muscle my way into Plat and so on. A single person going beyond the threshold means a lot on game
I was in a bronze match playing Lucio last night and I'm working on getting the mechanics down better. Tried to use speed boost as much as possible, with occasional heals, got ripped a new one pretty much the whole game by my team. We stop their payload a bit short so on our turn, it's just cap 3 points. My team gets stuck and everyone just starts cussing at each other. I said fuck it, and just ran damage Lucio......we won, you can absolutely muscle through bronze 😂
Speed can be tough in bronze. Engage timing in general is tough in bronze. Either your teammates are too passive or they yeet in without resources and feed. You really do have to focus on the individual offensive part of your kit in the lower ranks, because putting a multiplier on 0 is still 0.
Dw your aren't the problem. Those bronze players don't have the fundamental understanding of the game. Lucio isn't good for heals unless you're just poking and not moving. But speed is broken in any team also if u play with a group just run the "rush" comp on attack. Your friends will see why Lucio is so good and be praising u like you're the next coming. (And If u don't know the "rush" comp just reply back lol)
The problem with playing Lucio low ranked (I'm High Silver-Low Gold) is that you need good coms with ur team. Also, many people think you should just heal, since you are a support, and get mad because you "have the fewer healing of the entire lobby" while they are playing Sniper Reaper
@@Sizzyl I do struggle with the wall ride but I have a move on payload maps where I can skate around and over the payload.... pretty much anyone who's consistently killed me pulling that, has admitted to be a side account for a higher ranked player or they flip to a character that requires no aim. My mains are Zen and Mercy but since Lucio is apparently meta, I'm practicing with him.
I just love the Mercy movement analogies because it's honestly what it would look like to anyone but the person playing her 😆 Also, all it takes is for the last poster that played Ana to say they were in Silver to have things make sense. It really does hurt watching them frontline like 'oh, that's why you're in Silver and probably blame your team or Blizzard MM for why you can't climb'.
THE FIRST THING I SEE WHEN I OPEN YT WAS MY TIKTOK IN YOUR THUMBNAIL, AND I WAS THE FIRST VIDEO BRUH I got so scared, thank you for not roasting my entire existence Flats
On console, I can say that you can muscle your way to mid-plat with raw mechanics. The reason for this is that after plat 3, you hit the people who use the 3rd party connectors to use the mouse and keyboard instead of their controller and now you have 2000% sensitivity hitscan ruining your games
Yea as a plat support I’m starting to realize how important it is to be versatile. Trying to learn and expand is hard but it’s actually fun. Good luck out there.
Yea once I hit plat I had to change the way I play from making sure my team lives to making sure I live 😅 After that, it was a pretty easy march to diamond then masters
I can't believe how long I been subscribed to both Flats and Flats Two to see the main channel reach over 300k and now this one is about to hit 100k absolutely crazy you love to see it
I love "her rez takes too long" I'm like "well ana's rez takes forever so-" Also, I love playing Mercy. She's the fastest thing in universe, if she has even one teammate kind of nearby (even a dead one) she has almost unlimited mobility. But something about playing her makes me so bloodthirsty idk why
Here for the memes, but having you say things like heal your support as a priority was actually quite helpful since I’m new to OW2. Slowly grinding/improving (currently gold) 😂
They are not always the priority. Keep in mind they have a passive self healing so you should only heal/help them if they are really low, about to take a lot of damage, or there is nothing better to do. If they are not in danger then there is no need to prioritize them over your dying tank or dps. Definitely pick them over a dps if you have to unless there is a good reason (fight winning ult, dps is popping off, etc.). Context matters a lot when decisions are made.
@@devdog7409 To add on to this : If the only target is tank, go shoot at him, if there's a support/dps in your LoS and you're not overextending, then feel free to shoot at the support/dps.
The new ranking system has killed my motivation to climb. Not being able to see my rank, and having it reset at the start of the season makes me not really want to play comp anymore.
I really think the underlying issue with brig, is that you really don't have any feedback for your inspire passive. Lucio and other aura supports have a more visible effect on how long their aura lasts and how many people it affects. Whereas inspire... You don't even know when it's going to expire, even if the only thing that matters is that people are in range when you hit someone. I think people fail to understand just how much healing and value brig brings to the table, because there's really not that much feedback, there's not even an audio cue for healing with inspire (unless it heals yourself)
Hey Flats, you should pull up Jay3’s clip/short of “mercy op” where a Mercy was pulling insane maneuvers against Jay and his entire team trying to swat the mercy out of the air and the Mercy escaping with a sliver of health. It such a good example of how mobile a Mercy can be, especially in high elo.
It is cool for sure. I appreciate he respects the complexity of it. I've been on a hiatus since early-middle of this wipe. Maybe I'll have to go back soon.
I don't know if you guys agree, but mercy is extremely fun when you start abusing your shift. Flying everywhere and looking in different directions while trying not to get hit is incredibly fun Also I remember in OW1, I think season 2 - 3: I played duo with my friend. Now I'm ofc a support main. Problem was that I really only looked if I had golden healing. So I would purposely not heal my fellow support just because I wanted golden healing. After season 3 I started thinking why I lost so much, where I started to realize that I actually sucked. When I learned how to actually play with my team (Heal my fellow support and started learning game knowledge) I actually enjoyed the game and could win easier than before. I still feel bad for people who was my teammates back then lmao
As someone who came from apex and muscled my way from nothing to diamond first week and then started struggling i cant describe how accurate this is man
Man it hurt when he said “you’re in silver” man I’m climbing out of it 🤣. My excuse is I came from console and this is my first FPS comp game on PC lol. So I know what I need to do it’s just getting the muscle memory down on M&KB. But I am also a support main who cares too much about keeping my team up even if its not feasible. Mainly because I don’t wanna hear the backlash from titled DPS/Tank players that I let them die. Granted if I move up I won’t hear it anymore but still I just try and be a good teammate even to my own detriment 🙃
Im sorry to tell you this but it does not get less toxic as you go up until much later. Im in gold/plat/diamond lobbies rn and its much worse than when i was in bronze/silver. People take the game much more seriously because theyre higher rank and trying to climb harder rather than people who are playing comp more casually which you see a lot more in bronze/silver. I think in much higher ranks like GM its not as toxic because people up there are more focused on themselves, but Im not up there yet so I wouldnt know, good luck on climbing
Yeah I’m masters on support and lemme tell ya. It is NOT fun up here lmao. Just gotta mute the haters and play to the best of your abilities. Do the vod reviews (even your good games can be improved upon!) polish your mechanics, and STAY ALIVE. Do that and I’ll see you in masters in no time 👍🏿
Mercy is like that old notification the game gives you in the old F Zero games, when you were told you are able to go ham. "YOU GOT BOOST POWER!" and you can spam your speed boost with reckless abandon if you wish. That's Mercy, she is support, but that also includes DAMAGE support, people need to start recognizing that.
When the guy was front lining as Ana I literally screamed “GET BEHIND YOUR TEAMMATES YOU IDIOT AND HEAL. YOU CAN DO DAMAGE AND IM FINE WITH THAT BUT HEAL.”
In that ana clip talking about new players… That sigma shield owns literal property taxes, that shield has been there longer than I’ve been alive. That shield has lived there so long that it gets a discount on it’s property taxes for being such a long term client. XD
Don't like that "blind leading the blind" analogy with the silvers reviewing each other. If you wanted the silver to review his own gameplay, it would be equally beneficial or even more since it's a different perspective, if another silver were to review it. Just because their silver doesn't mean they won't catch macro mistakes in retrospect. It's more like two dumb kids helping each other with homework. They aren't completely unable to help, two people together are still worth something.
its over exaggerating yes, but it makes the point clear. u shouldnt be asking someone equally bad on tips to improve generally. obv, share info u have. but u cant rly coach eachother if ur both silver. u can on the other hand work together for sure. thing is, in the case of a game review... its a good chance the other silver wont understand what the fck is going on. something they think is a mistake might not be one. and the biggest issue, they arent smart enough to see some mistakes. if they were, they would rank up. extremely few low elo players understand positioning and space, along with tempo. mistakes in these categories are crucial to fix, and is unlikely to be spotted by ur silver friend. dont waste ur time. look at uw own stuff sometimes, catch the super obvious ones, then move on and spend ur time better
You can DEFFINETLY just force ranks with mechanics. got diamond on my dps only kiriko acnt when i was just trying to aim train. hope i can continue to masters soon
As a brig main and someone new to the game i didn’t know how big her inspire range is XD and I’m glad that (for the most part) I’m playing her like she should be. She a squishy protector, I mean on a good game I can team wipe with my tank all day (and at the start of me playing her I was a tank killer) but I know now that with her kit she’s a back line protector. But my god now knowing just how big her inspire range is I’m definitely gonna keep this in mind for future games XD
As an ana/ kiriko main the guy who was saying he hit a clip physically and mentally hurt me. I used to be really bad in overwatch 1 so I placed bronze, and I thought that elo hell was real but now that I have gotten a bit better I have climbed to gold in 2 days. ( btw I am casual pls don't go off on me for being bad an how you can climb faster)
12:01 testament from Harstem, sc2 youtuber, tournament level, diamond is where you start getting into stuff other than mechanics. there was also something about shoes in there but I don't think that applies
True. as someone hard stuck plat support, the reason I'm not climbing is straight up that I need to land more shots on enemies. I think my game sense is very good but I just dont have the mechanics required to fully do what I know
I play in Silver/Gold and I'm telling you, damage boosting DPS is usually a huge waste of time. My guys can't hit a barn. I can spend half the match damage-boosting and the end of match total is ~600. And on console, you can't even utilize her mobility like on PC.
somewhat true. my advice, dmg boost the dps or tank with most free dmg. only do this tho if u realize that ur cree cant hit a shot. but u have a junk / sigma, just boost them. they are likely to me more consistent even if they are ass. if not then just heal.
Watching TikToks like these gives me some hope that I'll claw my way out of Bronze some day, because I can recognize the hypocrisies and mistakes the person in the video is making/the details they're missing and hearing Flats point those things out immediately after. My biggest issue is that I'm still figuring out what mouse sensitivity I should play with and trying to untrain how tight my wrist is while playing and how hard I flick (overflick, tbh) when I'm shooting. It's like my body overcompensates for what I tell it to do and it's this dumb muscle memory thing I need to unlearn. But if all these key parts of game sense make sense to me then, when I learn how to aim better, maybe there's hope for me yet? 😭😭
Mercy as "the worst sup" made me cry. Legit, missing out on damage boost is top tier stupid. I was struggling in silver with mercy, as the DPS players being boosted doesn't really matter if they can't hit shots, but I can't hit them either, which is why I play mercy. Self burn.
9:13 "One of the hardest games to master" I can imagine about a million games harder to master then this, including COD series, Halo series, Dark Souls, Wow and so many more
How do you play in diamond after you muscle your way in? I've made it to mid diamond so many times on dps and support but then most of the heroes feel like they lose their solo carry potential. When I get bad team mates in gold/plat/silver I can carry them but what happens when you get a boosted team mate in diamond? Also I noticed in diamond there are lots of rage hackers and people using Adderall with unhuman reaction times lol.
As a support player, if you wanna break through diamond and into masters, you gotta stop playing for your team’s survival and start playing for your survival. Also, recognize that your kit as a support is STACKED with cool abilities that can swing a fight so take some more initiative with your plays. Take control of the tempo when things start to go wrong. Look for a clutch anti or sleep. Try and headshot something with Kiriko to set up your dps for a pick. Even hit the Zen flank if you need to lol. If you get boosted team mates, it is your job as a support to try to enable them and let them shine as the brightest gold player in the lobby. Set them up with good nades or sleeps and give them a confidence nano or two. Even if you lose, you played to your best and that’s what really matters cuz if you keep playing you will climb. Also: solo ulting isn’t that bad of a play on a hero like Bap. Window to confirm a crucial pick before a fight is MASSIVE value.
The problem I have is my mechanical skill in games. Your vids have helped my game sense and I can play a certain few characters well but I always hit a skill wall and I'm stuck in the low tiers even when i do on occasion do very well. Ive always sucked at DPS but been a pretty good support and tank especially in OW1 where i was gold. Now I can barely get out of silver 😩 It's frustrating when you know what to do but i can't seem to make myself do it.
A good place to start is checking your sensitivity, then start practicing crosshair placement. Thirdly, picking a fixed spot on the wall and moving around while keeping your crosshair pointed at the same spot is a good exercise. Maybe that will help you a bit. :)
@@soaringaegis that's a good tip ill give it a go. Is it harder to do this on PS4 than PC? I'm presuming most here are PC. My sensitivity is 100 and I only recently changed it
@@ccricers this is literally me LMAO. I actually lose in dps duels with golds and silvers but I solo climbed to masters on support. How? Positioning, staying alive, and hitting the shots that mattered. Also, ability timing and cooldown management. As well as ult tracking and even ability tracking. A content creator you can check out it Fitzy! He’s an awesome sombra player and he’s all brain no aim. He plays in GM just like Flats and the gang too :)
Escape from Tarkov is ridiculous. But I came from it to Overwatch, and I will say they pose unique challenges. Tarkov is much slower with much more emphasis on individual survival. You can sometimes go whole "games" (raids) without encountering a single player. The weapons/equipment system is a large learning curve. The amount of functions makes the game mechanically hard to learn, but for completely different reasons to Overwatch. Overwatch being my first objective based hero shooter, it has been another learning curve. Team play like in no other shooter I've played, learning all of the abilities, the healing aspect and movements of certain heros. It's a challenge in it's own right.
Yep, agree very much about muscling your way out from low ranks, got the shitty end of the stick when role queue was introduced and I got 1161 on support, quit and when I returned at the last few months of OW1, I just played Zen, Baptiste, and Lucio and got me into gold in several days. It wasn't easy, didn't win a lot sure and the amount of people not self aware of their mistakes could fit into a binder, but it's possible 100%. The amount of charging Reinhardts, diving Winstons, and that one Soldier that just made the enemy tank an ult battery for their supports while somehow having a silver healing(he was bragging about it too much) on King's Row that always blames others...I'm not the perfect support but my god, I can see why people call it ELO hell, still possible to just outgun the enemy but man, people's ego and their lack of self awareness could fool me for a MadTV skit.
I’ve played Overwatch 1 but not a whole lot but since the second “game” dropped I’ve been playing it a lot more. I come from Counter Strike and rank around Legendary Eagle. I’m kind of hard stuck Platinum now but I was close to breaching Diamond. I’ve only got about a couple hundred hours in and I think that I need to learn some more characters and their functions to climb higher
12:00 this is so true. I was really good at valorant but got bored and when ow2 launched I decided to give it a shot. I initially placed in bronze but climbed out of there to plat-diamond in like 2 weeks and have been stuck there ever since

@@RaidenKunii next time someone gives you crap remember it's silver, it is the second lowest rank in the game, everyone's got a hell of a lot to learn. Also, something that helped me climb out of there a while back was thinking about supp differently, you are the only role in the entire game that can heal AND get kills. Your job isn't just to keep everyone alive, it's to make everyone else's job as easy as possible, and in some cases, doing their job for them.
What if I'm in gold and the tank keeps rushing in and insta dying before his team even gets there, so the enemy team just rushes you down super quick taking out my support and all i can do is take one down before my team wipes? And the tank has no intention of learning from his mistakes and does it the whole match? This happened to me all day yesterday. I think its because a bunch of bigstreamers started playing because of sponsors that there are a lot of new players. But with some teams, there really isn't much you can do. I just focus on taking out as much as possible and still do decent myself in terms of actually killing other DPS and support, but i literally get stuck because I can't get any Ws. You can't tell me that's my fault man. It's hard down here man, i'm suffering from the pain. I don't think I'm great at the game either, but I am at the very least better than a lot of the other players i run in at gold, with the occaional actual great matchups where the back and forth is fun. I mean i still ranked up even after losing so much, but its still frustrating as fuck. I don't know how i'm supposed to do the best i can when my team wipes so fucking quick because of these weird dives. Like even when i played support, Tanks in gold think their invincible or something even when being full pocketed. Diving in when the rest of the team is still trying to get to the fight. This is too common. Like my team dies and i'm always the last one and all i do is A and D strafe and these fucks can't hit me. How the fuck does my team die so quick? wtf
just focus on urself mate. u do ur best, u keep improving urself. there is literally no good argument to care about ur teammates performance, no reason to blame teammates. they are in for one game, and u practically dont see them again. so just be the best player u can be urself.
Trust the process man, if you're truly good, YOU WILL CLIMB. This has been proven many times by those who do unranked to GMs. If you're in gold and you're "hardstuck" then I'm sorry, maybe that's the rank you actually do belong. Keep practicing and focus on yourself because you will improve if you keep playing.
On console, it’s so hard not to shoot the tank because the aim assist for enemy tank is more intense than the sun’s gravitational pull. While aiming at supports feels like our aim is actually being pushed away.

I found dropping my ego and realizing I’m the problem with being hardstuck was really helpful, if only it didn’t like 5 seasons of being hardstuck diamond lol
So uhm...do you still do that?
@@phoenixflamegames1 Also am intrigued.
It's crazy how full of themselves people are. Never coached, but some of the teams I've had were nuts

Literally half the support roster can only heal one person at a time lol. That guy just didn’t like mercy.
He doesn't know about juggle healing..
That's not totally true. I can appreciate the sentiment; Bap, Brig, Lucio, and Moira can heal multiple people at the same time with all of their healing abilities, but Ana and Kiriko both have an AoE heal, and Kiriko can technically heal multiple people with her primary at a time, it just splits the healing rather than giving everyone the full amount.
nothing is stopping you from switching healing targets fast, even then valk has the second highest sustained aoe healing in the game behind transcendence and its not like mercy's value comes out of healing multiple people at a time
She's good at focusing or pocketing single targets, das her whole thing
@@SuperThest Yeah I guess I wasn’t counting suzu and nade because those are abilities on long cooldowns.
And I knew that technicality with Kiriko’s projectiles would come up lol.
@@ljb5163 it doesn’t have to do with kirikos projectiles, just that they have an AOE healing ability makes them an AOE healer
I love how Flats describes the Mercy Flying.
Love seeing flats pop off lately with his viewer growth, deserves it
As a TF2 Player, I can agree with the fact that it is hard to get into the higher levels of a new game you play, especially when you have been mostly playing a different game.
Flats: "We have 28 new tiktoks"
Also Flats: uploads a video showing 3, still ends up being 16min long
Ikr
I also think cause just like the very last tik tok, he usually goes on these very longg rants about this video and surrounding it so it makes the video way longer than it needs to. not that im complaining
I have been playing quite a bit of Brig lately in quick play cuz i like the style of the hero, and i gotta admit, she is incredibly fun and rewarding
@@Sizzyl nah I’d go bap, dps bap goes so hard in low elo
I just love the Mercy movement analogies because it's honestly what it would look like to anyone but the person playing her 😆
Also, all it takes is for the last poster that played Ana to say they were in Silver to have things make sense. It really does hurt watching them frontline like 'oh, that's why you're in Silver and probably blame your team or Blizzard MM for why you can't climb'.
THE FIRST THING I SEE WHEN I OPEN YT WAS MY TIKTOK IN YOUR THUMBNAIL, AND I WAS THE FIRST VIDEO BRUH I got so scared, thank you for not roasting my entire existence Flats
excuse me THAT'S how big Brig's radius is??? WHAT?!
Yea once I hit plat I had to change the way I play from making sure my team lives to making sure I live 😅
After that, it was a pretty easy march to diamond then masters
I can't believe how long I been subscribed to both Flats and Flats Two to see the main channel reach over 300k and now this one is about to hit 100k absolutely crazy you love to see it
hearing flats say the words "Escape from Tarkov" made me smile. The idea of flats trying to learn EFT would be so fucking funny
I will never get tired of your reactions to TikTok videos. You’re more than welcome to spam my feed.

I love "her rez takes too long" I'm like "well ana's rez takes forever so-"
Also, I love playing Mercy. She's the fastest thing in universe, if she has even one teammate kind of nearby (even a dead one) she has almost unlimited mobility. But something about playing her makes me so bloodthirsty idk why
Mercy mains are always killhungry 😂
I am the same way with reinhardt when i get bloodthirsty i think it comes down to characters we like and prefer other then that idk
Oh man i remember that clip. Was funny AF watching him try to swat her down and failing.
As a tarkov main who has been playing a lot of OW recently. I appreciate the shoutout. Love your content
It is cool for sure. I appreciate he respects the complexity of it. I've been on a hiatus since early-middle of this wipe. Maybe I'll have to go back soon.
I just want to say, I absolutely love the background music for these videos Flatts. Keep up the great work.

I don't know if you guys agree, but mercy is extremely fun when you start abusing your shift. Flying everywhere and looking in different directions while trying not to get hit is incredibly fun
Also I remember in OW1, I think season 2 - 3: I played duo with my friend.
I sent the ana player who said he was new to Overwatch 2 tik tok, love your reactions, keep it up!

Sometimes I feel like I’m bad at Overwatch for being in low Gold, but then I hear takes like this and I feel better about my level of play
I always love the comments about people who joined into OW during F2P
4:50 as a support main i do agree that going on the front line as brig is very funny
"OH my God I just hit a clip," caught me off guard lmao
When the guy was front lining as Ana I literally screamed “GET BEHIND YOUR TEAMMATES YOU IDIOT AND HEAL. YOU CAN DO DAMAGE AND IM FINE WITH THAT BUT HEAL.”

In that ana clip talking about new players… That sigma shield owns literal property taxes, that shield has been there longer than I’ve been alive. That shield has lived there so long that it gets a discount on it’s property taxes for being such a long term client. XD
i think the clip was the sheer surprise that he hit a dart at all
Don't like that "blind leading the blind" analogy with the silvers reviewing each other.
I had no clue brig had AOE healing. That's crazy.
Honestly I think they should add an aura marker for inspire so newer players can play her more easily
12:01 testament from Harstem, sc2 youtuber, tournament level, diamond is where you start getting into stuff other than mechanics. there was also something about shoes in there but I don't think that applies
One day players will understand that support doesnt mean just healing.
True. as someone hard stuck plat support, the reason I'm not climbing is straight up that I need to land more shots on enemies.
@@Cryoptic_ Can you explain what free damage is, pls? Thank you for the tip! (Giggity)
Keep on practicing those mechanics! You can do it! Also, there are videos to help you find your OW sens so I recommend checking those out 👍🏿
You got this! I also struggle with aim alot, and i learn the hard way. I'm a support Ana main, and ana is all about aim so thats gets me practicing
"And not just 1 or 2 heroes"
Im forcing rein and you cant stop me.
I struggle in high masters. The weird things I can get away with in gold/plat when I’m just playing with my friends is insane.
Please Flats bro! Do more of these videos. Super entertaining XD
I always feel like I’m comp at the moment I’m doing well and so is the team but the enemy team will have one amazing player that rolls all of us.
Mercy as "the worst sup" made me cry. Legit, missing out on damage boost is top tier stupid. I was struggling in silver with mercy, as the DPS players being boosted doesn't really matter if they can't hit shots, but I can't hit them either, which is why I play mercy. Self burn.
9:13 "One of the hardest games to master" I can imagine about a million games harder to master then this, including COD series, Halo series, Dark Souls, Wow and so many more
"Mercy is the worst support!" Proceeds to not explain her kit correctly..
I had a drunk doomfist player on my team last night; so that was fun to deal with.
"her rez is so slow"
Well it's faster than walking, isn't it?
Flats described exactly how I used to play Brig when I first started playing Support last season 😭
The fact that the sleep killed the zen was funny though
I want to see gameplay that's more of the opposite. What does okay mechanical skill paired with top tier game sense looks like.
@@ccricers If you can't hit your shots then your positioning, tempo, and game knowledge don't really matter at all to be honest.
I have tons of friends who are kinda stuck in diamond/plat because they end up getting lost in the teamfight and accidentally put themselves in bad positions and thus they die. Also, ability timing and cooldown management. As well as ult tracking and even ability tracking. A content creator you can check out it Fitzy! He’s an awesome sombra player and he’s all brain no aim. He plays in GM just like Flats and the gang too :)
We haven't consistently had Brig and Lucio played together since GOATs

10:35 I actually flinched when he pronounced kiriko like that
12:00 this is so true. I was really good at valorant but got bored and when ow2 launched I decided to give it a shot. I initially placed in bronze but climbed out of there to plat-diamond in like 2 weeks and have been stuck there ever since
"Not only do you have to learn maps, you have to learn heroes"

Watching this made me feel better about my 1 win and 4 loses in Comp as Ramattra lol
Did not make me feel better as a silver 2 support player getting insulted despite me trying my hardest, especially when i get some of the most healing in a lot of my lobbies (all my lobbies are wack, never an equal fight in comp)
“I hate egos” -two seconds later- “silvers are like blind people”
The problem with being stuck with the casuals is you are usually the only one trying
As a hitscan main f-22 mercys are the bane of my existence💀
On console, it’s so hard not to shoot the tank because the aim assist for enemy tank is more intense than the sun’s gravitational pull. While aiming at supports feels like our aim is actually being pushed away.
when you say outmuscle your way through the rank, does that mean play your main and try and do your best or does it mean play the meta heroes? obviously good positioning and stuff apply to both scenarios but im just curious.
Just out of interest, how are you supposed to play Brigitte? I’m new to OW and I thought she was a frontline healer so I thought she was pretty useless…
I'm also in silver, but at least I don't try to give advice.
