They had no choice. Idk if you can read but the timer was at less than 10 seconds, and nobody was near point. “It’s quickplay” is the most nonsensical rationale for why a team focused, objective-based game should be thrown. But if quickplay wasn’t geared towards aiming to WIN, it would be teamdeath match. That’s why, there’s Arcade.
In the least disrespectful way possible I think flats plays as such a high level consistently that he can't fathom the world of quick play seriousness. The issue with the first clip is doom spamming heals while also taking the worst possible route to the cart. I know it's hard asy to ignore the tank especially when you can't hold the hammer as much as before (THIS IS A JOKE) but you gotta understand this isn't as uncommon as people on your level believe it is. Remember when you're reacting to QP games you gotta leave the tech at the door. It's not welcome

That first tiktok triggered me 😭💀 Like, yeah, it's just a qp game, and that's FINE. All I play is qp these days, so 9 times out of 10, we lose a game? Unfortunate but we go again. But if it's not that serious, then why spam?
I think that first take was iffy Like yeah its qp but that video was analyzed from a comp gamer mindset instead of looking at its a game being played by casuals The doom is spamming for heals and running away i don't think it matters qp or not the action itself is annoying not the fact that it happened it unranked
A sizeable section of OW2 players mainly play quick play and they DO take it seriously. As an OG player I don't really get it but it is definitely a thing. I suppose it's people that want to play the game seriously but have too much anxiety or something to play ranked.
Quick play is a lot less toxic, thats why most people chose to play it. The doom also took the game seriously and touched the point in overtime, there was literally no time to wait for heals.
I play qp and mystery because it's way less toxic. I still like to win. I maybe don't try as hard as comp, but sometimes the other team is being real sweaty and I make a change to shut them down. Like if I'm on hog and they go ana, zen, bastion for example I'm probably gonna switch to sigma. But I'm also not gonna do much outside of major counter pick type stuff
some people have things going on and mainly dont have time to play rank, rank is a commitment you spend at least 1 hour just for 1 match mostly spent on queue times alone it becomes drasticly longer the higher you are so the time spent on queue is detrimental, there are players who have more free time on rank but those who are busy but want to improve on a game they have fun dont have a option its mainly rank players who are out of touch on the subject matter as its the only thing they play. If you were given an option to spend 1 hour of queue times just for one match or have 15 matches of qp what would you choose.
I only play qp because they hide your rank going up and down. I've tried playing ranked but got anxious everytime i won or lost cause like the game hide how much you climb and drop.

the funniest thing about the genji clip is the same thing would have happened if you tried to blade a turret form bastion that was being pocketed in ow1
Something i learnt that kept me from going insane as a support main. Don’t chase Doom and Hammond, especially if they’re spamming “i need healing” across the map. These two heroes, especially hammond you shouldn’t chase them because they have a lot of mobility and Ball should know where the health packs. I know this might trigger a lot of people and that’s fine because i'm not a high level player and I don’t want to climb so i just have fun playing but genuinely I don’t chase doom and Ball. If they’re across the map, in the enemy spawn spamming heal and running away from me that’s their problem. At least if you need healing come closer and don’t let the support go into the enemy team to heal you and die in the process and let the whole team die. Anyway, if it’s QP and people are spamming healing and running... well sucks for you, i'm not healing you 😂
I like Push, but I think the real reason medal ranks don't like it is because they don't like grouping up, and Push more-so than other game-modes (except the new Flash-Point) requires grouping up
Ngl that Doom did it for the content. Chasm has posted videos of him in t500 lobbies trolling his supports like that. At that point, the doom probably assumed the match was lost and didn't care so decided to troll for the heck of it. It was just qp and the last few seconds of it at that.
That was a Mercy in the clip at 6:45, not a LW. No grip happened. You can see Mercy in the killfeed as well as the scoreboard like legitimately what is Flats looking at?
Uh... when he's suddenly across the street about 10 seconds later? I think it was a grenade bounce pushin him back, but when he leaves tank form he's suddenly a solid distance from the door. But I didn't see the grab effect either. That all said, I 100% see why he'd think it was a grip and there's 2 supports so they can have both mercy and lw
@@Rohndogg1 Except at the end of the clip he shows the leaderboard, it's an Iliari and Mercy, and Iliari's insane healing output was what kept Bastion alive.
Nah, Push sucks because it's a walking sim. I didn't play when it was added, I have no "burnout" from testing, it's not because it's new - it's because every time you die, you have to walk eight miles across the map to get back into the fight
The thing is it's quick play but then they spam heals and then flame you for not being a pocket to them. It's not fun dealing with stupid stuff like that.

I hate the "it's qp" argument. It makes sense if you are trying new characters or a new strategy. Not for doing dumb things in general, or just not even trying at all.
Bro left, that's why the argument is valid
a lot of streamers act like you aren’t allowed to try to win in quick play. quick play is supposed to be less sweaty than comp, sure, but that shouldn’t mean that throwing and ruining everyone else’s fun is okay. if i come home from work to my only couple hours of game time and someone on my team is throwing i’m gonna be annoyed whether it’s ranked or quick play
So qp just magically gives you permission to be bad at the game huh? Stop with that it's qp thing. Just cuz it's qp that doesn't mean anything. You also always say, it's qp just queue for another match and when he does his wrong? Hypocrite much
@@diablotry5154he left because the game was over lmao
@@smashkid9196 it was OT 💀
if i was the Ilari in the first clip i would have been like 'go find a health pack' and left the Doom to go heal my other teammates. if they got mad at me for it oh well, i'm not going to chase you down because you're purposefully running away from me. and the fact that it's QP doesn't matter, the Doom was spamming 'I need healing' while actively running away from their healer instead of TO their healer.
They had no choice. Idk if you can read but the timer was at less than 10 seconds, and nobody was near point. He waited as long as possible to get heals from an illari that had zero game sense before running to point. Him spamming need healing was to get the supports attention to focus him and run to point, since neither DPS would have been able.
The doom made the right call. The illari had no brain to notice it and then blamed doom on their own mistakes. If the illari was you, and you did what you said, you would've instantly lost the game due to the inability to understand what was going on.
Also there like three health packs soon could’ve gotten. The mega by the stairs. The mini by the shops in the middle (where the cart was I believe), and the mega in the middle of the side route.
If you’re a dive tank, you should utilize health packs like flank dps.
@@markvieyra9950 Not with the time remaining for OT he couldnt. If he was Ball, maybe, but not for Doom. And the bot wasn't in the middle, it was at the corner through the choke on the enemy side
@@thewalnutbucketby the time the doom reached the stairs, there was 10 seconds. With illari’s beam healing, he could have been around 3/4 full with plenty of time to touch had he waited by the bridge.
With doomfist having incredible mobility, he could have reached the little overpass on the other side, dropped down to intercept, and had his cooldowns go off cooldown soon after.
If either punch or slam was on cooldown at the bridge, they would have been available had the dude sat still for a second to get healed.
The illari definitely shouldn’t have chased him around the map, but it was mostly the doom’s fault. Had either of them thought for half a second, touching was possible.

This is the first time I’ve ever actually not agreed with your take on the first one, they’ve were fully justified to be annoyed there
how do you see someone running away from the support being an annoying teammate and you blame the support?? Also, people have wildly overestimated how good Illari is.
It’s not entirely the Illari’s fault, but she definitely made mistakes. For some reason she blindly chased the Doom in the least practical way and tunnel visioned on him instead of going to point with 10 seconds on the clock. The Doom spamming heals while running is def annoying, but at that point just let him go and focus on the rest of the team. She walked past her crit Reaper to go on a goose hunt for the Doom
Believe it or not not everybody sees spamming "I need healing" as intentionally being annoying. If the doom is int-ing that's on him. Flats' point was not to be frustrated about things you can't change.
Still gotta understand where that first support was coming from though. It can be for fun, but spamming need healing and running away is dumb 😂
But yes, I do still agree with you. The Illari could’ve done that soooo differently 😂
yes it's dumb for sure! But chasing the doomfist the entire time well knowing you can't catch up to him, is equally dumb on the support end lmao. Guy's just gotta stop tunnel visioning and go help his team instead of treating the DF like he owes him money

Quickplay is literally ranked without ranks.

Its one thing to want to win but its another to insult or attack other players for just wanting a chill gameplay session outside of comp.

“It’s quickplay” is the most nonsensical rationale for why a team focused, objective-based game should be thrown. For those that play to win, regardless of quickplay or comp, you shouldn’t discourage competitive spirit.
I may be hard stuck Masters. But if quickplay wasn’t geared towards aiming to WIN, it would be teamdeath match. That’s why, there’s Arcade.

In the least disrespectful way possible I think flats plays as such a high level consistently that he can't fathom the world of quick play seriousness.
Explanation: just because the mode is built to be no consequence doesn't mean people are ok with losing.
Seriously tho this is a support problem we deal with all the time it's just hella annoying in any gamemode. If it gonna spam heals at least confirm your healers location first so you don't run from them.
That first tiktok triggered me 😭💀 Like, yeah, it's just a qp game, and that's FINE. All I play is qp these days, so 9 times out of 10, we lose a game? Unfortunate but we go again. But if it's not that serious, then why spam?
When I used to play this game, (tonk main) when i played as support and someone spammed "I need healing" I would spam the group up voice line xD
Flats shitting on the Illari pissed me off. Stop being such a know it all bro.
I think that first take was iffy
Like yeah its qp but that video was analyzed from a comp gamer mindset instead of looking at its a game being played by casuals
The doom is spamming for heals and running away i don't think it matters qp or not the action itself is annoying not the fact that it happened it unranked
@@derunfassbarebielecki do pray tell what quickplay games you load into. i have seen 10x worse toxicity playing qp than comp. people are way more chill playing comp and its tragic.

It is indeed quickplay he's there to have fun true. He chose support because he probably enjoys helping people. If those people refuse to let him help them he'd better look for a match with people that let him have fun.
Hearing Flats blame the Illari and not the Doom gives me brain damage 😩☠️
4:17 Also Flats not realizing knowing where medpacks are is really important for mains of characters that want to be self sufficient like Ball and Tracer is crazy to me. 😂
Man and the list keeps on going, cause why tf is Flats telling people why THEY dont like a certain gamemode. 🙄
I don't think flats was commenting on the usefulness of the med kits or the value in knowing their locations. I think he meant that "know where the med kits are" is kind of a bad tip because basically every player above bronze should know where all the med kits are. it's common knowledge, why make a vid about it? etc
@@pasta-pardner Because maybes it's not a common knowledge, it takes time to play on every map and learn all their medpack locations, so maybe making a video would help a lot of people.

Learning healthpacks positions is more complicated than that man thinks
My favorite push map is Coloseo. Weird, right?
Mine too, but I play ball, so… kinda just like the pile drive opportunities.
I mean, I like it too
so if its quick play should i never try to win? at a game about two teams trying to win?. not saying the videos were wrong, just dont like the "its QP" as if i can only try to win in comp games
Yeah, Flats acts like they flamed the shit out of DF, when they just got slightly annoyed and left a match that was already over. His take was burnt before he started cooking this time.
"Who cares it's quick play" you mean to say "who cares is comp and that hasn't been good for 6 seasons"
Don't forget that if a healer keeps a bastion's in the armor range, they'll continuously take 30% less damage.
Nah man.. disagree with you on this one hard lmao
Quick play or not, doesn’t make it any less frustrating and still takes the fun out of this. The tank was brain dead as is this take lol
everyone in that match was brain dead. the illari played that as terribly as the doom did.
That doomfist was such a good troll, he trolled the twitch and the Tik-Tok chat. He knew exactly what he was doing.
See how much dmg that genji did?! Nerf Genji!
Nah it’s not my job to chase after someone spamming I need healing and constantly LOSing. It actually also puts me in danger. Can’t tell you how many times I died playing tag with someone making themselves impossible to heal.
I hate push just because it’s such a snow ball game mode, the first two fights are really the main fights that matter
"When they say Esperanza..." ... Nobody says that, people say Esperança.
Falts you wasnt cooking in that first clip lmao "its just qp but you still gotta try" even so, him leaving at the end was justified especially cause the match was pretty much over already

Push is the only gamemode where you can roll the enemy team for the whole game and still be at risk of losing within 2-3 team fights
“Forced down your throat really really hard”- Flats 2023
I love how flats justifies the doom sprinting across map cuz “it’s qp” but expects the illari to have perfect pathfinding to save the doom in qp
I don’t like pus, not because I hate the increased queue rate. I hate it for the fact that I have to walk like 1 min to the objective. I don’t care what other people say 2 cp was way more enjoyable and temple is the best map.
the funniest thing about the genji clip is the same thing would have happened if you tried to blade a turret form bastion that was being pocketed in ow1
"ermm actually let me explain to YOU why YOU hate push"

If doomfist wanted heals he would have gone to his illari... and he never even died
Cassidy got dark souls dodge as an ability
Forget ChatGPT, that Illari was a PS2 AI
Anyway, if it’s QP and people are spamming healing and running... well sucks for you, i'm not healing you 😂
The weird thing is I always liked Colosseo? I didn't mind push showing up more.
Quickplay doesn’t mean throw the game and nothing is allowed to be annoying/frustrating
QP Is not for fun. Don't lie. Its comp without point risk now
The sojourn clip where they could’ve just used E then pop ult to get in multiple rails on bastion.

Nah, Push sucks because it's a walking sim. I didn't play when it was added, I have no "burnout" from testing, it's not because it's new - it's because every time you die, you have to walk eight miles across the map to get back into the fight
I had do double check my RUclips quality for that first video holy heck
I understand that supports pain having someone ping for healing only to repeatedly keep waking away
I still feel like I get a lot of push. The main thing with it is that team always quits whenever they lose 1 freaking team fight.
The thing is it's quick play but then they spam heals and then flame you for not being a pocket to them. It's not fun dealing with stupid stuff like that.
Unpopular Opinion: I really like Push, it’s probably my favorite game mode.
However I attribute this to me being a Hamter main, and I feel like because of how big push maps feel, that they really allow me to shine and have fun
I also like push
Why is it surprising the soldier lived? Besides the nade, 2 pocket healer, kitsune - flat didn’t mention that soldier even threw his heal down.
every time i see a clip like this it makes me wanna get outta bronze faster
I cant agree with flats on the first one, only because the doom asked for heals and didn’t look at his surroundings. The illari shouldn’t of left though, i want to say it was for comedic purposes and not out of anger or frustration but thats just a assumption. I understand its quick play but bro did ask for heals and im not gonna judge the illari for being obliviously a low skill level. Flats was right about it just being quick play, the illari shouldnt of left the game
