i just finished bogurs video 20 minutes ago and after seeing what he went through we should in fact nerf genji
wtf😂
how about while we’re at it, let’s also buff support
This is a fact
@@AlienBenyclearly illari doesn't do enough damage and sleep should last 40 seconds
@@AlienBeny and then we should buff orisa (please)
This reminds me of the time I got into an internet argument about how Lifeweaver sucks and the guy kept trying to insist that MANY people have one-tricked Lifeweaver into GM & I was just too harsh on the character.
I had to google it to tell him how wrong he was, and that's how I found out about how it was Bogur and only Bogur.
Wrong. I’ve made it to GM with only Lifeweaver before the video.
@@RandomVids0987 yes after the gigabuffs great work bro especially when the character is B/A tier. You do realize this was streamed and bogur got to gm months ago right?
@@khaledm.1476 yeah i dont think people realized that the only buff life weaver got while bogur did this was the damage spread lmao. lifeweiver was bad bad bad.
@@RandomVids0987Bogur completed the challenge months before the video was posted. He posted it at the start of S7, he completed the challenge halfway through S5 - 2 months before Lifeweaver received his major buffs that made most people consider him a decent pick.
@@RandomVids0987proof?
You cannot watch this video and go "The ranked system is good.", because who in their right mind wants to look at 3 wins - 12 losses knowing full well that even if they win the next two games, they're gonna de-rank.
It's also "grading on a curve". What this means is that even if you go 5-0, if enough people climbed above you before you finish your set you actually drop in rank. This has happened to me. The system practically encourages you to spam games instead of going for consistency.
@@Nixahma oh what I didn't know that
WELL AT LEAST IT'S GONE NOW :D
Does anyone know the song at 5:40?
Bogur’s explanation of why saving teammates is pointless made me realize that they made a second Mercy
they did, they wanted mercy 2.0 and illari is ana 2.0
I thought this way when they released LW actually.
I mean, as Mercy u have to think before rez. The same for pull. The biggest difference is that Mercy is flying to allies and Lw pulling allies to themselves ahaha
Not at all, damage boost literally makes your teammates better. It's way easier to secure a kill when you do more damage. Lifeweaver can only fix mistakes and heal bots, he doesn't make your teammates inability to get kills better.
I call Lifeweaver gay Mercy
@@Liur.right, damage boost does make your teammates better, at the opportunity cost of a support who could do more damage on their own. The difference is that Mercy can provide this boost at virtually no risk to herself. Other supports have to have LoS on enemies in order to provide damage, which introduces risk. Mercy sits in cover with right click held and isn’t even in much danger if pushed due to her mobility.
I'm glad he emphasized just how worthless voice chat is for solo q anywhere below t500. It's so tiring seeing the community try to argue that shotcalls are essential to climb when literally nobody listens to each other. It's the most overrated tool in the game
I find that its a curve. Limited (and I do mean limited) shotcalling works up until about gold after which there's too much ego in the lobby, then its useless up until t500.
It can definitely win games in low elo
But it's really unreliable
On the other hand ping is one of the best new features for OW2
it used to be more reliable in OW1, but in OW2 the new population just don't care
@@kriansaa paid game requires people who can buy things or kids who can smooth talk their parents. That barrier to entry is gone
Never heard of that guy until this video. But I was so emotionally invested and relieved when he finally got it. Had to go and give him a like & sub.
So good to watch someone with so much passion for a game. Wholesome af at the end.
hes a really good eu tank player, pretty funny and and engaging. would reccomend!
agree. it was great seeing him so invested in this challenge. fantastic content from start to finish.
Bogur is so funny i love him
Consider checking out his unranked to gm Winston, no hud, no sound, no voice , no outlines video it was a crazy ride.
@michael-hd3iu but is there a point to it? I'll be looking at 144p right?
This is the one single time in the history of competitive games where a professional doing an "Unranked to GM" playthrough isn't devious and scummy by ruining everyone's games, so many kudos to Bogur!
It's ruining everyone's games but by being a bad hero.
@@xveluna7681 I mean, the #7 Tank player couldn't hard carry plat games, he had a near 50/50 winrate multiple ranks below him. If anything, this was more a showcase of how Blizzard simply can't learn to balance heroes
@@xveluna7681it’s the dev’s fault then. Every hero should be viable, not great, but at least be viable at any rank.
@@lordpeterturbo5216 there is not a single competitive game in the universe that every character is viable. Metas are constantly changing and perfect balance is damn near impossible to achieve. Now to be fair overwatch definitely needs to get better at balancing but no in the sense where everyone is a great pick
@@eepss6098 Street fighter 6? Dragon ball fighterz? There's many games where everyone is B-tier and above and it's not a massive difference between the cast
Lowkey feel obligated to go let the original video play while doing something else, this was a masterpiece
Yep
I had it playing on my laptop when I left for dinner, just make sure you don't mute it on youtube or increase the speed
Does anyone know the song at 5:40?
My proudest moment in overwatch is when my game chat agreed my lifeweaver gameplay hard carried a match. Lol
I had enemy soldier plead with me to let him finish one kill 😂 every time he was about to kill someone I either yoinked them to safety or popped my ult and saved my team, he was getting so desperate that he tried to hard focus me but my tank and second support were amazing and protecting me.
Still riding the high off that one time someone said "Flowerboy hard carried" about me at the end of the match. There really is no feeling that compares is there
It is easy to carry as lw after his s6 buffs
had an enemy team hard focus me and admit I was the carry for them to win but I can't imagine being able to do that before the buffs
The skills he started busting out as he got better and better were truly magical, I hope now he can rest easy
A player leaving mid match really takes its toll especially in gold/plat. It happens way to often then people think
Ikr, I swear its like every 1/10 matches someone just leaves. (1/5 on bad days. The worst I had it was 3/3 games)
Leavers are one of the worst feelings in comp, there’s literally nothing you can do to win, no matter how well you play.
Agreed, this comment just reminded me how theyre punishing leaving unranked too now and that however i disagree with like in comp 100% i join to play fully but unranked is like practice fun time for me and if i get busy and gotta leave or go afk dont suspend my acct from all matches 😭😂
@@pixipie123they’ve anyways penalised leaving QP games though. Though losing 75% of earned XP form a game after leaving 5 out of your last 20 games isn’t quite as “harsh” as it is now.
I can understand why they’re trying to do something about it, It’s annoying to backfill into an ongoing game, but then at the same time, the result of an unranked game doesn’t matter. That’s my take anyways.
And it's always the most bitchy and awful person in the chat who's going to say like some coping thing to why it's not his fault and leave but yet he's 1/10 in the stats
"I SMURF YOUR PEAK" THAT KILLED ME
I laughed so hard when Reinhardt used his platform to slam the Pharah. Not just because the clip was legendary but because I said no way and Flats said it after, it cracked me up so hard 😂
This by far, the most realistic unranked to gm series I have ever seen on RUclips
Bro just pulled back a literal 1HP Anti-naded Soldier only for him to run back in STILL 1HP AND ANTI'D 😫 - Support Experience in a nutshell
Literally you can’t make this shit up. Plat and Diamond are cesspools filled with these types of players. People never believe me when I say elo hell is real and I’m just going to show them this Bogur video from now on
@@nyeoniiit's from bronze on up to those ranks 😂. It's miserable essentially as support even.
In the metal ranks BASED
@nyeonii yup literally everybody says do dmg & heal but that's not gunna matter much when u get Tanks that feed or have no concept of positioning
@@nyeoniiplat and diamond are where us scrubs who have either ok game sense or ok mechanical skill. Never both
Man, this is really funny to watch having just climbed to masters for the first time with Lifeweaver lmao its night and day how much better 20ish buffs (tree overhealth counts for buffs 15-20 alone) made him lol
FR he is so much better now
I kinda think he's totally busted. Especially tree since you get 750 potential hp per player from healing that cannot be blocked in any way with overhealth when full and provides cover and moves with payload. 2k hp that makes enemy get more overhealth when trying to kill the tree, lasts 15 seconds, can't be shut down in any way unlike bob who can be shut down completely and has half the hp and won't even kill a lw tree
Tbh ey need to nerf lw. He’s busted rn.
@@paulahrens581if you think he’s busted, don’t look at any other support 😂
@NegativeZenn lifweaver can literally negate most ultimates in the game alone.
Petal or grip or tree to negate a grav or shatter. Most ults on tanks he can very easily negate with any of his kit.
Meaning you need to get 2 petals out, life grip and a tree to even use a grav or a winston ult or shatter etc.
Flats always does such good reaction videos. Actually pauses the video and adds things instead of letting it run while staring blankly at the screen
Riiight...
hes still freeloading off of others work
@@Tutualoe bro asked if he could watch the video. wym??
@@LeoRedFang If he got permission, it's above board. But pausing the video and saying things here and there is always copyright infringement because the entirety of the original is just being repackaged. You can't take my chocolate cake, ice it, and take all the compliments about how nice your cake was.
@@skarloeythomas5172I can however ask if I’m allowed to ice your chocolate cake, and if you say yes, ice it, and then have people compliment the icing I did on the cake you made
Imagine seeing Bogur on Support and asking him to play LW, he just leaves and you never hear from him again.
37:00 The amount of clowns I run into in ow2 that turn red when I say this is astounding. YOU DO NOT NEED COMMS TO CLIMB, JUST UNDERSTAND THE GAME AND BE GOOD ENOUGH TO CARRY OR DO YOUR PART ON YOUR TEAM.
5:00 and forth...bogur singlehandedly explaining why some matches as support feel miserable sometimes...true, they are op but even if you heal accordingly, peel for the other support, deny flankers any kills, deny ultimates, deal damage and save teammates, if they dont hit nothing, you as support cant make them hit those shots...those games are not the majority, but when you have to deal with those, you really feel powerless
True but support mains typically can’t do any better so it’s funny to see them get angry
to be fair, this is a lot worse on lifeweaver. i think he specifically meant that as lifeweaver the support experience like that is so much worse than on other characters. ana for example (though tbf the prime example) can genuinely add a lot of value to the team with her util and actually win fights. an anti nade can a lot of times be the reason the tank dies, a sleep can confirm you a kill, a nano can also very easily get a lot of value and in the worst case scenario she at least could pressure a pharah if your dps really arent doing much. a lifeweaver really doesnt do anything that could help your team out for more than healing and a save.
This is absolutely a skill issue. Sure, you can’t control your teammates, but you can control yourself. If you’re in this situation and don’t immediately think “huh, team isn’t killing anything, I’ll take the initiative and start damaging more,” you’re part of the problem.
I mean that can be on dps and tank to, its just a team game problem
@@xdress1746The problem is just that with Lifeweaver you can rarely kill shit unless they are right next to you and in high rank games usually you are the one who will die faster cause weavers dmg spread is crap

i watched bogurs video 2 days ago and today again along side flats.
it is such a damn good video about such an insane undertaking and journey- the edits and music choices were so on point and the emotional rollercoaster is real.
bogur is an insane lad and absolute giga chad

9:18 I played a game on New Queen Street yesterday that is such a perfect example of this. Masters 3 average lobby, my team was losing fight after fight after fight. They pushed all but to full-cap right off the bat and it was looking grim. I wasn't having my best game, there was very little voice chat communication between everyone, and I was feeling defeated. My team did not give up though, even at the seeming end. We stalled it out, everyone just did the best they could do in that moment, and we're able to put a hold together when we needed it most. I was uncertain if we had any chance to win - they'd nearly full-capped and we had to push it ALL the way to the other side with maybe 5 minutes on the clock - we couldn't afford to lose more than one or two fights. Nobody on the team gave up. We made some adjustments and kept going. We won a fight. Then the next. And the next. I could FEEL the momentum building in the team even if nobody was talking in voice but me. Overtime hits as we round the last corner, and the pressure was on. Any mistakes could cost us the game in an instant. The stall at the end felt never-ending, but we WON. Never give up on your team. This game was such a prime example for me of "it's always winnable". It was far from a perfect game, or even a good one. It seemed like all odds were against us, but sure as hell we were in it till the end and it was worth every second. Games like this are the reason I still love play Overwatch. If anyone cares to watch, the code is BRGSJS. I'm SpacePirate :)
I watched Jay3's reaction to this, and I'm glad to see Flats has as well. I sort of agree that Unranked to GM videos aren't that great of content, but this is definitely one worth watching. It's also because of this that this might be worth checking Bogur out more often as well.
Damn Bogur’s editing is on another level. No react content laziness. Nice
In fact, heading over to his channel now to give him his well earned view.
:3@@PeaceMastah
The kiriko duel around 12:00 is a great example of how bloated soke supports kits are vs lifeweaver. Kiri narriwly survives the end of his mag and just 2 shots him... and she gets higher healing per sec, a teleport vs his dash and platform, probably the best ult in the game vs the tree. Even the best part of his kit on long cooldown is generally outclassed by suzu on a *single* target, nvm multiple. Theyre just not even remotely close.
Also she can wallclimb and he can't. It's dumb
You were definitely right. This is a masterpiece within the Overwatch community. I laughed so hard.
I love how about halfway through the video he literally just goes insane
That rien named Hollywood is a legend.
can we appreciate the fact that flats was sat there looking at his phone making 0 commantery for a solid 10 minutes throughout this vid, truly transformative content.
Tbf your mom writes really long texts.
@@charlesdotwin you sure showed me Charles, I apologise for pointing out the fact that reaction content is awful and exploitative.

@@ievaday yeah im not gonna start an argument here I just don't agree with reaction vids in general.
I watched the Bogur Vid already, but, I'm glad I'm watching the react. Flats cheering for and caring about what Bogur went through was special to me. That's the way to be.
One must imagine Lifeweaver happy.
As someone who did t500/gm flex solo q s1-8 i can 100% confirm that while lower elos can be bad, you definitely start meeting very special individuals (13:49) between diamond1 and early gm. Usually apes that play 24/7 and got there by sheer persistence and being slightly above average but vastly overestimate their abilities and will flame like there's no tomorrow. high gm/t500 is much better, late diamond/early gm is fucking atrocious egos wise. Was true then, still true now..
21:17, when the Rein charged the Pharah off of the platform, that almost made me break my desk it was so funny.
This was so much of a cinematic masterpiece that I didn't realize it was almost an hour long. And there is a reason I'm a tank main
the plat in Overwatch currently, feels like the Bronze-Silver in Valorant.
sooo many people want to give up before even trying.
21:25 oh god, that's like the old Widow grapple! The one that just hooked you onto anything on or around you besides where you were aiming
this was such a rollercoaster so glad i watched it all congrats Bog!
but grills think this is boring tho
Bogur’s monologues were incredible
first video of him I saw, Bogur is my idol....I hope his mind snaps back in place, bless him
My favorite thing about this video is the amount of assassins creed 2 songs used in it.
A game literally about a happy, charming guy, going crazy and bloodthirsty and has to find his sanity, and humanity again
This is a lesson in why i no longer watch twitch. Chat can ruin the experience for me. I was a mod for ohnickel back in the day and never again. Dealing with almost 1k people back when bots were not really used. I feel for streamers nowadays. People back then were fing brain dead. So i can only imagine how bad they are now. Sorry his chat being dumb brought back some memories lol
Credit where it's due, that was an extreme effort
its straight gigachad🗿
Admitting that you need a pocket to get kills is fucking insane
I’ve watched this 4 times, twice by myself, once with jay3 and once with flats. That’s how good itnis
Same
Yo it's dope seeing the cracked juri main here

Great Video and a brilliant reaction 😊
Flats reactions always brighten my day ❤
This is an amazing journey. I really feel for how much he put his mind through.
"Dafran, can you turn your monitor on please¿" 🤣🤣
Magnificent. It really was. That production was dope too!
The actual definition of an emotional rollercoaster
Good lord what were their balance team thinking when they released him that he was so bad to get to GM played by someone as good and dedicated as him he needed to be buffed. Also shows how bad the ranking system was that even had issues understanding ranking up and getting stuck in elo hell.
This is Maxwell's House, and we're just living in it.
Ik he did this before his adjustments. I'm a LW main when it comes to support Ik he gets hate but I love him so much the amount of control he exerts on the battle field with his BDSM kit is literally my favorite with his sharp thorns his pink leash and his flowers used correctly with actual team coordination you can have zero death games so frequently
i love how a LOT of this video is just flats trying not to wheeze at bogur’s tilting
So much anxiety ! So heartwarming at the end!
i JUST finished this video, bogur is a legend. i love him.
That tracer pulse bomb pull. Pure pain
Bro the assassins creed 2 music in the background hit a nostalgic spot in my brain
The amount of monologues is astonishingly entertaining...
the gradual enlargement of the rank on the screen 😭 he put it in caps too
i remember when i unlock lw, i played him every game for the next 4 hours i quickplay. the amount of times i've got called to switch is insane, i also lost 90% of my games, it was just horrible
The difference of Wifeleaver then and now is such a huge difference. That one can call him a strong pick situationally speaking compared to before when it was just "Dont try unless you're a god gamer"
They say insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. He has truly gone insane
This was funny to watch. Like the part 'am I a victim of my own hubris...' 😂😂 I did feel his pain
The "giving up on a fight you already won" is so true. People are SO quick to pass blame or to give up when they die more than once. Team wipes are fine, just group up and try again, try different tactics, switch if you need too or use fights to build ults and try to turn the fight with that.
I get it if someone is 0/5 and it's CLEAR that they really aren't adding anything to the fight, but you STILL don't need to be toxic.
I just wish people would actually join the VC in the lower ranks though, would make call-outs and communication WAY easier.
the leaving early thing is in other games as well. i loved battleborn when it was available and so often people would leave after losing the first control point on our side but then still go on to win 4v5 because the game isnt over until the game is over. same when i play magic the gathering. i always draw my last card to see my options before conceding. what i find most annoying in overwatch is that im pretty casual so that means stuck in the mental hell that is gold.
That’s a gg for bogur, cinematic masterpiece ❤
I don’t play ow but I enjoy watching your vids and reacts. Just thought I’d put that out there :)
The comment Bogur made about keeping flaming out of VC unless prompted is honestly based. I wish more people thought like that.
Soundtrack at 27:25 is DOOM 2016 OST - Authorization; Olivia Pierce
Bogur is just built like that 💪
Life Weaver sounds more like Wife Leaver at this point
God I usually just watch his shorts and TikTok’s but flats with out glasses at first I didn’t even recognize him in the thumbnail
imagine playing too much overwatch that you just become radioactive
I'd like to say that I managed to make it to gm playing mostly lifeweaver, which is very different from only lifeweaver, but the biggest issue I ran into were people instantly throwing my game for picking the hero. The worst part of lifeweaver was unironically my teammates' mental upon seeing me pick the hero. Several games I had teammates tell me to swap or they'd throw, then jump off the map all game. That was infinitely more tilting than anything else and I guarantee that is why it took bogur so long to get in as well.
This video gave me the inspiration to redownload palidens and start playing it again once more.
Edit it is no longer supported on the switch may my memories with that game rest in piece
Bogur was so fed up he just starts to pocket Bob instead.
That bottle vanishing is me, that's a light weekend as a support main.
its kinda sad that this video has double the views of the original, no flame to flats but bogur lost big time here
i started playing ranked this season. im a weaver main and i was not expecting a high starting rank but out of the matches i did to get placed multiple of the losses were because of 2 teammates leaving and it being 3v5. losing because i suck is fine, but losing like that is so frustrating
You know it's even crazier I was just playing a regular unranked match and then a life Weaver just keeps keeping me to him as soon as I respawn
The bottle killed me 😂
A Rein randomly hopped on the platform with the sole intention of charging a Pharah successfully out of the freaking air.. I'm dead
This spiral into madness is oddly inspiring
So manytimes i pulled them out of danger, they jump right back in there 😢
Good lord I thought it was just me suffering… I started to main weaver but will still go back to ol faithful (Ana) when I need to. It’s crazy how I can save my teammates pump heals and get picks when I can and still get rolled.
what did he do at 4:40 to get such an applause
That dude braves the abyss and barley got out alive O.O
If anyone ever needs to know , these two keys let you move frame by frame on YT: ,. the not shifted version of
Bro calling them dogs I can’t 😭😂
Loved the editing in the part where he lost his mind.
Not the Reinhardt space program in Masters 😭😭😅
It's super common to go 5 and 1 or 5 and 0 and not move especially at lower elos I've also seen it with really high elo streams too like frogger went 5 and 0 3 times and didn't move
It's funny cause honest to god the second I stopped being shy and started doing callouts (I'm a tank so nowadays especially it's helpful), I climbed DRAMATICALLY. Was hard stuck in bronze no joke for years until I decided to finally start actually TALKING in the game. Now I'm M1 on Ball.
I know that Bogur plays quite a bit with ML7, but damn He became the Oro from Street Fighter as a Lifeweaver
“One cannot achieve success without first enduring pain.”
13:30, OW2 players known different games??? Hearing this ost got me reminiscing
Sisyphus would be proud of your struggle
As a LW main, it's really difficult to go up. I normally solo queue and get teammates that don't know how to play. 2 days ago I finally played competitive with a friend and we won every game.
