  • In today's video, I delve into the concept of the father wound-a pervasive standard of perfection, demand, and potency that permeates the male psyche, leaving a lasting impact on the family system. This wound often stems from the expectations set by the personal father figure, shaping patterns of behavior aimed at either seeking approval or compensating for his absence.
I invite you to explore your father wound and the ways it has influenced your life. Recognizing these patterns is the first step towards healing.
Towards the end of the video, I offer insights on how to begin the healing process without necessarily needing direct contact with your father. By acknowledging and addressing the father wound, we can begin to be the father we always wanted.
Through a humanized lens, I aim to shed light on the complexities of the fathering role and its impact on individuals and families alike. I hope that by sharing these insights, we can collectively move towards healing and understanding.

*2 Ways to Work With Me:*
    *Option 1: 6-Week In-Body Immersion*
This is a private introduction to Somatic Healing. Each week, we will engage in a new exercise that will inspire spontaneous expression as you begin to trust the many ways your body wants to move towards harmony. I will guide you through emotional blocks and help you decode signs within symptoms. In our time together, you will acquire numerous somatic techniques, a comprehensive review of each experience, and a lifestyle plan to live in accordance with the laws of the body. This process is to REVITALIZE what was once traumatized - from frozen to sensitized. Coming alive and feeling like home.
    - Structure: 6/90 min sessions (Must be used within 8 weeks)
This work is for you if you want to learn the mechanics of the body and explore Eastern/Western techniques to heal from trauma.
    *Option 2: 12-Week Private Mentorship*
This is a 12-week experience that requires you to slow down, feel, and express. I take a holistic, embodied approach to help you create a lifestyle that is purposeful and energetically alive.
During our time together, you will learn how to navigate the unconscious psyche-soma and cultivate a healthy sexuality. I will introduce you to books and embodiment exercises, and we will create a diet and exercise plan tailored to your mobility and daily responsibilities. I’ve personalized this mentorship to be as insightful and supportive as possible! All of my work draws upon trauma psychology, somatic techniques, and spiritual practices.
As a self-healing system, respect and compassion are the cornerstones of what makes you feel like ‘home’. Without these two principles, you will have quite a difficult time differentiating from symptoms and will easily fall prey to emotional states. For this reason, there are conditions to inform you if this mentorship is feasible for you.
Prerequisites: Complete sobriety and no medication. However, if you're willing to transition into sobriety and want extra support, I will honorably work with you. This is non-negotiable when working with trauma. If you cannot do this, it’s okay; it simply means that I am not the right coach for you.
This mentorship is right for you if you…
    - Can manage 12 weeks of dedicated somatic inner work
    - Want to learn from the body
    - Can say no to drinking/smoking
    - Have 10-14 hours a week for self-care (2 hours per day)
Full Mentorship Details: This extends over 12 weeks. 1 x 120min weekly meeting (same day & time). I offer support between sessions during open office hours every Friday. This is the optimal time to check in, provide updates, and ask questions. All communication will be through Telegram. I am offline Sunday-Tuesday; these are the days I recharge for the week ahead.
*For All Incoming Clients:* Send a direct message to my Instagram to schedule a consultation. It can take up to 14 days for me to respond because I want to intentionally meet with you.
It’s come to my awareness that this work will cross your path at a very specific time. It requires a significant amount of sacrifice within your personal and emotional reality to have a cohesive integrational experience. Speaking from my heart, this process is as heavy as it is revitalizing - it’s a journey to Respect. This is why my work is structured to be paired with a certain mindset and emotional pull that will transcend mundane reality to link with the magical essence of the Soul. If you’ve read this far and feel a resonance you cannot dismiss, know my purpose here. Until then, heed the call!

My father was always unwell so used to be aggressive to me and my mum. As a middle aged woman i still walk on eggshells around him, so much so i get mild panic attacks every time i see him which is most days.

The fear of the fathers power, I'll withhold my frustration towards him to acknowledge he also has a background and reason for mindless behavior, but i'll also invite you to not fall prey to him as an older woman, when you are with him next let your inner child know that you are there to protect her and bring forward breathing exercises is you feel anxiety or, for long term healing, separating from him altogether until the wound has been integrated and you can neutralize your nervous system when you are in close range of him.

Being macho is an insecurity. Being secure in your self is a very different and far more illusive thing for a guy.
Interesting video. Thanks for making it.

Yes I can agree. I respect the introspection and honest input. Im not a man so I tried my best to empathize with opposites while meeting the collective trauma aspect of the video - your comment gives insight, so thank you.

    Important topic! ❤
Can you share which book helped you the most to understand this concept?

Hi Mareike! I would say my studies on archetypes - look into King, Magician, Warrior and Lover and Female psychology - studies with Marion Woodman, her book The Pregnant Virgin explores the animus and the Electra complex. To be honest, I've read so much that all the concepts are "adding up" and it allowed me to produce this video and the Mother Complex somewhat the same. I wish I had a specific book for you on the father wound to explore.
If I cross one, I'll keep you in mind.
